Awesome rotating selection of brews at an affordable price. I've been in during trivia nights and various DJ sets. There is pizza available inside to purchase, but I will refrain from commenting since I haven't tried it. Cool place to hang out with buds

Sour beer

Wish we could've stuck around for longer and hung out because the vibe was really great! Not too loud, but casual to hang out with some friends on a weekday or weekend night. And the Sour beer was just too good! Also do yourselves a favor and get the pizza from Kobo inside there. Just. Do it.

Beer flight: 6oz Samplers

Bartenders were super friendly. Prices were reasonable. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. I ordered the flight which comes with 6 beers of your choosing. Good experience, would recommend!

A variety of beers and ciders on tap, but the darkest beer was a mediocre red. No porters or stouts. No sours. The flight of 6 allowed for a variety of taste experiences. My favorites were the Hazy Big Ballard and the Cloud Mentality. Ample outdoor seating - community table style.

WHEN: Wed @5pm I wanted to be somewhere that had outdoor seating, booze that's not limited to just beer, and food. When we arrived, there's no one outside and it was chilly. The benches and tables were wet from the rain so I asked for a towel to wipe it dry. When I ordered inside the bartender was nice to offer me a Hot Toddy when I asked for a hot beverage. However, his water didn't work so I ended up order an OLD FASHIONED. OLD FASHIONED - $14 Woodenville double barrel whiskey, orange, maraschino cherry, angastora bitters, simple syrup. This old fashioned looked weird, and probably because it was not served over a huge single ice cube, which made the drink look like a single pour of liquor. It tasted fine. Just sad I didn't get a Hot Toddy. MAC & CHEESE - $10 Classic elbow pasta, Cheddar, Mozzarella and Parmesan mixed together with their beer cheese. Topped with breadcrumbs and baked until browned bubbly. Oh yeah it was very good and creamy/cheesy! Eat fast because it also gets cold fast if you're sitting outside! Easily shareable. SUPREME PIZZA - $18.50 Statistically the best pizza (the menu said it not me). It has their 5 nost popular toppings: pepperoni, sausage, green pepper, red onion, mushrooms. Pretty pricey for a smallish pizza that reminds me something from the frozen section. I guess if you were to compare it to the plain cheese pizza ($10) but they do itemize each topping. I might as well build my own pizza. This place is lovely thang out and I wish I was comfortable enough ti sit indoors where its super nice and cozy and get to enjoy the gorgeous mural. There's also seating in the back which may have been warmer with all the residential walls. I'm surprised this place has no outdoor heating lamps. All in all I'm grateful for a place that serves food and liquor with plenty of outdoor seating.

Flight

It was our first time here as a group and we came in pretty late. Overall experience was great. The back bar closes first so some of their drinks weren't available but the bartenders took care of us. Explained how to order and were really quick with all the drinks. Was really diggin the atmosphere, sad that some of the drinks weren't available but i'm down to come back!

I got to try this place with some friends on a Friday night (around their closing time) so got to try just their beers. The place itself has a nice vibe, it's also attached to Kobo pizza (which I so wanted to try but sadly they were closed ). The building was lit up beautiful at night. Apart from beers , they also serve cider, wine, cocktails so everyone an find something to drink Since it was my first time there , I decided to sample and ordered a flight (6 beers) and all the beers we had were decent. I particularly liked the coffee porter .

Paloma

Went here with a group of 7 friends at around 7:30 and we were seated immediately at a table outside. I got the Paloma and the Buffalo Fried Chicken Sandwich (came with side of fries). I've never tried a Paloma before but it was really yummy. I don't really enjoy strong alcohol but I enjoyed the nice balance of flavors in this drink. Food was also pretty solid, not extremely astounding or amazingly good. The waiter also mixed up one of our orders with someone else's so my friend had to wait a long time for his burger. Overall, vibe is good and alcohol is good. Deductions because good isn't anything special in my opinion but good place to go to meet up with friends!

I do love the location this new(ish) brewery location, layout, setting and service!!. Beer, good yet not amazing like most craft breweries in the PNW!!. Food, full kitchen recently swapped out with a pop-up sub-in offering just smash burgers and French fried sides.. staff was awesome compensating for the pubs lacking.. pro-tip, to-go fridge stocked with old beer!

Wagyu burger + fries
Sarina Z.

Brought a group of 7 and we were seated immediately. They offer a variety of IPAs, lagers, ales, and stouts. I got the rosé apple cider and it was crisp + fruity. Their food menu was not huge so I went with the wagyu burger + fries. The burger was okay and fries were fine, both pretty average to me! The vibe was great, definitely a fun spot to hangout and talk with friends (esp big groups because they have huge tables).

