I stopped by here for an eye exam. First off, the office staff are amazing: Bella and Emily. But the really amazing thing was the eye doctor. Dr. Mallory. She should be an engineer. She has the most amazing analytical approach to making prescriptions, and explaining everything. Never had an eye exam like this in all my life. She was even able to have me try on the lenses she recommended using a modular glasses kit. These were for viewing computer monitors for work, so she had me test it out on her monitor. This is the most advanced setup I have ever seen. She spent triple the amount of time with me than any other eye doctor. Do not go anywhere else! read more

First took my son in to see Dr Price for glasses and loved her. I went in today to get new contacts. My previous doctor in Indiana was an idiot and couldn't fit me into a multi focal lens. I was very hesitant prior to this visit because the Indiana doctor told me I was not a good candidate for multifocal lens as it doesn't always work for some people. Dr Price reassured me that she'll find me a lens that'll work and let me tell you, she did!! It feels so good to wear contacts and not need reader glasses with them! Highly impressed with this place. I'd never been there before. I had a badly burning eye for 2 days that I could barely keep open. I called in the morning and they were able to get me in that afternoon. When I got there, the entire staff was so attentive; giving me 'sunglasses' knowing that I was having light sensitivity, took me in quickly and gave me numbing drops so the pain would stop. Dr Price was so nice. Very attentive to checking what was in my eye and got it out painlessly. The continuously kept checking to make sure nothing was left and that my eye was ok. They sure saved me from the major pain I was going through. I had antibiotic eye drops prescribed to me and was wondering why nearly 2 hours later Target didn't have it ready. Before I knew it, the front desk person called me to tell me she forgot to call it in. She was so apologetic that I wasn't even upset; things happen. Sadly Target was out of stock and I wouldn't get it until the next day. I will be back when I need my eyes examined in the next few weeks. Love to go to a business where everyone is so nice and having it down the street from me is a plus. read more

Dr. Price and her entire staff are pretty awesome. They were so helpful and patient with me as I tried to pick out a pair of glasses that fit my face right. They printed a Rx for contacts and glasses that I could take anywhere, but I liked their selection and didn't want to wait! So thankful for the experience we had! I brought my two year old son with special needs in for his yearly appointment. My 18 month old and 4 year old also came with me. Throughout the entire appointment, they were so patient with my son, allowing him to "help" in all different ways! Someone also sat and played with my two other children while Dr. Price was examining my son. For how hectic t is to get these types of appointments done with three kids, Port Royal Eye Care made it an absolutely wonderful experience! I am also thankful for the ease in scheduling an appointment; their flexibility, and the quick turn around time for getting our glasses back! Well I got scammed by the gentleman that does the fitting into getting all the extra stuff for my new lenses. Went to pick up my new lenses after a couple of weeks. Well none of the anti glare, anti halo, scratch proof coating work at ALL and he forgot to replace the nose pieces! Took the glasses back and sent them out for replacement and well wouldn't you know, the new lenses are delaminating. So I took them back AGAIN. I can honestly say that the owner is very kind and helpful and most of the staff is great. Just don't let yourself get suckered into padding his commission check with all the extra crap you don't need including his attitude. I won't be going back while he still works there!! read more
