Our experience was great - even with hiccups in the process (finding mold, needing a beam, etc.), Bill was incredibly easy to work with, always kept us informed, and was so communicative! OJ is incredibly talented and is attentive to detail - seems like he can do everything well. We had a deadline because we had family in town and they worked incredibly hard to get it done by then and they did! I was so grateful that we went with Everest because not only was it the best price, but it was a fantastic experience.

TLDR: Overall results are good. Ghosted on an issue tried to have resolved - repeatedly…read more The counters are beautiful. They had a nice selection, were reasonably priced and did a great job cutting. They were pleasant to work with too. However, we did have a more significant issue and I'm not a fan of how it was handled (or rather lack there of). During installation, I was told the seam on the counter would line up with the same matching backsplash lip. I came back into the room and it was already done but not lined up (2.5" apart) - no attempt to tell me even though I was home. I spoke with the owner Eric after who assured me that it could be corrected. I offered to pay. He implied that was not needed and he would text or call me back to schedule. He didn't. This happened several times. Now my backsplash tile is about to go in. Perhaps this would be a non-issue for most. For us, we are installing large format tile, and so in this case there will be three different seams within a 6" space - not aesthetically pleasing in our opinion. Each time I reached out to owner over a few weeks, he assured me no problem they would take care of and schedule. I was ghosted each time. Couple of other smaller issues we noticed that we can live with that aren't earth shattering: backsplash different height in separate area, they added a metal piece above dishwasher and now it makes a metal scraping sound when it closes, underside of island counter has netting. If you want a reasonable deal and quality, they are a decent option. If details like this matter to you, look elsewhere. I personally will look elsewhere for any future work. ETA: just realized the island was not cut straight. The edges have wobbles when running hand along.

George came to our home to next day after initial contact to provide a quote, we went a few hours later to select the slab, and he returned himself a few hours later to create a template. We had our countertop installed today (day 5 after initial contact) and are very happy with the result. Everything was smooth and the timeline was exactly what he told us it would be. No surprises, no hiccups, just wonderful professional service and a great final outcome!

Then we met George from GEOS Cabinets and Countertops, and everything changed. George told us straight up that trying to match our existing cabinets would cost more than it was worth. His crew had to navigate some structural issues during installation but still within a week from his first visit, we had stunning new countertops installed, which completely transformed our kitchen.
