I had two pair of glasses that needed new frames. The old frames were bent and broken but the lenses were fine. I just needed the lenses transferred. They were very helpful in this regard and accommodated my request quickly. Much appreciated! read more

I've been a patient for several years and have not had any issues until this past year. I had an appt on 7/20/2023 for an exam - 2 weeks prior to giving birth to my child. I have terrible vision (-12.5) and contacts and/or glasses are necessary for me. I checked back in with them in November when I hadn't heard anything. They told me my claim hadn't been approved. I checked in again in December, and still the same excuse. So at this point, it was 5 months post appt and no contacts, no glasses. I didn't get my contacts until mid January and my glasses until February. They told me my insurance carrier only had 1 person reviewing claims like mine. Well, this past week, I discovered that no claims were even filed until November (exam claim), Dec (contacts claimi), and January (glasses claim). So, a 6 month delay in getting medically necessary contacts because they didn't file a claim. They lied to me - there's no other excuse. They lied and tried to cover it up. I am so let down. read more

I have been a patient at this business for the past 12 years and I have always had the best customer service possible. My last visit 02/13/22 my service started on time with my appointment. Sarah the front assistant was GREAT!!! Very professional and efficient with my time. Dr. Carr is a great eye doctor. I feel that I had a very all aspect eye exam and once again my time was valued. Deidre was the finale service provider and handled my contact lens order in a very fast and efficient manner. I Had my appointment on a Wednesday and received my contact order on my front door step Saturday. (That's just as fast as Amazon.) I highly recommend this business to anyone for eye care needs. read more

I changed doctors this year and decided to go to Accessor Eyes. The office was very modern and clean environment in between my work and home. To start off with your greater Ms. Adrain is very professional as well as very sweet. Then meeting Dr. Norris she was very through with me and my visit. I got to met Ms. Christy at the time of my visit. She is just the sweetest thing and professional as well. We had an issue to come up and they handled this situation very professionally by showing me with up most respect and caring people. Let's just say next year I will be seeing Dr. Norris. Thank you, everyone, for your patience and very well yearly eye exam. Until next time. read more

I'd like to first say I blame myself for not switching eye doctors years ago. I've had many different issues with this group but sheer laziness and convenience won every time. All that said, I'm officially done. They have fooled me one too many times. Things that they do that are frustrating include: 1. Pushing their contacts/glasses even if you just want the prescription (sometimes they won't even give you the prescription - I've had to all but beg before). 2. Add random things to your bill like "contact fitting" even when you've been wearing the same contact brand for a solid decade and no fitting ever takes place. 3. One time I called to get my prescription emailed to me and they said "well you're due in a few weeks for a new prescription so you need to make an appointment and update before you order new contacts". Instead of arguing yet again, I agreed and guess what - my prescription didn't change 4. One time when I arrived to my appointment they informed me that I needed to get my eyes dilated and shouldn't drive for at least an hour (not an option when I have things to do!) but then "conveniently" offered me a $50 test that does the same thing but doesn't require dilation. Instead of letting me know before my appointment so I can plan accordingly. Smells like bad business to me. I could seriously go on and on. But I shall spare you. The people are very nice and that is why they get two stars but they do not have your best interest in mind. read more

This place makes you feel like a human! The staff was super friendly, helpful, thorough, personable, knowledgeable, and patient with me (Jessica, Dr. Carr, and the owner, Deirdre). They answered all of my questions and didn't make me feel rushed whatsoever. The office is clean and updated as well. A++ experience! Highly recommend this place! read more

I think there are some great deals with those daily coupons.. I like to get eye exams, massages, car repair, teeth cleaned.. whatever I can do in my life to make it a little more affordable. With that being said, I have gotten three daily coupons for eye exams. Three exams in Nashville in three years.. Three different prescriptions!!! Whatever you do, don't believe that one eye exam is enough when you get three different doctors with three different outcomes!! I liked this doctor because she was so thorough and engaging.. She was explicit with her exams, checking everything and she also recommended that I get a pressure test from an ophthalmologist.. None of the other doctors suggested that. I will return to her. Out of the three I have reviewed, she is by far the best and thorough, and Lord knows, we can't replace our eyes!!! read more

