They numbed it and did the florescent drops and did not find anything in there and said I had an eye infection and wrote an antibiotic RX. On Tuesday, my eye was still hurting and still felt like something was in it. Called up Spring Hill Eyecare and they were able to fit me in. They were VERY COVID cautious and everything was clean and well organized. Dr. Kathryn Beckman was very prompt and friendly. After putting in the florescent drops, Dr. Beckman said she suspected there was something up under my eyelid because of the redness she saw on my upper eye. She was able to flip my eyelid and found the culprit!! The pain was instantly gone and I was so appreciative. She said the piece was stuck in the fleshy part of my eyelid and probably would not have come out on its own and would have continued to agitate my eye and probably develop into an ulcer!!! Yikes!! They even called the Walgreens to make sure they had the RX eyedrops in stock before they sent me there! I am so thankful for Dr. Beckman and the amazing team at Spring Hill Eyecare.

Multiple items were recommended and added without clear, upfront disclosure of cost. I ended up spending more than five times what I normally spend for annual eye care. At no point was I clearly warned how expensive this visit was becoming or given a transparent comparison to standard pricing. If you go here, expect to pay significantly more than you ever have for routine eye care. The environment is polished, but you will pay a premium for it.

There is one exception, but I have already brought that to the attention of the staff and they quickly took care of it. My review here is mainly going to focus on two individuals - Dr. Barberic and Katie Evans. I'll begin with Katie. She went above and beyond the call of duty to take care of me. When I was referred to a specialist at Vandy, Katie called them to get my appointment scheduled as quickly as possible. She even personally met me when the office was closed in order to pick up some paperwork from me. She texted to check on me over a holiday weekend. This is what excellent customer service looks like! Dr. Barberic is absolutely the best!! I just can't say enough about her and what she has done for me. She is, without a doubt, the most caring and compassionate doctor I've ever seen. The level of care and personal attention she gives is unparalleled. There is no doubt I would not have progressed as well as I have had it not been for Dr. Barberic. She took the time to call and check on me the same weekend of her father-in-law's funeral. That is certainly above and beyond the expectations I had. She genuinely cares about her patients and wants the very best for them. I am so very thankful for everything she has done for me! There are certainly other staff members that I can recognize. This place is absolutely terrible. I mean, the worst…read more First, they incorrectly diagnosed me with a hole in my retina. I went to a retina specialist and they said I 100% don't have a hole in my retina. Then when I went back to Cool Springs Eye care and told them they legitimately laughed at me as if it was obvious the specialist was wrong (who they recommended to me). Since then I've gotten it checked by multiple other Doctors and confirmed that there is no hole in my retina. Then they got my prescription wrong by nearly a whole point! When I told them that something felt off they acted bothered and told me there is nothing that they can do. Dr. Robin Brady in particular has the unique quality of being both incredibly arrogant and simultaneously laughably wrong about what he's talking about. I've never been to a worse eye doctor before, someone should seriously take his license away. Please steer clear and go to another doctor in town.
