I ordered an SDL French exterior door with two sidelights for nearly $8,000 (installation was an…read moreadditional $2,500). Matt, the salesperson, was great throughout the sales process. Unfortunately, everything went downhill after the installation began. The door arrived with a broken pane, gouges, peeling primer, and large globs of adhesive in all four corners of each of the 35 divided-light panes, which would make painting the door extremely difficult. The installation itself was equally disappointing. Throughout the day, I raised concerns about a number of issues, including a bouncy threshold (part of it appeared to be plastic), poorly finished interior trim, damage to my cedar porch floor, a crookedly installed handset, and exterior trim that was uneven in width despite originally being a consistent 4 inches. The installer placed a 6'9" 5x1 cedar trim piece on top of the side trim without securing it, and it fell from a height directly on my head, leaving me with pain, dizziness, and a large bump for 2 weeks. By 6:00 p.m., I asked the installer to stop. The exterior trim was still unfinished, there were gaps of at least 1/4 inch in the interior trim, the door sweep was loose, and blown-in insulation was falling from the gap in top trim, and a large piece of plaster came off from trying to place the door in place. The interior trim had been attached to my lath-and-plaster walls with what appeared to be brad nails, which did not seem adequate to securely hold the trim. I could easily move the trim after it was installed. The next day, Rob, the installation manager, came to inspect the work and took photos. I explained everything in this review above to him. That was two weeks ago. Since then, I have been unable to get any meaningful update despite multiple attempts to contact the company. I emailed and texted the owner without a response, emailed the operations address, and still couldn't get either a response or Rob's direct contact information. I was also told I would receive a call today, but no one reached out. At this point, I'm still waiting to hear what the plan is to correct these issues. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company. For a project of this cost, I expected much better workmanship, communication, and follow-through. UPDATE 7/14/2026: I finally received an email from "Operations" requesting my availability for an onsite inspection of the door with the local vendor. Unfortunately, I am still unable to communicate directly with Rob, the operations manager, or the owner of the company. Instead, all communication continues to go through the administrative staff. Initially, the emails were signed with the administrator's name, but they are now simply signed "Operations." I also received emails on a Sunday evening outside of normal business hours. Rather than communicating with me directly, management continues to rely on administrative staff as the intermediary. I find this frustrating because it makes resolving the issue more difficult and leaves me without direct communication from the people responsible for handling my concerns. At this point, I remain disappointed with how this situation has been handled. I hope the onsite inspection finally leads to a resolution.

It's now been 10 months since completion and we've experienced zero issues whatsoever, which is testament to the quality of the work. From the start, Kirill was responsive and responsible. His bid was competitive, and he was extremely detail-oriented. Since we wanted to order our own windows from Dunn Lumber, we had multiple conversations to ensure the measurements were exactly right. His thoroughness paid off -- all the windows arrived exactly as planned, avoiding delays or returns. During the installation process itself, Kirill and his crew (Ivan and Ivan) were always on time, courteous, efficient, and professional. They may be the ONLY contractors we've ever worked with who finished within the timeline that they laid out. Overall, we really enjoyed working with Kirill and would 100% recommend him to anyone looking to replace windows or doors. It would be nice if they also offered finishing services, like drywall touch-up and painting, but the quality of the work that they do specialize in is absolutely impeccable. Don't think twice about hiring Cascade!

Ivan and his team arrived on time and completed the install, replacing the exterior window and the interior door trim to match what was installed (but with better quality). Ivan was even able to address our misaligned original window trim. Now our drafty house feels sealed and quiet, with a noticable decrease in the time the heater is running. Kirill was responsive to any questions and worked with us to resolve a misunderstanding of weekend scheduled work. Ivan, Roman, and Teras were all attentive to our interior and made a point to clean up afterwards.

They even insisted on cleaning up the little plastic bits that came off the window during the repair (even though I told them I could take care of it). His quote was by far the most reasonable of every one of the 4 companies we contacted, and while others were giving us an 8-12 week window, Moe was able to come out weeks earlier. On top of that, he is incredibly personable and charming -- just an absolute pleasure to work with. We needed a window replaced, and not only did he give us the best price, he completed the entire job in about three hours. He made the existing frame look like new and, when he was finished, even vacuumed the entire floor to make sure there wasn't a speck of dust or debris left behind. Great price, fantastic workmanship, incredibly responsive, and genuinely wonderful service. We couldn't have had a better experience and will absolutely call him again. The Rheem estimate from the big box store was ridiculous; the teaser price went up by 50% once they actually itemized the install. After at least 5 separate attempts on our part to get things fixed and finalized. Every time we call, they commit to a follow up, and then we are completely ghosted. We were also promised proof that they register the 50-year warranty paperwork with Trex, for us. But we have yet to see any evidence of this. The workers, most days, didn't show up, gave no notice that they weren't coming, and required us to constantly call, email, text, to try and find out what was going on. And still, even after another phone call this past week, no one has called us back to fix or even schedule anything for the remaining issues. Very disappointed in this company!!!
