iced "Lavender" latte (the robot forgot the lavender)

I always knew of this robot barista coffee spot but never tried it until now. You pretty much order at the tablet or you can scan the QR code and order ahead. It's definitely worth a try for the first time. Note to definitely stir your drinks afterward (the left side has the lids and straws/stirrer, etc)!!! It's cool entertainment and this definitely marked my first ever robot coffee drink. Pricing was about $6.50, which isn't too bad for standard cafes and their pricing. Hidden gem on the corner of California and Brand. This tiny grab and go coffee spot is known for its unique drinks. Service was quick and friendly. There's no indoor seating, but parking is easy nearby. If you're into trying unique coffee drinks, this spot is worth checking out. We ordered the cold brew with the Cantina cream top and an iced vanilla latte. Regent uses whiskey or bourbon barrels to age the beans. I didn't realize until after and ordered the Cantina cream top (which I was not prepared to drink @8 am). I did feel like the vanilla latte was a bit watered down.

Hmmm...What to say... After reading several reviews on Yelp, I decided to check this place out. The drink menu is limited and most cold drinks come in 8 oz. (Really? so small and so expensive) The 12 oz size for cold drinks are also limited and pricey. With that said, I was already sorry I had come here and thrown on what to order. I thought I had ordered the Cold Brew with Vanilla and cold foam but sadly I was wrong...I got what looked like a 12 oz cup of milk for $9! If you know anything about me, you know I like strong coffee and do not like milky looking coffee...So, this girl was not happy. My sister ordered an ice coffee which came in the "mini me" size for $8! Very over priced coffee here...I won't be back...but that's just my take... *ONLY A FEW TABLES - out front on the sidewalk *METER PARKING - only

A hidden gem on the Southwest corner of California & Brand. This little hole-in-the-wall spot may only have 4 outdoor tables, but it delivers one of the most unique coffee experiences I've ever had. Their variety of roasts is impressive...including barrel-aged coffee, which I can't believe I'd never tried before. Barrel-aged bourbon/rum/whiskey/wine/etc.? Sure. But barrel-aged coffee? Game changer. We tried the Bourbon Tiramisu Dream and the Yuzu Matcha Cream Top. The BTD was absolutely amazing. The espresso's barrel-aged character gave it this nonalcoholic bourbon essence that took it over the top. The Yuzu Matcha Cream Top was just as impressive, made with house-made yuzu syrup and a light elderberry cream that tasted incredible. A couple well-crafted drinks. Definitely planning to come back and try more of their offerings. If you're into coffee that's a little out of the ordinary, this place is a must.

Disappointed in the milk options. Only whole milk for a dairy option, no skim or nonfat. If you don't mind the calorie count, you might like this place. Most people seem to love the heavier items they carry like whole milk tiramisu latte thats a cream top, rich pastries and banana pudding, but wish there were some variety. They also seem kinda short staffed. Coffee quality is decent and the shop is cute. Not really a place to hang out as there's no real seating in case that's what you're looking for.

I Like Coffee Because It Gives Me The Illusion That I Might Be Good At Giving Reviews. That said let's begin this roaster review. Regent Coffee is a local coffee roaster that produce exceptional quality drinks. They are located on Brand ave in Glendale. They have coffee and tea drinks as well as specialties. Similarly, they offer a limited pastries. Indoor seats are nonexistent albeit they have front outdoor seats with a fantastic street view. We came on a warm-98 degree-afternoon to quench our thirst. We were perfunctorily greeted by a tall female (with pink highlight hair) staff. I perused their menu and ordered a Burundi Cold Brew ($7.50) x 1/2 & 1/2 milk. I was desirous of having refreshing drink at this shop, and they did not disappoint. My CB was really smooth, full, and perfectly sweetened with slight hint of Mango fruit. Prices matched the quality of their coffee drinks. Service was good. Staff were affable with compendious knowledge of coffee making. Vibe was positive. Overall, as a first time customer I liked my cold brew and had a pleasant order experience. I highly recommend you visit.