Wow all 5 star ratings including me she slayed it! Love the fact that they were open late and was located in the Gulch area. The store was designed well, love the chandelier. Nice selection of frames like Tom Ford also the waiting area even had wine. Staff was very helpful w/frame recommendations or finding the frames I wanted, he also fixed my glasses :) Dr. Norris is an expert in her field and has great bedside manner in a trendy clinical setting. She did something no other doctor of optometry did, show me the 3d anatomy of my eye. Also I ordered some contacts but didn't like them a week later ... when the order came in I was willing to keep them, but she wasn't having that, her concern was about my comfort. The other brand she recommended worked out great & she gave me a sample of some new contact solution that worked half the time of my usual brand. read more

I knew there are new owners since the last review was written so I wanted to give an updated review. I bought one of the Groupon/Living Social deals because it's been 10 years since I bought a new pair of glasses and def needed an updated style and also needed more contacts and to make sure my Rx was up to date. Sometimes with the group coupon deals, you get treated like a bother or second-rate customer but that wasn't the case at all. There are two ladies that run everything and they split up tasks nicely. One runs the front, helps with all the glass wear, sunglasses, etc. The other is the optometrist and also helps with the contacts and prescriptions. They were both so kind and helpful. I had my newborn with me and they were very accommodating and understanding when I needed to take a break from my exam to feed and do diaper changes. They were also very helpful and patient as I tried on nearly every pair of glasses they offer and they gave me their opinions when I asked as I narrowed down my choices. They also told me that they had recently run a special that had a greater discount than the one they'd offered with the Groupon I purchased and that they would happily apply it to my order. How nice! They have a great selection of frames from popular brands (Coach, Kate Spade, etc.). They gave me several pair of trial lenses in my prescription to take home and try for a few weeks to see which brand/style felt better and worked better for me. They couldn't have been nicer or more helpful! I've found my place for all my vision needs and I will be back! read more

I had a truly exceptional experience at Accessoreyes. It is rare that an experience at the optometrist is so attentive, welcoming, informative, and comfortable all while being both stylish and dapper. Dr. Rebecca Norris is truly an expert at her craft. She really understands the human eye and does an amazing job of explaining what she knows in plain English. Kipp was also excellent in helping me choose frames that were stylish and fit my face shape. His fashion advice was reliable and trustworthy. Finally, when I first got my glasses, the prescription wasn't quite right, but Dr. Norris and Kipp went above and beyond to make things right. I had a truly exceptional experience. For my money, there's no one else in Nashville to whom I'd rather go. They've earned my long term business. read more

I wanted to give Visionairy Eyeworks a great review they always go above and beyond! It took them a couple of times to perfect which contacts we should go with for my stigmatizem but it was not a big deal and always gave me samples to get it right! I also recommended them to my friend who had just ran out of contacts and they did a great job getting him Samples until his next order came in! I am having difficulty working due to poor eyesight, our office was remodeled and the lighting is very bright which my eyes are sensitive to. I scheduled an appointment for my eye exam at Visionary Eyeworks, a place I have went to for years, but there is a new doctor. I needed a note to take to work from the eye doctor stating the light sensitivity and that I had a new prescription (stronger) for glasses. THAT IS ALL, but she was not willing to write the note after seeing me, knowing my sensitivity to the lights, I just needed the note to move my desk away from the direct lighting. No more, no less. After going back and forth I finally got a generic note written. I did go ahead and order my glasses, but when they come in.....I will never return to Visionary Eyeworks again. read more

