Please read this... So I called asking for a Swedish massage which is usually soothing. And I was set up with a masseuse by the name of Jason. The massage itself definitely was not Swedish. There were times where it was good and there was times where it was just rough. I kept informing the masseuse to go lighter but I assumed maybe he didn't hear me right. So when the session was over I asked to speak to Alicia which I believe is the owner and I expressed to her that the massage was not relaxing and that i infomed him over and over. She corrected him infront of me and explained to him he must read body language. The issue itself wasn't that the Massage was bad it was just rough and painful more of a deep tissue and I would recommend anyone who likes deep tissue to see Jason (oddly as it sounds when I used to work at the Massage center some people like rough massages) Thanks Alicia for understanding and taking care of the issue she was very apologetic. read more

If you're looking for a cheap, non luxurious but spectacular massage, then Lotus Massage is it!! We came in for a deep tissue couples massage for $120 total (not including tip) and walked out feeling wonderful!! Our massage therapists were friendly and had strong hands!! Alicia did a killer job on the BF and made sure to check on him often. He couldn't stop raving about his massage after! I'm getting her next time! My massage therapist was Linda (?) and she did a great job too! Wayyyy better than the last two massages I had. Keep in mind that this is a very quaint, but clean place - the rooms weren't fully enclosed so there was an open space near the ceiling (check out one of my photos for a better idea). We could also hear people walking up and down the hallway and even the toilet flushing nearby. If you can look past that and don't need 100% peace and quiet like me to stay relaxed, then the massage itself will be worth it! Our only other gripe was that they were taking a few phone calls during the massage. Alicia later apologized and said it was a really busy morning. Again not a big deal. We are definitely coming back regardless! (: read more

We had a great experience. Easy to communicate preferences and the massage exceeded our expectations. The masseuse was confident and the stretches incorporated were phenomenal. Comfortable massage table. read more

Absolutely loved this place. Great prices, quick to schedule and very friendly staff. I'll certainly be coming back to this place soon :)

I really have needed my very tight muscles to be worked on. It was Sunday afternoon and I called to make an appointment and could come right in. Jean gave me such an amazing massage and stretched my body and I feel so much better. I will definitely be back and recommend Lotus Massage. read more

Nightmare massage. After a high recommendation for Alicia on the neighborhood app, I called early in the morning (7:30) and was surprised Alicia picked up the phone. She asked me what time I'd like to come in. We decided on 10 a.m. Everything started out great. About five minutes into the massage, Alicia's cell goes off. She answers the call and conducts appt business. That really did not bother me that much at the time. Then she instantly proceeds to try to get me to have Jason take over the massage, citing the reason as she is the one that has to answer the phone and that there would be more interruptions and that lots of clients request Jason. Ugh. So I agree to Jason. Quickly I can tell Jason obviously has a language barrier. After a couple minutes he starts massaging deep into my spine. Directly on the bone. That's kind of Massage Therapy 101, don't do deep pressure directly on the spine. Alicia told me before she walked out how good he is and that she trained him herself. So I ask Jason to bring Alicia back. I explain the spine thing. I've gotten very sick once before after I allowed deep "tissue" on my spine at another massage shop. It's not "deep spine." Anyway, I ended up calling a stop to the 90-minute massage at an hour as I knew if he hadn't already hurt me, he was going to. I also was uncomfortable a couple times with hand placement and my privacy. I'm not easily offended ever during a massage. Alicia told me I didn't have to tip. I hadn't even gotten to that point yet. Although I always tip, that wasn't going to happen for a second. I was going to pay $60. for a nightmare. I do believe Alicia is probably a great massage therapist, except for the fact that she's also the front receptionist. I will not be returning. It was $60. for read more

Jason is ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!! Grateful for his healing hands He's very intuitive, he knew exactly the spots that needed extra attention Very thorough...much needed healing I live out of state in AZ but now have found my CA therapist. Alicia is the best! Always has a smile and always delivers a quality, PROFESSIONAL, massage. I wanted to express professional because this isnt one of those places. My girl and i go to Alicia exclusively because of her top notch, quality massage work and her professional work ethic. I recommended Alicia to anyone that wants a great massage without the funny business! read more