Second time coming here, it is has the small coffee shop feel as its not super big inside but I like how its mostly dedicated for the making of coffee. The barista that was taking our order seemed to be tired or did not offer any suggestions or ask if we needed any recommendations when we were looking at the menu for a while. Didn't feel welcoming. I felt the lobby area to be less upscale than i remember. The neon board is not lit. The wall with the text before used to be a big menu with the letters, it felt a bit empty with just the phrase on there. I got the Lavander Latte with oatmilk. It tasted great, no complaints with the coffee. Overall good coffee, but the service and lobby can use some improvement, as the coffee is not cheap, theres lots of coffee shops around to choose from.

Dropped by Regent Coffee in Glendale with my good friend. If memory serves, this coffee shop has been here for many years. It seems that they have remodeled. The inside is mostly for coffee roasting and brewing coffee drinks. Only aboit 25% of the store at the front is space for ordering drinks and to browse postings / flyers / communications from the community. I wish there was inside seating. Still, the store is charming, clean, and gives you the sense that they take coffee seriously - a desirable quality for dedicated coffee connoisseurs. The staff person helping us was friendly, making helpful suggestions as we perused their menu. Since it was hot, my friend and I were wanting a refreshing drink. The store offered a specialty barrel-aged espresso tonic with lavender syrup. They also had a fizzy (sparkling water) americano with yuzu syrup. It was my friend's first time trying an espresso tonic so we ended up customizing our own drinks: classic espresso tonic (tonic water) with yuzu syrup. Our drinks were perfect: good espresso that was rich in flavor, perfect hint of bitterness, offset by the sweetness of the tonic water and the bright citrus from the yuzu. They also had some pretty tasty looking pastry options which I skipped this time around. I'll be back again for sure.

I had the maple latte and tried the bourbon cold brew. The bourbon cold brew was quite tasty, its strong and you can definitely taste that alcohol-y twist while keeping it non-alcoholic. The maple latte was just okay in my opinion, the espresso tasted quite good but I couldn't stand quite taste the maple. Although there were other people working at the shop, it was one person taking the orders and making the drinks when we walked in. We had to wait about 15- 20 minutes for our order to be taken/order to be ready. Afterwards there was a long line behind us. There really isn't any place to sit inside but there are some tables outside.

Really cute coffee shop in Glendale, close to the Orange Street parking structure. It's very small inside with no indoor seating, so it's more of a grab-and-go cafe than somewhere to sit and hang out. The Bourbon Tiramisu Dream was a little pricey at $8 but very delicious, I can tell that the ingredients and coffee beans are high quality. I would recommend trying their drinks, especially if you care a lot about unique coffee beans/blends.

We decides to stop by Regent Coffee after picking up Portos. Regent is a cute little coffee shop that serves pastries and drinks. I decided to try the Yuzu matcha and i was surprised by how much I enjoyed it! The Yuzu was very citrusy and light and the drink was not sweet at all, which is something I prefer. My housemate also agreed that the drink was very light and refreshing! The matcha wasn't very strong but I didn't mind it. Definitely a must try if you like yuzu!

Arrived around 12:45pm on the weekend and it was not too busy. I ventured out and tried something totally new which was the Iced Celestial Oolong Cream Top and it was one of my favorite sweet drinks. It was so smooth and not too sweet. I just wish it came in a larger size for what I paid for cuz it was gone in no time. Hipster ambiance with no indoor seating unfortunately. They have a few small tables outside. Would order from here again. Service is very fast.

Now, I never write reviews, good or bad, but this place is one of the few places that I think really is worth coming and trying. The coffee is delicious and made with care, the staff is incredibly friendly, Leon is a wonderful guy, though he can be a little hard to understand at times, you can tell how much effort and love he puts into the coffee here. The pastries that I've tried are also very good, not too sweet. Honestly speaking this place is probably my favorite in California, it's got a nice interior aesthetic as well if your into that sort of thing. Very relaxing place. I come anytime I'm in Glendale read more

Although the prices are relatively high for a cup of coffee (a whopping 6 dollars for mine), the delicious blend of their roasted blended of coffee with almond milk and a touch of vanilla made my experience heavenly. The service is wonderful, the owner Leon is very personable and his wife makes the cutest little red bean sweets and toffee candy (my favorite); they've been offering them for free, which adds a nice homey touch to this new establishment. I plan to visit more often now that I've found a place that actually serves GOOD coffee close to my workplace. read more

