Fish taco + fish and chips

This place is pretty good. We tried the fish taco and fish and chips and the fish is very tender but it's slightly under seasoning. I would say fish and chips have better value. It's $4 more, but the portion is a lot bigger. The fries are very good too. It's crispy outside but moist inside. The clam chowder is pretty good as well. It's just a little bowl (initially we thought it's a cup size) is more than $9.

    Oysters of the day!

What a gem! Service and food were both excellent. I walked to Boston Public Market from my hotel nearby and explored a bit. I got a few things from different stalls, but came here to grab my husband a fish sandwich and fries for lunch. While waiting, I saw the fresh oysters through the glass and inquired about the cocktail sauce (it looked to be housemade). The man working the counter went to double check it was gluten and dairy free for me, and it was! So I went ahead and got one of each oyster available that day; I also loved that they gave you the details about what fisherman caught them and all. Super cool. The oysters were shucked right there in front me and were served with lemon, cocktail sauce, and mignonette on a lil paper plate. It was the perfect afternoon snack! Absolutely delicious and so fresh, shucked so cleanly as well. My husband said the fish sandwich was super tasty, as were the fries. They were huge portions as well. Highly recommend this spot for a casual and delicious bite!

Rate 3.5 Clean, fast service, order at kiosk. Red's Best Seafood is a great little place within BOS Logan's Boston Public Market for last minute bites of CLAM CHOWDER, FISH TACOS, SALMON BURGER, DOUBLE CHEESEBURGER, LOBSTER ROLL, CAESAR SALAD and FRIES. Ordering is via several kiosks located within busy Boston Public Market. Seating is scattered throughout w/small tables and stand up counters, plus a bar with if needed. Orders come out fairly quickly, piping hot. Food is decent but it's still airport food. FISH TACOS are good (wish for more fish), LOBSTER ROLL and CLAM CHOWDER are good. I'll come back to try their SALMON BURGER, GRILLED CHICKEN SANDWICH, and FISH SANDWICHES next time.

Our first lobster roll juicy, buttery and yummy. We split one in half and it was enough for a lunch snack. $36 There are communal tables throughout the market to dine at. There was a good fresh fish selection . Service was prompt bang on lunchtime.

Love love love this place! I can't believe I got a mouthwatering, juicy cheeseburger and the most delicious fries from a d seafood restaurant. Like out of this world, delicious. The prices were reasonable, even with it being airport adjacent, and the portions were enough to last me the day. Can't wait to return!!

Clam chowder wasn't as chunky as I wanted, but still very tasty. Even though their store opens as at 10AM, most of their menu isn't available until 11AM (at least when I visited).

Very fresh seafood with plenty of different options at this location. Located inside the Boston Public Market nestled in the back. Had the lobster roll which was very fresh and loaded up! Def a must try if you're in the area. Pro Tip: don't sleep on the fresh octopus salad

If you wanna skip the crowds and waiting for a seat to eat your food, hop over to the boston public market (literally 1 block from Quincy market) and get the clam chowder here. This seafood counter is in the back of the market and delivers on taste, clams, thickness, and not too salty clam chowder. Bonus was that I had plenty seating options to sit and enjoy my soup. At $6 a cup, it was perfect, and comes with a small bag of oyster crackers. I'll have to come back before I leave town to get a lobster roll!

Best clam chowder we've had in Boston. We came several months ago and tried different clam chowders. Red's Best is thick, creamy and delicious. We like it better than Legal Seafood, our Boston native friends' go to place.

A must-visit if you're in the area!!! I was craving fish and chips and specifically came here to try it. I've heard great things about Red's and my experience definitely lived up to the hype! The workers are awesome- the kitchen opened at 11, which I didn't realize, and I came around 10:15. But one of the cooks was really nice and offered to cook my meal anyways, which I deeply appreciated. The fish had a crispy batter but wasn't greasy, and the chips had a nice bite and everything came out hot! I loved their tartar sauce too, and the portion was good considering it was only $16. Already planning my return!

We wanted a great lobster roll and this spot was recommended by a local. We were expecting a dine-in restaurant but this is a fresh seafood counter with an incredible selection. The service was friendly and it was fun grabbing a table in the market and e joying a taste of Boston.

Stopped at Reds at the Boston airport and had a great dinner! They're small menu focuses on several great meals. There are plenty of seafood options available. I had the fish tacos. They had plenty of fish and toppings that complimented it perfectly. Staff was quick and efficient! The bar is right near it with several options. A good stop before a flight!

Stopped here along a food tour. We had lobster rolls. Sooooo good!! They were not quite warm but not quite cold. Pure lobster with a little flavor. Not drenched in butter or in mayo. Fresh and filling. Great stop in the north end market where everything is local. Bonus that they are a sustainable business.

The bluefin tuna sushi sampler was sinewy and stringy, which at $20 for 6 pieces felt egregious.

How far is this restaurant from the Boston airport?

Probably 15 minutes by car. It's right on the other side of the tunnel.

I've never been into cold mayo ones. This time we tried the cold mayo one and it was delicious. Changed my perspective about lobster rolls. This place has limited seating inside and some seating outside. I was bummed they didn't have french fries but it was fine. I took it togo so service wasn't something I could rate. Highly recommend these folks!

First time in Boston, so of course--lobster rolls were a must…read more We stopped in at this spot, which sits right on a busy street, giving it that classic touristy energy. As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by live crabs on display, which definitely adds to the experience. That said, it was surprisingly warm inside, so we opted to sit outside where there were plenty of tables and a much more comfortable breeze. Taking a look at the menu, the lobster rolls were... pretty steep. We decided to share one and round it out with a few sides--clam chowder, potato salad, a jumbo crab cake, and 2 cans of soda. For everything we ordered, the total came out to around $90, which definitely made us pause for a moment. Overall, I'm glad we went this route of sharing a The lobster roll, while decent, didn't quite justify the ~$40 price tag for its size. It felt more like we were paying for the location and "Boston experience" than the flavor itself. The standouts for me were actually the sides--the crab cake was flavorful with a nice texture, and the clam chowder was rich, creamy, and comforting. All in all, it checked the "first lobster roll in Boston" box, but I was very happy we only ordered one to share. Sometimes the touristy spots are more about the experience than the wow factor--and this felt like one of those moments.
