PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE - Do not spend your precious time or hard-earned money here! Reico in Springfield failed us from start to finish, and you'll regret it if you even consider visiting them with even your smallest renovation or upgrade project! 1. Our cabinetry order was placed late. Our Reico representative went on vacation without first completing our order, so that set up a massive delay from the start, considering that COVID-related delays were already a significant factor. 2. Pam is a very poor communicator. She would share one estimated delivery date, but then tell us what COULD happen, due to COVID delays. She continually gave mixed messages. Not only that, but she gave us status updates ONLY via e-mail. Some of her updates required actions from us by a certain time, but since we both have careers and obligations to our employers, we missed some of her messages until we accessed our personal e-mails during the evenings. She never just picked up the phone to tell us what we needed to do. She also treated our contractor horribly. 3. We ordered high-end very solid cabinets, but one drawer was damaged. It didn't close properly. Don't get me started on what it took to try to get THAT fixed or replaced! It STILL hasn't been remedied, and it's been MONTHS! I just don't get it! My husband submitted a scathing review of Reico from a survey he received via e-mail, and a Reico company official contacted him directly. He assured my husband that Reico would address our issues, but that has just not happened. No major renovation project goes perfectly smoothly. I can't say more emphatically - RUN. Do NOT use this company. I started my kitchen renovation close to 8 months ago using Reico and I am still waiting on them to complete the work. They ordered the incorrect cabinets, damaged the hood during install, installed the base cabinets and finish trim over exposed subfloor before I saw and complained. I'm still waiting for the parts for them to correct their own mistakes. Additionally, they are not able to complete the trim work as contracted so I am finding a carpenter to finish what they couldn't. The communication is terrible. They told me things would be delivered and the work would be done on a particular date and then that date would come and go with no call or email from them. This review scratches the surface of my terrible experience. please save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere. read more

Umm well we never really got to see their handiwork because they cancelled the appointment we made with them (one that was made three weeks in advance). Stayed home from work for nothing. You would think they would have more than one estimator/designer working for them. Guess not. So yea we won't be using them. If you can't keep a simple appointment, your business probably can't keep much of anything else either. read more

We purchased pricey bathroom cabinets over six months ago and were so excited by what we saw in the showroom. However, after our showroom experience in Timonium, MD things changed. It's been a nightmare. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS VENDOR. After a wait of more than half a year, the cabinets arrived, but the cabinets did not match the drawings of the cabinets we requested. I am following up on a post from a couple of years ago. I purchased cabinets through our contractor from Reico 4 years ago now. At the time I complained the color variation was insane after spending months trying to have the issue reaolved (the cabinet manufacture head of quality control told me they were outside the specification and he would be noting it) with no luck I contacted the better business bureau who tried to help come to resolution: however, Reico just said tuff your stuck with the terrible cabinets. Our sale didn't mean anything to them and likely doesn't impact their overall sales. Our contractor knowing how bad the cabinets turned out was kind enough to offer to reimburse us (but we are still waiting on full reimbursement to get new cabinets). After cleaning the cabinets today I noticed that in all 4 side panels there are multiple nails sticking out of each panel. This is just another example of the poor quality control and assurance procedures by vendors Reico uses. Save yourself the time and grief and using another company even if it costs you a few dollars more. read more