Popped in for the first time today. I ordered a latte and my friend got a chai latte. We both thought our drinks were very smooth - no bitterness, very pleasant to drink. We sat at a table for about 20 minutes. Fun to see all the specialty coffee equipment around the space - especially the Kyoto cold brew station. Courteous customer service and nice, calm ambience with clean tables. It's a cute addition to Glendale, at corner of Brand/California, right next door to Menchie's froyo. read more

Stopped by here on our way through LA & loved it. Baristas we're both so friendly and our Lattes were very good. Love the atmosphere and decor. It's modern yet very inviting feel with warm homey touches sets it a part from most third wave roasters. Little on the higher side for price once you add in flavor & substitute milk, but worth it for the quality. If I lived in the area definitely would come by again. Great coffee, great service. Mocha is great. One weird thing is that the logo looks EXACTLY like a runny nose. Management: please consider changing this logo. I heard some customers on Brand talking about it and I couldn't agree more. That dripping nose is bad for business and I want all Glendale businesses to succeed! read more

I had the whiskey barrel infused coffee latte and didn't expect much. But wow, it really tasted like whiskey. If you are a whiskey fan, definitely try the whiskey barrel infused coffees. It's not like you'll get drunk or anything, but the essence of whiskey flavor is definitely in the coffee. It is a bit expensive, but whatever, it's a unique taste that is actually true to what is advertised. I'd definitely get it again or try another drink. read more

Love the vibe of the shop and the people. The guy who took my order answered all my questions without hesitation. The coffee is unpretentious and the cookie was a house made recipe. Parking was easy on Brand, but not free ($1.50/hour). Apparently their cold brew is concentrated, which makes it better--all I know is it was yummy! Ps they charge extra for almond milk ($0.50). read more

I ordered the nitro cold brew and I am now confused as to what their definition of "nitro" cold brew is. Every coffee shop that I have been to offers nitro cold brew through tap hence, the "nitro" or nitrogen infusion. At Regent, I was given their "nitro cold brew" from a pitcher. No cascade of foam, no smoothness, and served over ice. I was most likely served a cold brew which is fine, but not what I paid for. If this business is going to offer nitro cold brew, have a keg fridge on site, and charge $5, then I would hope they get the concept right. Silver lining is, the service seemed genuine and kind. read more

Came in Friday morning before work to grab a latte and there were a few other people there, but it wasn't busy and the wait wasn't long. I got a vanilla latte with almond milk, which I really enjoyed! The barista was friendly and quick. My only complaint was that it was a smidge overpriced for such a small drink, but that's kind of to be expected from these "boujie" types of cafes. Will definitely be coming back now that there's finally a good coffee joint so close to work! read more

Great coffee. Weird hours. No crepe with your coffe if you come too early... Small place with limited seatinf, yet an employees kid is always taking up the best large table out front... (don't mean to be rude, but this is a cultiral thing where it is OK for owners and/or management to occupy a table at the business.) Plz re-organize your back section, get tighty and offer more seating for clients. read more

Espresso was super flavorful! I usually drink decaf, and at most places it tends to be stale, or burnt, but the espresso here was really good. I will definitely be back, and highly recommend. Friendly staff, and good stuff :) read more

If you're in the area stop by.... omg such delicious coffee and great atmosphere. We went here the morning after our wedding since we were staying in town and forgot how exhausted we were. We literally enjoyed the coffee and environment so much we hung out for a few hours just chatting about our event. Coffee is delicious! I got an almond iced latte. read more

Just moved to Glendale and I've been on the hunt for a go-to coffee shop and I think I might have just found it! The regular cold brew was very acidic which is expected from cold brews but the flavor was absolutely on point. Very friendly, down to earth staff. These are the kinds of coffee shops that we need to keep. Oh and the Avocado toast is pretty unreal! Very good overall, will probably be back tomorrow :) read more

Love this place! Glendale doesn't have too many high quality coffee shops so I was very pleased I came across this place. The owner roasted his own bean which are for sale in store. If you buy a bag you receive a cup of coffee to go or for here which is a cute pour over. I bought a bag of their medium roast and very much enjoyed the blend. If you're really into coffee and you haven't tried regent, I definitely urge you to! read more

