They are truly the type of people that make a person feel welcomed and that they will go the extra mile for you. Frankly though, and most importantly, I trust the practice with the care of my elderly parents and my children. The level of knowledge and expertise, coupled with the sincerest of hospitality and friendliness, is a combination that allows for me to confidently and proudly give them 5 stars and refer business to them at any chance I get.

I wanted to share my disappointment with our recent experience at your practice…read more Earlier this week, I received a call letting me know that my son's contacts were ready for pickup. During that call, I learned that he would need an appointment so the contacts could be fitted and checked before we could take them home. I explained that I would wait until our glasses were ready so that we could hopefully take care of everything in one visit. Unfortunately, I never received a phone call letting me know that my glasses and my son's glasses were ready. When I contacted the office, I was told that a text had been sent on August 10. I checked my phone, and I did not receive a text from your office on August 10 notifying me that the glasses were ready. Since I am coming in today to pick up both pairs of glasses, I asked if my son could also have his contact fitting completed today so that we could take care of everything in one trip. I was told there were no appointments available and that the next appointment was Monday at 8:00 a.m. My son is in school at that time, and I am not willing to pull him out of school for a contact lens fitting. I then asked for the latest appointment available and was told that the latest your office schedules these appointments is 3:00 p.m. This means I will still have to leave work approximately two hours early and pull my son out of school early simply to have his contacts checked. What makes this especially frustrating is that my son already wears contacts and is comfortable putting them in and taking them out. At his previous appointment, checking the contacts and confirming the fit took only a few minutes. I understand that your office has procedures and scheduling requirements, but requiring a separate visit during school and work hours for such a brief fitting is extremely inconvenient for working parents and school-aged children. I want to emphasize that everyone we have interacted with has been very nice, and we were initially very pleased with your practice. That is why this is so disappointing. Had I known beforehand that contact fittings could only be scheduled during such limited hours, requiring me to leave work and my son to leave school early, we likely would have chosen a different practice. Unfortunately, because of the communication issue and the lack of appointment flexibility, my family and I will not be returning to your practice after this. I hope you will consider this feedback, particularly when scheduling appointments for school-aged children and working families. Even offering one later appointment time during the week would make a significant difference.

I had heard great things about Dr Nash, so decided to give Nash Eye Care a try. My disappointment…read moreis great. I can't fathom why they're booking out months in advance. Who would return here?? As others have noted, the support staff at the front is shockingly out of tune with their patients (that term should actually be "customers", because this is NOT a medical service provider. More on that later). The overwhelming feeling you get is that you are an unintelligent nuisance, rather than the paying customer that you are. Furthermore, it becomes evident quickly that these gatekeepers don't really know what they're doing or how to do it. When they become self conscious about that, they will step up efforts to gaslight you and really make you pay for their own ineptitude. Once you get past the gargoyles at the front, you begin with the basic series of eye tests from a technician who is already trying to upsell your exam with alternatives to pupil dilation. Odd, but okay whatever, let's continue. Off to the exam room. I was not able to see Dr Nash, but the doctor I did get was good, hence the second star. She seemed efficient, knowledgeable, and thorough, although she was quite cold and not very personable. Okay exam is over, time to pick some frames. But from where? It had struck me that the selection seemed rather sparse when I first walked in, but I thought surely there must be some out-of-sight show room or a hidden display somewhere with ample selection. They certainly have the space at the facility. But, nope. What you see is what you get and let me tell ya, it's not much. I would feel confident estimating that the options were 1/20th of what you'd find with any other optometrist. With nothing to settle on, I opted to retain my old frames and just get new lenses with the new prescription. And here's where they level the boom on you; "basic lenses" will still cost you out of pocket. But should you want scratch protection and anti glare coating; $365. Excuse me?? What?! I have top notch insurance, I have never paid anywhere close to that for new glasses (frames and lenses) with all the bells and whistles. "Can you please check that again?" [the ineptitude cogs start clunking] "Yep, that's right" comes the response. Riiiight. Welp, I'm out. Thanks for the new prescription guess I'm ordering online. This place is just milking its customer base for every penny they can get under the guise of "eye care". This is not an eye care center. This is a grossly overpriced eyewear store, and the staff are just salespeople, rude ones at that. The convenience of location for some does not mitigate the negatives.
