I was looking for a place to get a massage and took a chance at trying Dream Tree Spa...man am I GLAD I did! The asian lady I got actually gave me a very deep tissue massage, which most places don't follow that request. This place is absolutely bull shit! Came here a week ago and paid the same price for an hour. But my second visit before we even start the masseuse asked me how much I'm going to tip. Mind you this is before the massage even started. I told her maybe 10~15$ depending on how good the massage is. She instantly responds that's not enough. I told her thats the same tip I've been giving when I come here and she said no its expensive massage so more tip. Eventually the owner walked in started arguing over tip. All this shit before they even started a massage. What a fucking shame. Don't ever come here unless you want to spend $40in tip when the massage is 50 what a fucking joke. Oh God... it all went south on the flip. I called for an appointment at 8:10pm after a round of golf. They said no appointment, just come in. Yelp page says they're open til 9:30, but sign says they close at 9. So I confirm with them (2 ladies working) if 1 hr massage is ok. They say yes. I go in "room #2" straight down the hall and disrobe. They ask me to pay upfront, so I give them my CC, they charge me $52 ($2 CC fee). When she comes in, I note the time (8:25pm) and ask one more time, "1 hr ok?" She says yes. Massage started ok, she walked on my back and got a few cracks out, which I really appreciated. She seemed to get a bit handsy, but still felt good. Up til this point was pretty good. And then came the flip. Without getting too graphic, I'll just say that she seemed disappointed and what followed was a lackluster massage. She flipped me over one more time to wrap up the massage. By now, what started as a 3.5 (rounded up to 4) star review downgraded to a 3. I looked at the clock and it was only 8:10. So she cut my massage short by 15 min. I was thinking of tipping $15 originally, but cutting my paid time short made me reconsider to $10. I didnt have change, so I gave a $20 and asked for change. She looks at me and says 1 hr, minimum tip is $20! I explained that she cut my massage short, so I'm tipping to the level of service I received. I thought even that was generous. Now the other lady tries to come and calm things down. She asked if I enjoyed the massage, which I did. She said if it'd be ok if I just tip $15. I said fine, not wanting to waste anymore time and effort. So my masseuse goes to get her wallet, says something in Chinese, comes back with my $5 and throws is on the table. The women in charge is a bully who manipulates on tip (one wonders whether the masseuse gets the full tip or if she takes a cut). The fee is comparable to other places in SoCal and the service was OK but the harassment over the tip was totally unacceptable and makes this a place to be avoided. Try at your own risk. read more

I absolutely recommend this massage place! After a long weekend of wine tasting this was a perfect hangover remedy. I got just the 30 min massage and surprisingly it didn't feel like it flew past quickly. I loved how she stretched and my arms and legs in a way I never experienced during a massage before. I'm huge on getting massages regularly at spas and resorts and I have to say this place was truly great. It was perfect! But next time I'm definitely doing 60mins when I have more time. So I needed a quick massage on my lunch break & this place is just a perfect spot for a full body massage $50.00 not bad. I came in on a Wednesday & Kasey was my masseuse she was really nice & super friendly she greeted me when I came in & I ask for a female masseuse & she said she can help me. So my massage was a full body massage I also asked her for more pressure more so on the deep tissue side & she obliged went on she was very attentive asking if the pressure was ok I give this place a four star I would have given this place five star but the only issue I had was she actually finished five mins to early & I much needed the extra five but overall I would come back again thank you Kasey .:) read more

Update....I am changing my original review because of the following: I came back on a Sunday to request the one hour full body massage with the foot massage. They said they don't do foot massages on Sundays and recommended I go to Happy Buddha massage instead... poor business model in my opinion but oh well...I decided to give Dream Tree one more chance only because my first experience there last year in 2017 was good. My adult son and I went today (Saturday) and requested the same thing... full body massages and a foot massage. they said they could only do half hour so I said ok?... and they insisted I pay up front. So I paid $40 each up front for what I thought was going to include a foot massage. I was wrong. Not only was my massage half assed but 30 min later they're sending us out the door asking for a tip which I refused. They said again...they don't do foot massages on Saturdays & Sundays now...what the?? I said when do you do foot massages? she said maybe on Mondays? Otherwise I can go to Happy Buddha....wow. I firmly told them I was disappointed and will never be returning. Then they had the gall to ask me for at least a $5 tip....no way! Dream Tree I'll be surprised if you're still in business by end of this year. Oh & to top it off...I was not informed of the $4 charge you added on for me to use my credit card... consider that your very very cheap tip. read more

I heard about this great place - Dream Tree Spa through a friend of mine, yesterday i finally got the time to visit there. This place is absolutely cute, clean and so cozy. I have been to many different places in the past, but no one does a great job like Casey, who was my masseuse yesterday. She is very friendly and her professionalism and the magic fingers are just amazing. Althought i had to drive over a hour to get there, but I will continue to go there, because it worth every penny you spend! If you like massage, I recommend that you should give it a try. read more