I changed insurance and couldn't go to my regular optometrist without additional paperwork so opted to be a new patient at Accessoreyes to make it easy on me. I like to support local businesses and it's in a great neighborhood so felt I couldn't go wrong. My initial experience was great- turned out I had a common connection with the manager. He was very helpful in picking out frames. Then the experience became disjointed. I assume there is a lack in internal communication. This resulted in 3 unnecessary trips in to the shop for various reasons (I will spare you a lengthy story). I understand people make mistakes and I am so thankful of patient people when I myself make them, but by the third visit and interaction with someone who wasn't in tune with anything the manager or optometrist had previously communicated to me, I became frustrated and embarrassed to challenge him. I emailed the manager as a courtesy vs a knee jerk Yelp review at the time. I have to commend him; he emailed me back while on his vacation and made a generous offer to help cover my copay and small remaining balance to make up for the experience - I felt he really wanted to make it right and I even felt a bit silly as maybe I was being overly sensitive. I even thought his offer was more generous than I felt totally comfortable with. I thanked him for his response and asked him to enjoy his vacation, not to stress and that I was in no rush, just wanted the next trip to be pleasant and productive. He emailed me to let me know my glasses had arrived for final pick up and I responded that I would be by this week to pick them up. When I arrived for pick up, he was not there, but the person who on the previous three visits was and offered to help but didn't seem to have the information I was given again. Not one to ask for things for specially discounted, I approached the check out not to run out the door with the glasses. Good thing I didn't; I would have been embarrassed; I was presented a balance to pay. While not a huge balance, it was again not what I was told previously. Exhausted by the experience, and to spare myself the conversation and experience of others who were in the store being helped, I politely made conversation, paid my balance and after this average review will make peace with my once a year trip to the eye doctor. I really think they wanted to do the right thing, just didn't do it seamlessly nor successfully. read more

AccessorEyes is awesome! It is such an adorable office and really patient centered! Dr. Norris does everything she can to make sure her patients are happy and satisfied. I personally was having problems with my contacts and she continued to give me different pairs of contacts to try until I found one that I liked! I have been wearing glasses for over 15 years and have not found a better Doctor than her. I would definitely recommend Accessoreyes to anyone in search of an eye doctor! read more

Dr. Norris has such a beautiful office! She portrays such a personable, yet extremely professional and thorough way of working with her patients. I am a huge fan! Dr. Norris literally changed my life. Since I was a kid, I have been legally blind in my right eye. Because of my vision problems, I have been to scores of Optometrists over a 30 year time period. Doctor after doctor told me that I would never have any improvement in my vision. When I went to Dr. Norris, she immediately recognized that something could be done to help me. Because of her referral to Dr. Ming Wang, I had laser eye surgery & a lens implant that has improved the vision in my right eye by 30-40%. It is amazing! She is caring and really strives to go above and beyond to help people. My family and I will be her patients for life! read more

I had an accident with my glasses while in Nashville on vacation. I went to this AccessorEyes location in the Gulch neighborhood because I could walk there from my hotel. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. Patrick was very generous to take a good 15-20 minutes to fix my bent rims and replace the lens as best he could. He did not ask for any compensation, and politely said "no thank you" when I offered. So I will say thank you again to Patrick and everyone at AccessorEyes! read more

Now I must say I honestly have not been seen by the doctors here but I want to praise them for their amazing customer service. Dr. Norris is great! I decided to schedule an appointment on a whim because I was experiencing headaches and wanted an exam to see if my prescription changed. I have been having these headaches and other symptoms for almost three years now and I am finally getting to the bottom of it thanks to her! It is such a relief! Avoid this business. Not friendly. The first person that I saw when I arrived, said nothing. Not professional. Appointment was for 10am and at 10:20 I was still sitting in the empty waiting area. The other front desk receptionist that is responsible for health insurance is a badger. You can tell her that you'll pay for the eye exam and everything else out of pocket, and she reprimands you for not being an expert insurance. Their selection of frames is dismal. The phone doesn't ring, they don't appear to have much business. I'm not going back, going to Lenscrafters or any other place. read more
