4.5 stars Cute, cozy cafe with an earthy interior. Simple menu with some brunch and lunch items. The vegetarian biscuits & gravy ($13.5) were excellent. The latte was very tart. Also had a bite of one of the pastries (orange roll) and it was flakey and delightful!

Today was my first visit to Seward Park in many years. I had a "long drive" (stop and go traffic) and needed to take my four dogs for a walk. I was exhausted and knew I'd need a cup of coffee for my drive back home! As I attempted to look through the window with my active pups in tow, I realized quickly there was no where to safely secure the pups and go inside to grab some coffee. When I was about to walk back to my car, one of the incredible Barista/cook/employee/owner ... stepped out and offered to take my order for me!!! I was so impressed by this and his kindness and service! He went above and beyond when he noticed my struggle! Coffee and dogs and chaos! He took my order and I gave him my credit card. He made everything so easy and I truly appreciate it! His compassion and understanding helped this tired Momma make it back home with some extra energy from a yummy drink!! I highly recommend "Red Wing" coffee house/vegetarian cafe to everyone! Thank you for being so kind and the barista who brought my drinks out ... Thank you and thank you for being so helpful and understanding with my pups! I could tell this place would be a wonderful spot to talk with friends and eat a yummy meal! I'll come back another time and leave the pups at home.

I ordered the Rainer Beach Breakfast and a vanilla latte. My meal was very delicious and you can taste the freshness. I love a good vegan/GF restaurant. Services was good and great. I will definitely be back. This is the perfect spot for a light breakfast with a lot of flavor. One thing I do enjoy on my potatoes that they didn't have was syrup(pancake syrup). Usually I have to have it to go with my potatoes but the toast w/jam went perfectly with it! Great cute spacious spot! It has a upstairs and downstairs!

Perfect location near my stylist shop. Early morning appointments this is the perfect vegan options. Vegan biscuits and gravy were really good. The avocado toast was also amazing too. My husband had the non-vegan breakfast he also enjoyed. Parking can get full around the area. Will try more menu items next time.

delicious food, kind staff, and was within walking distance from our Airbnb. It wasn't too busy but had a steady stream of customers, and the baked goods looked and smelled divine. also gluten free and vegan friendly, which I appreciate.

I was at a business meeting in Tukwila and this cafe showed up on Yelp. Rainier Beach is a cute area of Seattle- I had never been! The cafe is located on a side street- parking wasn't the easiest to find. The cafe itself is super cute! Amazing back patio area with local art and comfortable tables. The two people I met - the guy cooking (thinking he is the owner) abs the girl making the drinks and running food were super nice! You felt so welcomed walking in. All the pastries were homemade- the almond croissant- OMG- soooo good!! I ordered the rancho jueovos (spelling) and my friends ordered the avocado toast- all delicious and freshly made. To top it off- the iced tea was delicious. We will be back! Highly recommend.

One of the best egg breakfast places for us is this cafe in Seattle . When we first visited Seattle, we came here randomly not knowing we would fall in love with the food. Never had anything like this in LA. Not that we have shifted here. Cant stop ourselves to come to this place now and then. They were closed for a longtime. When they did open, we were their on the first weekend itself. They have extended to a beautiful outside area on their backyard, but the food not that good as before:- Veggie Sandwich:- It comes with a side of fruit filled with cheese and veggies. It was good, fresh. Avocado toast:- Skip this one, you would find a better version someplace else. Rainier beach breakfast:- 2 eggs with toast and roasted potatoes. So their roasted potatoes are to die for when we had it for the first time but this time they were not even fully cooked. Do get their side of apple butter which is just yumm. Potatoes Rancheros:- my better half just loved this dish especially their mexican chili sauce, which sadly they have changed which tastes not even near good as before. Egg sandwich with roasted potatoes:- The eggs were baked beautifully, when you eat the sandwich as whole you can not tell that you are eating egg. Liked the sandwich. Danish pastry:- OMG this was yum. Had to stop myself to take a pic. hehe Cafe Latte:- It was good. Not too bitter. Warm cup of coffee in Seattle rain, Perfect. Cappuccino:- Nice frothy, bit bitter for me. Liked the latte more. Hot chocolate:- Emm, skip this one. Overall, this cafe is always going to be a hit spot. Service is A1, on all our visits. Pricey as compared to the quantity of food served.

Rainier Beach Breakfast with biscuit option! That jam is killer.

