I made an appointment for myself and my husband. We get through the Ford UAW trust retirees a free exam and glasses each year. As we filled out our paper work I said something about free and she said all that was paid was the exam we had to pay for our glasses. I stopped my husband from his paper work and said we had a problem. I called Davis Vision as I was under my account and your name came up as being fully paid, which is how I found you. The lady at the desk was frustrated and I get that but she would hit herself in the head and make faces as I spoke to the insurance company. The lady at the desk said you are not a "Tower" store and that all was paid for was the exam and I knew I needed glasses as I had a prescription from getting my cataract surgery in August and needed readers for reading. They told us to let you do the exam and then take the prescription down to Vision Works and let them fill it. I said if I wanted them to do it I would have gone to them and I was there but was not letting you do the exam and then taking paper work to them for the prescription. We are on a fixed income as retirees and the word "benefit" is just that as our benefit we get one free exam and glasses each year. Why would I even go and pay for glasses? I should have been told when I called that you were a tower store and did not cover the glasses and none of this would have happened and we drove a hour to get to you from our location. She was very unprofessional with her faces and antics. Up until then it was a great experience booking the appointment etc.

She has the most amazing analytical approach to making prescriptions, and explaining everything. Never had an eye exam like this in all my life. She was even able to have me try on the lenses she recommended using a modular glasses kit. These were for viewing computer monitors for work, so she had me test it out on her monitor. This is the most advanced setup I have ever seen. She spent triple the amount of time with me than any other eye doctor. Do not go anywhere else!

If you go here, expect to pay significantly more than you ever have for routine eye care. The environment is polished, but you will pay a premium for it.

They sell cheap glasses that easily break and cannot be repaired. It doesn't matter if you tell them the glasses are for a child, they need to be resilient, and of good quality, they will sell you junk. After you return for repairs, they are quick to tell you that parts aren't offered for that model and excited to offer a "25% discount" for a replacement. All of their classes can be purchased online for 30-50% less. There are plenty of other eye doctors, that offer good quality and repairable glasses in Spring Hill. Don't go here.

THE WORST Where do i being:…read more-Did my rx incorrectly, where they typed the rx incorrectly putting my + as - Resulting in completely wrong glasses I took the glasses and went home, felt so weird, went back to the store, so they said Oh.. it must be because we used the target brand of lenses which you didn't get before but they did it anyway without even asking me. They changed it to the brand name and CHARGED me the difference Still with the wrong strength rx Then I suffered for 2 weeks feeling so dizzy and weird Unable to do anything properly since i have bad vision and must wear glasses Until i gave up and went back to ANOTHER store who looked at my history and said that must be wrong And wolahhh.. it was indeed incorrect These people should not be in business In fact, i will file complaints everywhere from BBB to the TN board
