By far the best massages I've ever had. I've had massages at fancy hotels and spas but the massage therapists at Reflexion Spa are the BEST and so intuitive. I've probably had over 50 massages here and 99% of them have been outstanding. I also highly recommend the cupping. I had persistent migraines that my physical therapist's cupping did not help. But once I had cupping done here, the migraines completely went away for weeks. I can't recommend this place enough! read more

Ooh my gosh, I've had my fair share of massages, from all types of places, and these are some of the best. I came here on a lark, because they did a couples massage for a reasonable price. My husband and I were skeptical walking in. The setting was relaxing, and the therapists were nice. We both left floating on air. We've been back twice more for couples massages, and we've each come alone a few times for massages as well. He's not even a "massage person", it's just THAT good. I've had the acupuncture: good but not great. I ask for Tinna for massages, and I'm never disappointed. That tiny woman will WORK, hopping up on the table, kneeling on you, walking on you. Someone in another post stated that they were apprehensive about leaving a review because they want to keep this place a secret, i feel the exact same way! Came here for a couples massage with my wife, they give a phenomenal massage, hot stones, walk on your back, shower, and a bunch of other stuff. I'm a novice and not into super deep massages but my wife is and both our massages were just right. Super professional and mindful. I would also suggest adding on the foot/hand scrub massage, definitely worth the additional cost. They also have deals for couples on Saturdays as well as other deals. I got my first acupuncture treatment here. I came in with lower back pain and left feeling very rejuvenated. The doctor was very professional and gave me some really good tips that I still use. The acupuncture itself was very good. He focused on my problem area with the needle, and after 30 minutes or so he took them out and messaged out my tension spots. It did hurt in some spots, but that meant he knew exactly where to focus in on. After I was done with my treatment I waited for my boyfriend to be done with his. I sat and chatted with the owner for a bit. She is such a sweetheart. I felt kind of weird afterwards...like an electric shock coming over my body. Never experienced anything like it. Owner told me it is completely normal. Overall, this was a great experience. Salon is really clean and tranquil. Plus they have Groupons available all the time. If I lived closer I would be here on bi-weekly basis. read more

I've been here a few times now and the massages are great, depending on who you get. I really like Jenny & Lily. Maria, not so much. If you have a specific problem area, they are very good at working on it. As a singer, I was having some neck tension which was affecting my voice and Jenny did an amazing job on it. Same with my calves and thighs that had become very tight from long periods of sitting. I was really sore the next day, but great, two days later. It's best to book your appointment on line. You can also select WHO you want online as well. They're also as accommodating as possible in changing appointments if you give them enough time. This was an awesome stop during a long flight delay in Chicago - I called and got an appointment for same day 90m Swedish - I was treated quickly and kindly by the staff and Rose (my masseuse) was a dream. She asked if I was comfortable and about the pressure and never made me feel uncomfortable or rushed. That 90m felt like 3 hours, and after a long day of walking, I felt great head to toe (literally head to toes). The interior was bright and clean - so clean I could smell it! COSMETIC ACUPUNCTURE -- the best in Chicago at an excellent price. Tzu Wen combines Gua Sha and Acupressure after Acupuncture. To avoid bruises, take Arnica before treatment. The first treatment raised my sinking undereye immediately. The super thin needles are inserted deeper than the shallow application. In a series of treatments, needles are applied in different points. SHAOLIN -- the petite therapist gives the most effective 15 minute neck and shoulder massage. TJ -- my new monthly hobby. I have been three times now with a different massage therapist for each appointment but my last one with Rose was the best so far! I let them know ahead of time that I was coming in due to chronic tightness of one shoulder and Rose made sure to address it. She did a full body massage but at the very end had me sit up so she could focus on the problem area for about 5 mins. This is the most relief I've had since the onset of the issue 6 months ago - and I've had several massages at various places since then. I would definitely make another appointment with her! My only complaint about the place in general is that the music can be a little strange at times and you can hear people walking in the hallway which both can be distracting, although eventually it faded into the background the more relaxed I became. Great service and great price! Came here for a couples massage on our day off and saw Jenny and Jessica. We both thought our massages were great- enough pressure and not too much. They both seemed to know exactly what we needed and we both felt feeling relaxed with all the kinks worked out. My personal standard of care dictates that I get a massage at least once per month and must also be reasonably priced and a quality experience. Well I found that on my visit to Reflexion Spa last week 8/7/2013. If you have to experience Asian style bodywork I highly recommend you book your appointment immediately. What I liked about my experience location was easy to find w/ ample street parking. The cost was reasonable for the location. The reception was warm & thorough not a lot of fluff. The facilities décor is modern but warm & inviting I felt relaxed immediately. The massage was very easily one of the best I've had this year. It was a combination between a traditional Swedish massage & Thai bodywork all rolled in one. The pressure was firm but didn't make me squirm or ask the therapist to modify her touch/pressure. I particularly appreciated what I called the stretching of my lower extremities that are often tight. Much to my surprise I was relaxed for the entire experience to the point of falling asleep at times. Also, you have the option of taking a shower at the facility before/after your service. I opted for after an all I can say is made or a perfect nights sleep. Oh!!! the 4stars was only because I'm a South sider so I have to travel but it's really a 5star business. read more