One member of the group is vegetarian, hence a reason why we ended up going to a vegetarian restaurant for our first meal during our trip. Blossom Vegetarian is located on the southwest corner of 3rd and Burnett. We came in three cars, and the lot immediately in front of the restaurant can only hold about a dozen cars. The adjacent lot has more spots, but all three of us were able to find spots easily when we arrived. That's likely because we had arrived a few minutes prior to opening, so the door was locked when I tried to open it. Right at 11 AM, an employee came out with a signicade to place in front of the front door. Shortly afterwards, we entered and sat at a table for 8, which I found kind of odd because they had tables of 4 and 8, but not 6. Our table had a sign advertising a limited time special, which was Hanoi Beef Fried Rice at the time*. However, we were interested in the lunch specials, which were available weekdays from 11 AM to 2 PM. Knowing that our schedule wouldn't have allowed for a lunch special any other time during our trip, we went for lunch specials, which mainly consists of rice combos. Rice combos at Blossom Cafe come with rice, either jasmine or brown, the latter of which would incur a $1 upcharge. The combo also includes an option for a juice or coffee, and if you choose either, you get $1 off. With plenty of rice combos to choose from, two of them chose the same lunch combo while the rest of us went with different lunch combos, but shared family-style with one another. I chose the Blossom Rice Combo, which consists of shredded "pork", tofu pie, "beef" skewer, and vegetables alongside a lime vinaigrette dressing. I'm not too certain of the other combos, but I do know that the Cashew Chicken was another combo, and that's because one of my groupmates heard it was their most popular dish. Since I prefer brown rice over white (jasmine) rice, I opted for the $1 upcharge for the brown rice. Between the coffee and the juice, I went with a coffee since I was needing some after a long morning of traveling. They have four choices of Vietnamese Coffee: Cheese Cafe, Cafe Latte, Dalgona Cafe, and Cafe Sua. I went with the Cafe Latte, which consists of both condensed and whole milk. The coffee drinks can come either hot or iced. For whatever reason, everybody else ordered the iced drinks, but I went with hot knowing I'd have to brave the pretty chilly weather outside. It took about 13 minutes for the kitchen to prepare our orders, and then we feasted! The coffee was ready about a minute before the main dishes arrived. Everything tasted good, but I wouldn't say great, though that's probably because I'm not vegetarian. However, rest assured that all their meats aren't real meat, and this is indicated by the use of quotation marks encompassing the meat names. You can definitely tell these meats are truly vegetarian, though it took a few bites for me to discern the vegetarianism of the "beef" skewer. The brown rice tasted kind of odd. I don't quite know how to describe it, but it was way different than the brown rice I'm used to e.g. Flame Broiler. The rice tasted pretty meh by itself, but exhibited a much more elevated flavor profile after adding the lime vinaigrette, which I'm thinking was actually a fish sauce. But that Cafe Latte was smoooooooooooth. Just what I needed after not getting enough z's the previous evening. Since I ordered mine hot, my coffee came in a mug while the others who ordered iced coffee got theirs in a wine glass. These coffees supplemented the glasses of water we were given when we placed our orders. Service, unfortunately, was quite slow, so exercise patience! We were the first customers to eat there, and there were a few others who came in after we did. We stayed there for over an hour even though I think we could have gotten in and out in much less time. They didn't really check on us even though there were very few other customers inside as well; I guess we were supposed to proactively go up to the counter to let them know when we were ready to order as well as pay. 2026 calendars were available for purchase at a cost of $20, cash only. I don't know how many people would constitute a "large" party, but we were considered one, which resulted in an 18% gratuity fee that was already added to our individual bills. One of our groupmates, who was fluent in Vietnamese, needed to let the server know prior to paying. So overall, Blossom Vegetarian is a decent spot for vegetarians; I just wouldn't recommend for a quick lunch break since service is nowhere near as quick. * My visit was back in November. I waited until January to post this review as I took a brief hiatus from posting reviews upon traveling to the Pacific Northwest.

We ordered queso fries as our appetizer. It was my favorite thing we ate there. Fries were warm, crunchy, and soft in the inside. The sauce and meat tasted great too. We also ordered corn dogs off the happy hour menu - the cornbread around the dog itself was thinner than I'm used to in a normal corn dog, which I liked! It was a good bread to meat ratio and the sauce was excellent. For our main, we got the bang bang burrito and the birria tacos. The burrito was delicious. Super flavorful and the side salad was good too. Loved the dressing. The birria tacos were not the best I've ever had. The tacos themselves were good, and the side of beans was solid. I liked the cheese and wish they gave more than just a small sauce cup - Chicken wings - we got the honey butter and it was great - Fried Brussels sprouts - also very delicious. Amazing execution of the appetizers - Enchiladas - this is where it went downhill. The sauce was bitter and the chicken was a bit dry - Tacos - basically kind of like Taco Bell but with fresher ingredients. I loved the muddled fruit that I decided to pour water into the cup as an infused water after finishing the drink In addition we had the tajin-dusted fried zucchini and that was good. I love the creamy green chile sauce which acted as a nice dip for the chips because they were so stingy with the queso dip. For dessert we tried the sopapillas which is quite airy and it's nice to try it sweet instead of savory. Service is really slow.
