We used KDC to renovate our Kitchen, Master Bathroom, and fix some other issues around the house that involved tiling, plumbing, drywall, etc. We first started with KDC on the kitchen, where we had them install all new countertops, and replace our cabinets, basically a whole kitchen renovation. They handled everything and had people for plumbing, tiling, painting, electrical. Everything was handled for us with minimal involvement other than picking out materials. It was one of the easiest experiences where we picked out what we wanted in their showroom and had their project manager coming to the house to review progress on a consistent basis. With how smoothly the kitchen went, we had KDC fix our guest bathroom where things went just as smooth, and then do a whole renovation of the master bathroom. Similarly, we picked out all of the materials in their showroom and the results were amazing. The quality and craftsmanship is very detailed, with new cabinets, tiling, moving different fixtures to new locations, and installation of everything flawlessly. They even alerted us to a cheaper countertop option that still met our needs. All in all, it seems like KDC worked on half the house and did some in a timely and expert way. We've recommended them to friends and happy to do so for others. It was refreshing trusting someone to do a great job with minimal supervision and we're thrilled with the results.

We spoke with a dozen different granite countertop suppliers, but we really appreciated how wonderfully Stone And Cabinet Center worked with us in a personal way, and their attention to detail. Ada, Hyhan, and Orhan coordinated cabinet delivery and installation, dishwasher and sink plumbing, and our complex curved-bar and countertop installations. The quality and value we received were outstanding. The cabinets we selected were half inch thick wood with dovetailed slow-close drawers, and because we selected a very large remnant piece of Granite, the price was great. They were kind and gracious every step of the way, and we've already recommended them to friends and neighbors. Our next step is to change the flooring to match our beautiful new wet bar!

I was looking for the expensive Taj Mahal quartzite to transform my island and countertop. Other companies just quoted me at around $12k, but Ada provided a very competitive quote at almost half the cost. There were multiple stone supplier around the corner for me the pick the stone I like. The process was smooth. The team is also very professional. I wanted to add a waterfall to my current island layout and another company said it wasn't possible, but Ada's team made it happened beautifully! I had heard horror story that the Taj Mahal quartzite is so hard to cut, and it would break without proper technology. Fortunately that did not happen to me. Every piece was cut and polished nicely. This team knows what they are doing but did not put a crazy price tag in the work they do. I have to mention the customer service is great with this team. Ada is a reliable, honest and responsive guy to work with. There was an incident that we found our water line leaky after the installation, which could happened during removal of the original granite but nobody was sure. Ada just stood up and took the responsibility immediately. There was also miscommunication during the process but Ada was always there to resolve the problems and made the process worry free. This is the team that you want to work with because unexpected things and mistakes could happen in every project, but they will make it right for you. Shelves - height placement ... Door and Shower - height placement) for Our approval for ANYTHING cosmetic, and or for aesthetic purposes ... Working with Johan, the designer, was wonderful. He listened to our goals, made great recommendations and never tried to upsell. Omer, the project manager, was terrific and dropped by regularly to ensure everything was running smoothly, and answer any questions we had. Pedro, Bernardo and their team were great. They always arrived on time (at 7:30 one morning when the cabinets were scheduled to arrive), meticulously cleaned up everyday and executed the project with skilled perfection. And, thank you to the gentleman who hauled away the trash and debris everyday so that it wouldn't remain in our driveway. I highly recommend Dulles Kitchen & Bath!! My first bathroom by EP Remodeling (June 2023) was good. Competitive price, good work, and the…read moreonly issue is that the tub spout had a manufacturer issue and they came out and changed it with no extra charge. The owner did this bathroom personally. When we got a crack in the shower pan of another bathroom (Nov 2023), I called up EP Remodeling. This second bathroom was done by two other people (not the owner) and had some issues with the grout cracking, which they came out to fix three times, telling me "it's the subfloor." We also had an issue with the shower niche holding water (they are supposed to be slanted so that the water drips from the front, not gets held up). I am short, and this is above eye level, so I didn't realize it until it was molded over. My husband asked them about this on one of their floor visits and they told him "it's supposed to be like that, take your hand and wipe it away." This is when I stopped contacting them. I kept making band-aid fixes - fixing the cracked grout, re-caulking in the niche (the caulk had molded and peeled away from holding water). Now, 18 months later, I am spending $2,500 because the floor is completely hollow--the tiles were buttered with mortar (the tile and floor are both supposed to get it). Also, the cement board wasn't screwed down to the subfloor (which two contractors told me it was supposed to be). When I showed two contractors photos of the progress each day they pointed out other problems - like the fact that to screw the cement board into the wall for the shower they used drywall screws, not the specific screws that are supposed to be used (and are obvious as they have fatter heads)... but they did use those for the first bathroom. I am really disappointed in the decline in the quality of the work, but how they lied to me that it was the sub-floor (if it really was the sub-floor, wouldn't they have said something when the bathroom was gutted) or that a shower niche is "supposed to be like that." I would be very careful and get it in writing as to who will perform the actual work before moving forward. The price I got was great, but it's not when you consider the extra supplies I had to purchase when they came out to "fix" their poor work, the costs I'll have to pay another contractor, and the new tile I will need to purchase again... as well as living through things being torn out and fixed over and over again.