Tinna was Amazing, Patient, and Responsive to what my issues were and did an excellent job. You know it's good when you leave in a daze :) I know it will not be three months between visits this time. Only regret (My Fault): I thought I was paying $60 for a one hour massage and walked in the door with $80. I feel like this place is Chicago's best kept secret... when I googled places to get a massage in Chicago this location didn't come up at all, and I found it by compete chance when someone recommended it to me. I looked up the reviews and saw they were rated very highly, so I gave it a shot! I booked with Tinna and she was amazing! Very kind and not too rough for my first time haha. She worked on every part of my body very thoroughly and when she brought out the hot stones I thought I was going to melt right in to the table... The atmosphere is wonderful too. Darkened cozy rooms with soft music and a very comfy table. I was also given water before and after my session. The prices are very reasonable too, especially for the quality of the services. I had a session that lasted a little over two hours and by the time I was finished I couldn't believe I'd been there that long. I was so relaxed and in the zone. I have had some horrible pain in my neck and shoulders, I could feel a big knot that was bogging me down and giving me headaches. I will warn you : when Jenny says she's strong, she means it. She's stronger and applies more pressure than any other massage therapist I've ever had - and that's a GOOD THING! This is not for the faint of heart - but if you have chronic pain, knots, headaches, etc, she will get you back to new and refreshed. She is truly amazing. Wish I could give 4.5 stars. Vicki just kicked my butt during my Swedish massage and in a very GOOD way. She know what she is doing and understands the body! She found all my knots and worked them out with full intention of making me feel great! She even straddled me at one point to get enough leverage and strength to get at the problem spots. Amazing!! Why 4/4.5 stars? This is a no frills place. No robe change, no cup of tea prior, no foot bath etc. They have plenty of water bottles and yummy gummy candies to replenish before and after you massage. They were running late and were very apologetic. You don't get plush slippers- you get sandals that are community. Keep your socks on! Also be pretty comfortable being naked- you may find yourself completely bare a few times on the table. I'm fine with it- but heads up. Also they charge a $3 credit card processing fee. Meh. The price is a fabulous value and they have specials so some minor things being ok we're fine with me. I already know I'm going to be a regular! read more

Nora gave me a deep tissue, but her technique fit precisely what I needed: medium pressure, long sweeping strokes and muscle kneading (which helps with specific areas). My husband and I just left our couples massage we booked this afternoon for our 3 year wedding anniversary and it was out of this WORLD. Everything and everyone working at this establishment is clean, professional and extremely good at what they do. I had my massage with Nora who was an absolute angel - she relieved all the tension I was carrying in my shoulders and lower back like it was nothing, which is something I've had yet to find anywhere else in the city. this was a mediocre, perfunctory massage. I had better the last time I came here last year. She did not complete the moves; she left things half done. It felt incomplete. The music was "elevator" music. Not the right pace to relax. I have regular massage in California, Taiwan, and Hanoi Vietnam. This by far was the most mediocre, expensive .
