I want you to think about this...How long have you been in your current relationship? Now, think about this... As of 2018, I have been Dr. Lori's patient for 32 years. She currently sees three generations of my family (my parents, my wife and me and our children) and we ALL drive nearly an hour to visit her. Why? Aside from having bought hybrids :) we all fee like a part of her family. We feel important to her and the practice. They are truly the type of people that make a person feel welcomed and that they will go the extra mile for you. Frankly though, and most importantly, I trust the practice with the care of my elderly parents and my children. Pros: The customer service was exceptional. Professional, courteous and polite. Cons: I wasn't given any information about my vision correction status. I didn't receive a prescription for glasses. I am not sure how to find out the results? I gather I am to go to the website that is listed on my payment receipt? I wasn't given an option to shop for glasses elsewhere. I understand that the doctor's office is inclined to have my eyeglass business, but I would prefer to shop for specs at a discount store or online where I can save a lot more money. I declined to purchase because of the aforementioned reasons. read more

This was my first visit and I was immediately on the phone with my boyfriend upon leaving telling him that the Dr. Weiss and his team were the best. They were friendly and very helpful. I received a thorough exam and Dr. Weiss explained everything well. I bought my glasses there as well and the lady that assisted me was very helpful with helping me choose the best frames and explaining the price after my insurance was applied. I will definitely be back and will be recommending their office to all my friends and family. read more

Been going to this place for contacts and glasses sence I was a Kid, now I am 46 years old and I have gone to this place for the last time. They now seem more concered with selling you contacts and glassed instead of making sure that you have the right contacts. I have an astigmatisim and they told me on my last eye exam that I no longer have it to a degree where I need special lenses. well come to find out they are wrong and wont correct the issue unless I just pay for a whole new set of lens. also they charge a fitting fee on top of the eye exam. insurance wont cover the fitting fee, I couldnt tell you what they did to charge this fitting fee and I wasnt told about it ahead of time. My advice is to go else where. read more

I saw Dr L Weiss this week. I was so happy with my exam. I felt she was very friendly and covered everything and more in my yearly exam. Dr answered all my questions and even covered a few issues that Drs in the past had not even addressed. The only thing I would say that they could improve on is maybe a bigger selection of glasses. They have plenty but maybe a few more would be great. This wasn't enough to make me score them less than perfect! read more

Overall experience was great but when it came time to pick out my frames I had to wait a long time. Also they had no way of taking the patients in the order of when they were seen. Patients were just standing around and waiting. They should have something like where the patient (after seeing the eye dr) take a number. After finishing with one customer, they should call the next number instead of having people just standing around waiting. Very unprofessional. read more

I have been a patient here for many years. When you first walk in you know this place is top notch. Everything is always clean and organized. The girls in the glasses section, as well as the staff behind the desk, are always smiling and so friendly, they make you feel part of their family there. They are also very helpful in lending their opinion in helping, (guys like me), new frames that look good. I disagree with Margie, to a degree, because people are seen in the order they come in there, (the honor system). But I do agree with the "Take a Number" idea. There are only so many staff members in there, and they do their best. As far as the doctors go, I can't begin to say how much I love Dr. Lori Weiss, she is ALWAYS, ALWAYS greeting you with a huge smile and she is so good with children. My entire family love the Dickson Eyehealth Center. So if you are looking for a great place for your optometry needs, look no more. Tell them Michael G. sent you.