From the moment you step inside, the atmosphere captures you: modern décor, intimate lighting, and a warm vibe that feels both upscale and inviting. Everything is immaculately clean and thoughtfully designed, setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience. If you're a bourbon lover, this place is paradise. Their collection is incredible, but what truly sets them apart is the service. The Bourbon Curators, Ms. Hannah and Mr. Tommy, along with our amazing waitress Ms. Sassy, make you feel like a VIP from start to finish. They welcome you with open arms and create a personalized bourbon journey -- teaching you about flavor profiles, history, and how to discover different palettes you never knew you had. It's not just a drink menu... it's an experience. And the food? Michelin-worthy. We shared the Autumn Chicory Salad and the homemade Autumn Mushroom Pasta -- both beautifully crafted, rich in flavor, and perfectly paired with the bourbon experience. Every bite showed off the kitchen's talent and passion. We were actually recommended this restaurant by strangers we met at the Seattle Space Needle -- and wow, did they steer us right. The Ballard's Cut surpassed every expectation. If you love bourbon, phenomenal food, and top-tier service from people who treat you like family, then this is the place. Do not miss it.

I thought this was a steakhouse and yall can't even cook a steak medium rare? One person in our party never received their salad despite asking multiple times. Their stupid steak dish is $50 entree with zero sides. I added cauliflower for an extra $17 charge and received something I could have made in five minutes. Finally, we tried to order dessert and were told they were out of the item we all wanted. This place is a ripoff with terrible service.

The space has a warm, modern-industrial vibe, wood floors, soft lighting, exposed ceilings, and thoughtful decorative touches. It's intimate without feeling cramped, and the open kitchen adds a nice energy. Our server was incredibly personable and professional, striking that perfect balance of friendly and knowledgeable. We did the American Omakase. We started with a trio of entry snacks: smoked anchovies, prosciutto with watermelon, and fresh focaccia. The anchovies were punchy and vibrant, definitely for fans of big flavor. The prosciutto and watermelon were refreshing, and the focaccia tasted like it came straight from a great neighborhood bakery. Course 1: Amberjack Crudo Fresh, clean, and beautifully balanced. The tomato compote and rolled vegetables paired so well together, and the flakes of salt on top really opened up the flavor of the fish. Course 2: Diver Maine Scallop Hands down one of the highlights of the night. The scallop was paired with breadcrumbs, oyster mushrooms, and a miso sauce that made the whole dish feel warm, savory, and almost Thanksgiving-like in its comfort. VERY good. Course 3: Pork Belly Served with carrot puree, apple "sauce", and leeks. The pork belly itself was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the sweetness of the apple paired perfectly. The leeks were a surprise standout. Course 4: Lamb Rich, moist, and deeply seasoned, with a lovely rub. The artichoke hearts added such a sharp, earthy contrast that it legit gave me goosebumps. The potato purée and jus tied everything together. Course 5, Dessert: Chocolate something (oops it was like a mousse) with Poached Pears & Raspberry Creamy, balanced, and not overly sweet. A perfect finish. Overall, Violet delivered a thoughtful, memorable meal with impeccable pacing and standout dishes from start to finish. Would absolutely return

What I ordered: Wishing to sample a little of everything, we were served, family style, two orders of Bread ($9 each) - buttered with salt and pepper; Fritto Misto ($12) - assorted, lightly fried and pickled vegetables with tarragon aioli; Smashed Burrata ($19) - snap peas, preserved lemon, mint, basil, sherry reduction; Carrot & Tahini Dip ($16) - caramelized garlic, feta, pistachio, crudite; two orders of Heirloom Tomatoes ($21 each) - melon, chevre, crispy quino, soft herbs; Crispy Potatoes ($16) - whipped feta, hot honey, mint; Mushroom Agnolotti ($34) - roasted maitakes, chanterelles, whipped ricotta, miso butter, thyme; Roast Chicken ($42) - chickpea, berbere yogurt, marinated cucumber, mint gremolata. To finish off our meals, we shared the Olive Oil Cake ($14) - basil yogurt cremeux, strawberry gel, and the Chocolate Tiramisu ($16) - mascarpone, rum, amaretto, candied hazelnuts. What I loved: Oh man, every dish was delightful. I found something to savor and repeat in each of the dishes we were served. From the sweetness of the heirloom tomatoes, to the creamy burrata, from the crispy potatoes, to the fresh peas and everything in between. Our least favorite, at the table was the mushroom Angnolotti, inconsistent from bite to bite. The presentation of the Carrot & Tahini dip was a bit haphazard compared to the rest of the dishes served, but the flavor was still lovely. Why I loved it: The service was unparalleled, comfortable yet professional and quick to offer recommendations for our larger party. The decorations and quaint spaces truly welcoming, and the food, excellent. Cost: High ($40+ per person)
