I highly recommend Indigo Sanctuary. I am now 6 weeks post op my mommy makeover. My surgeon did not recommend lymphatic massages but after reading about them I decided to give it a try since I had a lot of inflammation. Vanessa is absolutely amazing. I am 4 weeks post op mommy makeover after an extreme weight loss. While my surgeon is amazing, he lacked with post op instructions and direction. I researched up lymphatic massage and its benefits. At 3 weeks post op I had a lymphatic massage with another person and saw zero results. This was so discouraging, as everything I had researched about lymphatic massage led me to believe it would help with swelling and bruising. I had surgery on my hand that resulted in significant swelling as well as a loss of mobility. I did a lot of research and learned about lymphatic drainage and that it could help with both inflammation as well as scar tissue. I have to admit that I was a bit of a non-believer but was willing to try in hopes that I could gain the mobility of my thumb back. After my first treatment with Vanessa I noticed that the swelling in my thumb seemed somewhat reduced and it seemed to be healing better. I can't explain it as her treatment was gentle and incredibly relaxing. It would seem like there should be pain or something uncomfortable that should be associated with this success. I'm now scheduled for my 3rd appointment with her and she has some very clear thoughts on what we should do to support my healing.
