The food was really good, had the 58th Ave Benny and it was one of the best bennies I've had. The food did take a little while to come out but it was 10:30am on Sunday so very busy. Service left something to be desired as our server only came around to take our orders and payment at the end. Overall I'd recommend it if you aren't in a rush! read more

We came to Red's for an early lunch on a Saturday. The restaurant wasn't too busy, and we were able to get a booth right away. Red's has a nice farmhouse atmosphere, accentuated with the one of the owner's stained glass art. The service was quick, and the staff were friendly and took extra safety precautions during the pandemic. The food at Red's is fresh and well-made. I ordered the chicken club, and it was probably the best I've ever had. Everything was done to perfection, especially the roasted chicken. The gravy was also delicious. The brisket sandwich, cheeseburger and 58th Avenue eggs Benedict that the rest of our party ordered was also very well-liked. Red's Diner is a great local restaurant that we will definitely visit again soon read more

I was really impressed by the restaurant itself. Good ambiance, nice menu, and really good breakfast, but the service was insultingly disappointing. From the moment we sat down and our waitress approached the table, it felt as though we were an inconvenience and made to feel uncomfortable when we asked for more time to look over the menu. Quality is in the details and our server was the furthest thing from friendly. Not bothering to get our children's drink order, not returning for a single quality check, and missed items of our order - cream for our coffee and additional sides that were missed, we finished our breakfast - which was quite tasty. Never having been offered a refill of our coffees, we asked for our bill, we were offered the machine and we were left with a dirty table. We will not be returning to Red's as the service is sub optimal, which is a shame as the restaurant is really good. read more

This place is such a favorite. The coffee is amazing and the service and food is top notch. The only downside is the wait times on weekends, it is worth the wait because the food is really really good. They know how to keep you happy and coming back and the servers have a high attention to details and they always get your order right. If you aren't into waiting, come on a weekday and give it a try. The service is friendly and quick. Not fussy but it has good energy. Wait staff seem to know the menu and the gluten free options well.

Ask for a coffee refill. Wait 30 minutes. Ask again and then get told 'you should have asked me'. Really?? Service is less then stellar.