This is a story without a happy ending...end of the review will explain Seems no matter where the reviews are posted, experience with Reico is either good to very good or disastrous Our case was disastrous. Used Reico office in Lutherville- Timonium. We are about as low overhead customer as it gets. We knew exactly what we wanted, even used the manufacturer's website to spec out the cabinets. Selected the manufacturer of our original cabinets for matching style and color. Brought sample into Reico Showroom and was told "oh yea, I know what that is" and proceeded to order. Cabinets arrived and color was off. Reico was no help. After a number of discussions, my wife was told "you're on your own". Reico office in Lutherville-Timonium just wanted us to piss off. Cabinet manufacturer was as helpful as they could be but couldn't offer anything but an apology. During the ordering process, I asked for counter top recommendation and installers. When cabinets arrived, the Reico salesman recalled nothing about the countertop needs or installation, but threw out a figure, off the top of his head, of $2000.00 for cabinet installation ! A number of phone calls culminated with a meeting at the site with Reico management. They will very concerned about the color issue, but also concerned about the way were treated. They finally offered to take the cabinets back and refund the cost. A generous gestures, but by that time we had been without a usable kitchen for about 6 weeks. I offered to keep the cabinets if they installed them. The management agreed and promptly sent out two very competent craftsmen who took care of the job quickly and professionally. Finally, as the cabinets came without glass as the salesperson failed to ask what type of glass I wanted, Reico management offered to pay for the glass. Again a generous offer, but I declined, telling Reico, the entire experience had been so distasteful and stressful it is probably best we went our separate ways. So, after all that, we finally got our kitchens back together. Cabinets are ok. We try to ignore the color issue. However, and here is the bottom line, after all that, and making it very clear how we feel about Reico, guess who is filling my spam folder with their crap...you betcha, Reico. So, after being told to not contact us, they pay no attention to the wishes of their customers. Very long story on how horrible this place is so I'll try and keep it short. We started with an appointment with one designer. After some run around we were told that she couldn't handle our kitchen design. So at least a week after we were supposed to have an appointment, we finally had our first one. We were told we were lucky because we were getting a great designer. From that point, after not being very responsive, she finally had a "preliminary design" done. We then had to go into their showroom to finalize some things and were supposed to have a final design in a couple days. After not having a design when we were supposed to, we started trying to contact the designer and were told it would be just be a little longer. Then she dropped off the face of the earth. We finally got a hold of someone weeks later and it turns out our designer was fired. The manager didn't care about the inconvenience or delay and basically told us to get over it. So now, after over 2 months from starting the process and after the date that the designer said that the kitchen could be complete, we have to find another company. Other things -- their show room is only open during bankers hours so you have to take off work to meet them. Same with them coming to your house to measure, etc. Don't expect them to do anything to get your business. They think that you should be happy that they'll take your money. read more

I began working with Bob & Jason....owners of Sequoia Construction in Manassas. Last April I began making plans to renovate my home. Bob & Jason work directly with Reico in Springfield and my first task was to select cabinets for the kitchen, bathrooms, and wet bar. Bob asked me to make an appointment with Shanae Mobley and the adventure began! Shanae and I met in person twice and she worked with me patiently, helping me to make decisions about the color and organization. When Shanae came to "measure"....she continued to ask questions and make adjustments to make sure I had exactly what I wanted. Throughout the whole process, Shanae worked within my budget which required several revisions to the plans. Everything was delivered when promised and during the window after the order was placed, I received updates on the delivery dates. The cabinets are of the highest quality and I am VERY pleased. I echo the same experience as the existing review on this page (If only I had referred to Yelp prior). Despite their appearance with a welcoming presentation, greeting new customers on a personalized "Welcome Sign" once you make an appointment by name, Reico provided a virtually indescribable and unfortunately bad experience after over two weeks working with an associate who eventually came out to measure with the "project coordinator" ie. Manager. The day of measurement we had an appointment to solidify our order in the evening. The associate called and left a brief message to say she was "canceling my appointment and would not be rescheduling since the kitchen project would not fit into the Reico process". It was unbelievable. While there were definitely one or two friendly associates at this Reico, it was overall an enormous waste of my time and I do Not recommend anything about them. I'd rather give them 0 stars so anyone considering them could spare being misdirected as I was in this ultimate poor experience. read more

I am so happy to write a review and like Christine I had a wonderful, fun experience. Starting with the manager Jason who emailed me to make sure all was good and on time --to the designer Rachel --who is gifted -- to Neil who was on top of the production. The result is I have a spectacular kitchen and it was finished on time. The team was super-- the kitchen is exactly what I dreamed of and on top of it it was a pleasure to deal with REICO. I even had some issues (not their fault) which they corrected as a follow up-- no blame saying it was me--they just took care of it!!! Thanks for the wonderful experience and product. read more

