The lady that massaged me used her elbow and her forearm most of the time which was not soothing. I told her at least four different times that she was massaging too hard. I also asked her to use her hands/palms and she did for just a small period and then went back to using her elbow and her forearm. I asked her if she can massage her focus on my neck and my feet. She did work on my neck, but never once touched my feet. She seemed to not understand and overall it wasn't pleasant. The place seemed clean and professional. I just probably won't go back because if I have to tell somebody four times to use a softer touch than they clearly don't know what they're doing. read more

Tonight I decided to go in and get a massage after a tiring work week and taking care of six kids and attending several funerals I took the last money I had to treat myself to a relaxing massage I chose the 2 hour for $130. The whole appointment I was cold and listening to people come in and out as well as conversations I chose to not let that ruin my mood. At the end of service I thanked the masseuse more than five times I paid $145 and told her to keep the change. With not even a thank you for what I could give she looks at me and says "$15 for two hours" in disgust. I said "yes thank you again" and left. You never know what people are going through and I didn't appreciate her not even being grateful she got to keep the tip at all. I will NOT be back. read more

We went in to get a couples massage and when we payed and were asked what we wanted to leave for a tip we said 15 each but then the lady charging us said no $20 each. We were taken back and felt uncomfortable. I checked my bank account and it shows we were charged $182 instead of the $140 for the couple massage. I needed a massage after a hard workout that caused my back muscles to spasm. I could barely get out of my car. Sun Massage was open on the 4th of July thank God. When in and got deep tissue focused on my lower back. My massage theapist Yoyo was great asking me frequenly about pressure especially since I was already in pain. I never had the Chinese style forearm technique but it definitley worked very well to calm my spasms and the combination hot stones worked perfect to relax the back spasms. Went for a couple massage with my husband today on a whim. We usually go to another place in town but they didn't have openings until later in the day so we tried Sun Massage. Should call it cell phone massage. One handed and as light as my 9 year old son who watches tv at the same time does it...and I told her so. She said "I was checking the time" it was 5/10 mins into the massage and also, there was a clock on each wall. The massage was inconsistent and she seemed like she was guessing the entire time what she was doing. All over the place. We left after and my husband was like not coming back here huh? He was right there and heard me get after her about texting for several minutes during the massage before I spoke up....because I just couldn't believe he was doing it. Solid 3.5 -- We came here for a 60min couples massage and requested for two female masseuse -- luckily they only have female. We were given $5 off for being new customers which was nice. The place looked clean overall and I appreciated the small personal touches like the flowers on the towels. The massage itself was good, definitely had better, but I wish they asked us what parts we wanted them to focus on beforehand. Also, the masseuses kept talking to each other throughout the massage. My masseuse left the room 4 or 5x and I overheard her talking to a colleague in the hallway which took lots of time away.. she also made an awkward comment saying, "you have a nice body." (Is that sexual harassment?) I got cupped, y'all!! I have my usual massage spot in Temecula, but I'm in this area more often, so I thought I'd finally give Sun Massage a try. First off, parking is abundant, but sometimes it can get packed. Be prepared to circle around a few times. I went on a Saturday afternoon around 2 pm. No one was waiting, and I walked in without an appointment. I was led to a semi-private room where the top of the wall doesn't reach the ceiling. Yes, you can hear people walking through and other light sounds, so if you don't want that, this isn't the place for you. My masseuse's name is Mya, and she did a decent job with my massage. I love that they include free hot stones with every massage. Once she got going, she felt my trouble spots (left shoulder/neck areas). I always have knots in those areas, and she did her best to knead them with her arms and elbows. I appreciated that she checked in with me to see if the pressure she was applying was ok. She was getting down into those knots, so I did have to tell her to lighten up just a bit. She then suggested I do the cupping. I'd never tried it, but I was kind of curious about it. I told her, "Maybe next time." Towards the end of the massage, she asked about the cupping again, so I just agreed to it. It literally feels like the cups suck your insides out, lol. The darker the marks, the more toxins you have in those areas. I must have had at least 20 cups on my back. She left me in the room for a few minutes and then returned to check on me. She left me for another 5 minutes. I felt like the cups would pop off if I breathed regularly in and out, so I was half-breathing if that makes sense! Once she took them off, I did feel some relief. You're supposed to repeat the sessions 3 or 4 more times over the course of a few weeks, so I may go for a second session soon. I was waiting for the marks to go away, and it took about a week for me, with the tips of my shoulders taking the longest (weird because those are never sore). Anyway, I'm not a big fan of upselling, which is why I dropped a star. I also ended up paying more than I had originally planned on, but the result was worth it, I guess. Ultimately, the staff was nice and the place is clean. They take cash or Venmo. No, it doesn't hurt, but if you have a low pain tolerance, you might not be able to hang. I was trying to find a massage place on Yelp for my fiancés birthday, and I found this place last night, and they're open until 9 PM so we called and made a reservation for today at 12:30 and they're were super nice and we felt welcomed and the room was so inviting. I loved all the little details they went through for the couples massage. And the ambiance was so relaxing. Soft spa music mixed with birds chirping, and the dimmed lights. They asked what kind of pressure we liked, and I like a medium pressure since I'm petite and my fiancé likes hard pressure because he's tall. It was perfect! Loved the free hot stone massage. Some of us are getting a massage for pleasure, and some like me go in for medicinal purposes. When you go on your phone during a session, we notice the lack of effort. When this happens multiple times, it becomes frustrating and unenjoyable. Please take note that when people call in for a specific massage, you need to reiterate it in person so they and you know what is expected. When effort was initiated, it felt great, though. Unfortunately, I came out unfulfilled mainly because I came in for my ankles and feet and communicated this on the phone, and my feet were barely touched, and my ankles were completely untouched.