Best coffee and best avocado toast in all of Glendale. They know their coffee. I am a coffee nutcase. When I'm traveling I always like to find the best flat white latte. Im glad to have found a coffee shop perfect for my needs. Its I would've taken a picture of my avocado toast but it's all gone now. Its on a flax seed toast, with avocado, roasted tomatoes, sprouts, chili paste, cracked pepper and sea salt sprinkled on top. Soooo goood. read more

Here go another 5 stars because I'm not going to mess up a good thing. My friend and I met here as I sometimes enjoy unnecessarily pretentious coffee joints and she lives in NoHo but had a meeting in the area, so this seemed an ideal spot to meet in between. I was pleasantly (and gratefully) surprised on all fronts, from easy parking out front to the empty cafe I walked into, to the delicious jar of caffeine I enjoyed later. I was greeted by who I think was the owner and his wife, who were lovely and gave me some options for what I wanted. I settled on an iced latte and a croissant, and sat myself down by the window. The coffee was delicious as was the pastry. This place is the perfect marrying of good coffee and good ambiance without the pretension. What our corner of the world could use more of, in my opinion. I was reminded of the importance of supporting great small businesses like this one. As the hour passed, people trickled in for their morning dose, and it was nice to see the place come to life. I plan to make it back here if it means I can take out from Porto's afterward, as I did last Sunday. Regent, I'll see you very soon! read more

I've been drinking coffee for a long time, but I have never actually researched all the intricacies of it. This place made me want to do just that because they know their coffee. Not only is it great, but they have professional baristas and a great selection of different types of coffee. The vanilla cappuccino I ordered was unlike any I've had before. I'm literally shocked by the customer service and the quality of the drinks of this place! Me and my friend got 2 matcha lattes, it tasted disgusting, if you're matcha lover you should know that hot matcha tastes "fishy" only if the matcha powder is low cheap quality! We asked to exchange our drinks for something else as we paid $12 for drinks that tasted disgusting, they refused to exchange, we didn't ask for refund we just asked to exchange and they told us that they can give us 50% off for our next drink? Are you serious? Who does that? Instead of trying to retain customers and make the customer happy they were super rude and refused to exchange that disgusting drink! I love this place! We moved to Glendale last year and there are so many cute coffee shops in the area! This one in my favorite by far! It is family owned, they make great quality coffee, the food is simple and delicious. The avocado toast is less than $10! They do what they are good at, no need for rainbow coffees and overpriced toasts and bagels. read more

I strolled in late at night post-Menchie's, wanting just to check out the place since I'd been driving by for awhile. I met the kind owner (Leon), who had me sample (just a few sips) of different coffees at the counter. I had always thought that lighter roasts are acidic, but he showed me that that is not the case... and I can enjoy a lighter roast (though I still prefer darker). The darker roast I tried was delicious, and I'm excited to go back - they're planning to have tastings and they also offer ceremonial teaaa!!! Love love love that. read more

I love this place! They recently implemented an art gallery from a coveted LA artist so not only can you enjoy a nitrogen injected cold brew, you can check out DTLA's finest art! This business also has a great service and food quality. They resource beans directly from farm to specialty coffee. They also roast the beans directly in their location and focus on the microclimate that the region that grows the be in. An extremely high focus on the quality brings this business to the highest levels of success that I can see. Leon is a knowledgeable owner who I got a good chance to speak to. Today I decided to stop by Regent Coffee bar, a place I used frequent before the pandemic to pickup a nitro cold brew. They have change some things since then such as only being able to order from the doorway using a contactless payment method and integrating an online order solution with a pickup near the door similar to starbucks. I don't care much for hot coffee so I did not try any of their options. For cold coffee and cold brew, they had two options which were unavailable and the one which was I didn't like the taste of. I've been coming here for two years. This is one the the best coffee shots in Glendale. Coffee is delicious. Service is great. The interior design is cool, too. There;s a bathroom in the back, so if you don't see it just ask the staff. Street parking is available or you can just park in the Porto's parking lot. Make sure to get there before 5pm as they close this soon. Most of the coffee shops do so though. read more