Well back at lotus massage, boy l needed that great job. As always just the best five stars. Music was quite soothing, Alicia was very talented (although sometimes heavy), and the design of the wall (painting) was beautiful, it goes perfectly with the new little fountain that has seashells in it. As I said, this place was for me, and I recommend others to try it. read more

I've been to pretty much every massage place in town. I feel like a lot are a hit or miss each time. It's unfortunate when you're spending money & you leave dissatisfied. Not the case here at all. I only go to Alicia. She's amazing. She always takes care of me and I ALWAYS leave feeling better. She's an angel, I'm sooooo happy I found her. She always checks with me she is doing good pressure and asks if I'm happy. Highly recommend her!! She's the best around:) read more

Worst massage ever requested to wait for a male massage therapist, I told the woman in charge I prefer a female and she said next time I will massage you if you're not happy. Massage was the worst ever massage therapist had calluses on his hands it was so uncomfortable. And his technique was the worst ever he was just rubbing my skin creating so much friction unbelievable. I told him to stop and left. Never coming back here again. read more

I've been getting massages my whole adult life and Jason, the owner is seriously the best massage I've EVER had.

Had a 60 minute massage for their $30 special. No complaints, the masseuse was GREAT! Called a day ahead to make an appointment, they open at 9:30 I believe. Quiet rooms with a dividing curtain which was perfect for my mom and I. They had a nice aroma oil and hot towels. Intensity of massage was perfect. Atmosphere was quiet and soothing, and those ladies gave their hour of massage without us being short changed. They're really sweet ladies, this massage place is a hidden gem read more

I tried this place out yesterday for the first time. I've seen it there but I don't live that close. I get massages often because I stand all day for work so I took a friend with me so she could experience it since she has never been. I'm so glad we came to this location because it was very clean, they were friendly and the massage was great! I'll be back for sure. Thank you Jason and Lisa read more

Not good. My wife and I came in for a couples massage. The facility was unorganized with paperwork scattered all over the lobby area. Not inviting at all. It looks as though they might live there. My massage was with the male and my wife was with the female. I think they're a married couple but I'm not certain. I do know one thing though, they enjoy talking to each other. That's fine, but save the chatter to your own time. Not when I'm paying for an hour of relaxing massage. My hour there was the furthest thing from relaxing. Frankly, I felt assaulted by my therapist. I asked for light pressure and he gave me the opposite experience. It was almost torture. In addition, his nails were too long and they were digging and cutting into my skin. We paid for this? My wife had a bad experience too. Just too much talking. She was also unprofessional in the sense that she kept pulling my wife's panties down, without asking. Very uncomfortable experience for both of us and we absolutely will not be back. read more

Alicia is awesome but she has moved out of state and office is now closed permanently.

I have received body massage therapy for over 23 years and I have had massage from all over the world. Recently my husband wanted to surprise me with a 90 min deep tissue massage (my favorite) and we are new to town. He looked up top places on Yelp and this location received 4 stars and had many solid reviews. I'll admit when I pulled up I was concerned it wouldn't be a legit spot as the outside of the building is getting some construction done. It's definitely a small "hole in the wall" spot, nothing fancy but usually I have found in my experience these are the ones that are the hidden gems and this spot was just that! Jason was my massage therapist and he DID NOT DISAPPOINT! I don't hesitate to say what I'm about to say because I mean it 100.....this was the best massage I have ever had in my life! Jason is literally a miracle worker at his art of massage. His hands are healing and almost as if he knows which areas of your body need help. My back was incredibly messed up as usual (I'm a stay at home mama to two under three) and he healed every sore spot on my back and body. He even healed areas like my shoulders, hips and hands I didn't know hurt. Explain that!? Prices are incredibly affordable and the place is basic but clean which is all I expect honestly. Jason is outstanding and I will only continue to see him for all my future deep tissue massage! I promise you THIS is the hidden gem you have been looking for. read more