REICO Springfield, VA was selected by chance because a repairman we know suggested that Reico had good deals on cabinets. We went to look at their show room and the rest is history. We met Nancy K. who patiently guided us through an out-to-the-studs bathroom renovation. Reico had all the resources at their show room, great craftsmen and other vendors that made the process quick and easy. After enjoying a splendid shower in the renovated bath, we decided to redo the kitchen. Another out-to-the-studs kitchen renovation puzzle was orchestrated by Nancy and her team. Again, we used all their resources and the same craftsmen. The project went smoothly and finished on schedule. Both the master bathroom and kitchen are outstanding! They came in and designed the kitchen and when installed a quarter of rhe cabinets would open. They blamed the installers. I said did u design it and they were like we'll yes but we didn't install it. I had to problem solve for them because they couldn't figure it out. They told me these were their crappiest cabinets and they would never buy them. The cabinets also came with scratches and they said there is nothing they can do about it how they were made during the building process. I still have a cabinet that won't open and they won't answer my phone calls. Pretty crazy how they treat people. read more

A very pleasant experience from start to finish. We only purchased a bathroom vanity, a quartz top and medicine cabinet from them -- so not a big order -- but they were professional and responsive in every way. From the sales floor staff to the delivery of the merchandise, it could not have been better. We even had to return the sliding shelf in the vanity because it did not fit with our plumbing and they took it back, no hassles and refunded our money promptly. I just had a very bad experience with Reico. We had an appointment for their designer to come to my house today at 10:00 AM. I ran around cleaning up in anticipation of her arrival. No show. At 10:30 she calls and says "where are you? I thought you were coming here?" I reminded her that she was coming to my place and that we even discussed the fact that she had a GPS so directions were unnecessary. Her response was "oh yeah". I asked her if she could now come to my place or if I should go to Reico Springfield. She said, "well I have an 11:30 with another client". I said I would zoom over there and be there in 15 minutes. I risked life and limb to get there as quickly as I could. When I got there, no designer. I asked two people to find her. One said she was on the phone downstairs. After cooling my heels for 15 minutes (of the 45 we potentially had together) I left. On the way out I saw her coming up the stairs. She claimed "no one told me you were here" which I do not believe. I said goodbye. She didn't have the courtesy to standby the desk when she knew I was hurrying over. She obviously didn't want or need my business. read more

REICO is truly a disaster. The staff is disorganized and rude. The products have HUGE mark ups and the customer service is beyond bad. We had happily used REICO in the past so we were so disappointed to have such difficult this time. We ordered 10k of cabinets and fixtures this is evidently a "small" job to REICO but it was big to us. The toilets arrived broken...three times!! Our plumber charged us for the wasted time since he could not install the toilets. We repeatedly received incorrect items including the wrong knobs and later, the incorrect number of the right knobs. We received the wrong amount of trim and mirror trim which was unusable. We are starting another project and Home Depot and Lowe's are looking better!! Please, please, please read the other reviews including the ones on Yelp that REICO managed to hide!!! read more

You know, I saw the other reviews for REICO and it was like they were talking about a different company from my experience. It couldn't have been better. We did a major home remodel, including a new kitchen. We consulted with a designer from their Springfield location who was a total pro. Our builder/contractor told us that he had never worked with a designer who was as precise in her specs - which made his job so much easier. We got several of our appliances from REICO too - refrigerator, Dacor cooktop and Miele warming drawer. We did have an issue with our cooktop vent, but their appliance person took care of it for us. We got custom cherry cabinets that are beautiful and look much more expensive than they were. The cabinets arrived when they said they would - didn't hold up our contractor, although we did have to wait for a few strips for the bottoms to arrive later. I've recommended REICO to others in our neighborhood who have done bathroom or kitchen remodels and no one has had a bad experience. So, would recommend highly. read more
