THE WORST Where do i being: -Did my rx incorrectly, where they typed the rx incorrectly putting my + as - Resulting in completely wrong glasses I took the glasses and went home, felt so weird, went back to the store, so they said Oh.. it must be because we used the target brand of lenses which you didn't get before but they did it anyway without even asking me. They changed it to the brand name and CHARGED me the difference Still with the wrong strength rx Then I suffered for 2 weeks feeling so dizzy and weird Unable to do anything properly since i have bad vision and must wear glasses Until i gave up and went back to ANOTHER store who looked at my history and said that must be wrong And wolahhh.. it was indeed incorrect These people should not be in business In fact, i will file complaints everywhere from BBB to the TN board read more

Dr. Morrison is great. The actual office and their systems are terrible however. Their scheduling and confirmation of your appointment is awful. Their policy of canceling your appointment even after you confirm it multiple times simply because you can't stop what you are doing to immediately call them back is one of the worst patient service policies I have seen. And to make it worse, when you show up to your confirmed appointment, Stefanie is rude and not helpful. read more

I had an appointment scheduled for 5/21 at 10. Arrive on time only to be told that , " no you don't" I had my email confirmation- confirming the appt. Also had received a call at 3:01 pm 5/20- mind you- I was working my job- the message confirmed the appointment but told me to call back by 5 pm again during my personal work hours. This gave me less than 2 hours to call them back, never in my 10+ years of being a patient have I ever had to call them "back" I showed my voicemail to Stephanie, who is the manager & told me I didn't have an appt , who also left the voice mail. She rudely tells me she cancelled my appointment bc I did not call back. I have never been treated with such poor customer service and belittled the way this women did to me. They clearly do not need my families business so I will break up with Target Optical after what had been a beautiful relationship. Received the wrong scrip for contacts, which I only discovered after a week of headaches and dizziness. When I called and they admitted the mistake, I was initially told I would not receive a refund because I had accepted them. I was eventually refunded my portion but my insurance was not corrected. A year later, after using a pair of old glasses instead of Target's (newer) scrip, my new provider informed me that that prescription was also incorrect. I knew better, but I favored convenience over proper care. Learn from my mistakes - avoid Target Optical. read more

Worst customer service ever... go to Target Optical in Franklin. Don't mess with this location. Dr Morrison was great, but his staff is completely unhelpful and incompetent. I had an apt scheduled for last week, then called prior to my apt only to be told "oh sorry, we scheduled you too early and your insurance won't cover" I was pretty upset they never called me to reschedule.... However when I called Target Optical in Franklin, they somehow got my insurance to cover my exam... interesting... As stated above, go to Target Optical in Franklin they are much better to work with. read more

Rude customer service and lack of attention to customer details regarding prescription. The person ordering my replacement glasses did not notice astigmatism noted in my records. The prescription was incorrect when it arrived and yet, somehow, it was my fault they had to reorder another pair of glasses. Will not be returning - ever! read more

On Feb. 2020, I order a pair of glassed at Target Optical side in Spring Hill. 2 or 3 weeks later I was unable to use the glasses as one of the screws and one lens felt off. On March, 2020, I went to Target to ask the Optical people to fix my glasses and they were closed. Later I called several times and they did not answer my calls. Finally, on May, 2020 I found that there were open, but the attendant was not able to fixed and suggested to buy another pair of glasses. I also state that they overcharge to customers as they did to me. I would ever use this business again, as an equal pair of glasses cost me 1/2 price on another business. read more

They deserve 0 stars. I've spent thousands of dollars within the Target family, and at least $1,000 in optical. This review is based on their recent garbage service for my wife's contacts ordered on 12/1. They never showed up, and we have to call them to let them know. They say they're lost and they'll send out a new order ASAP. Those never showed up either. We call back AGAIN, and they say the order never went out but they'll send it out. My wife requested some type of credit back due to a massive delay and they said no. Folks, if you're looking for a place with good customer service to do the right thing, shop elsewhere! read more

Amazing Customer Service!! I am from Chicago and came down for the week to visit family. Unpacked my bag and realized that I had forgotten my contacts at home. I called around and nobody cared to help until I found SAMANTHA and this TARGET OPTICAL. WOW...not only did she help me by giving me a trial set that would help me enjoy my vacation, she did his all for free and without making me feel like a dork for forgetting my contacts. Dr. Morrison was extremely polite and helpful. When I had a hard time getting my contacts in and out, he was patient and coached me through it until I felt comfortable. Excellent customer service. Ed at the front was also very kind and made sure I was taken care of even on a busy morning. True level of care at this establishment. I would recommend to anyone who values a pleasant experience.