Nice little business run by a hardworking couple, great prices. If you're getting a massage don't be afraid to let them know to go softer or harder as you prefer, they listen to feedback and want you to have a good experience. Also wanted to add a conversation I overheard while I was getting massaged, cause it shows the kind of people they are. The masseuse made a quick call to a previous customer to let her know that they had accidentally charged the wrong amount on her massage and they would be refunding the difference to the customer as soon as she was done with my massage. The reason for the mistake in the first place was because the masseuse had to run to the bathroom after the massage was over, and the other employee rang it up. The customer tried to say it was fine, but the masseuse said, "No we will refund it, that was wrong of me, I'm very sorry." You want to support businesses run by honest, hardworking people. read more

Pricing is very straightforward and VERY reasonable for the quality they offer. I think this business has great potential. I give it 4 out of 5 stars because of presentation. To be honest, if I had not came with my mom, I would've been skeptical to enter. They did not have any appealing welcoming or Hours of Operation signs in front of the building or as you enter the front lobby, just regular black windows. But hey, I was desperate and in dire need of a massage! Also, they might need some more staff. Only saw two people. My mom and I were greeted by a lady which seemed to be the owner, she was welcoming and informative with our options. She first led us to the bathroom all the way in the back then escorted my mom and I to our own rooms next to each other to get undressed. The space is really small but I liked how there was actually just a curtain between my mom and I which was opened after laying down. THEY OFFER CHECK-IN DEALS hello! Stone or aromatherapy! I'm definitely coming back for that. My mom got a massage from the lady and a gentleman gave me an entire body-foot massage. I asked the man to focus more on my back for $35. YES! They massage you with oil, dim lighted, hot towels. Etc The pressure was perfect. I'm grateful to have gotten the guy because I needed someone a little more strong. Although I did ask him to go a little lighter around my neck and shoulders. He massaged my face, scalp, neck, arms, hands, back, butt, legs and feet all in an HOUR! Which felt more like an hour and thirty. Ahhhh I left nearly asleep. My mom and I felt great after!!! Thank you! read more

Alicia is great.I am a truck driver. There is always a lots of tension with my up back and my low back is always painful.I had tried plenty of massage places, trying to fix the problem.Sometimes massage helped but sometimes massage did not work.I found Lotus massage two years ago then I settled down here because Alicia fixes my problems and there is no pain anymore when I have been visiting her twice a month. Thank you Alicia ,life is better without pain. read more

Really good I have all kinds of knots and she worked them really good very well worth the money and time I am definitely going back

I've been traveling all week and my shoulders were seriously tight. My husband has been going here for a couple of months now and highly recommended I go get the one hour massage. I couldn't be more pleased. My masseuse worked hard on my shoulders, devoting some additional time there, with just the right amount of pressure and was good about checking in with me. The place is nice inside, and I like that you are in your own room for everything. Pricing is clear and they offer a good menu of services. I will be back! read more

A friend of mine went in for a massage and specifically asked for a woman. They told her it would be extra and she agreed. About halfway through the massage she realized that it is a man doing her massage. Of course, back massages go pretty low and often onto the butt area, which this one did. She was completely frozen and didn't know how to react, which is very normal in a situation like this. This situation was completely unprofessional and outright traumatizing. My friend felt violated. Then, after the massage, the man who did it, tried tacking on extra charges that she didn't agree to and called her a liar and starts harassing her. This situation would have been SO much worse. This place is a joke. read more

Not great at all. The lady barely spoke any English, gave the worst massage, couldn't follow directions when I said she massaged too hard and to go softer, and the kicker.....when I went to pay she stood there basically with her hand out for a tip! ‍ Very displeased!!! read more

The place is quaint and clean. It was my first visit and they were accommodating in making me an appointment on short notice. They even made sure I was comfortable with having a male massuere since I'm a woman. I'm not sure of his name but he was friendly and really great at his craft!
