Stole $50 from me due to the lack of proper documentation by store personel. Sold my family the wrong size belt even after being told the correct size because it sold something weather right or not. Than I returned the belt for the proper size they took the belt noted it in some log. After checking back several times they never ordered it now a month later it finally came in. I still had to call them to see if it came in. Upon receiving the new belt now they want a belt I returned a month ago. I tried to explain that I gave the belt back on 12/27/2019. This is after they could see several transactions on their so called computer that all of the sales folks have had problems using. I and my family made several transactions this month. So I took back the $150 pair of shoes I bought as a Christmas present to myself....showed them I'm wearing an old pair....they refused to understand they made a mistake......so I lost a $50 belt and Red Wing lost a family with electricians, forestry and correction personel as my son-in-laws. In this day and age I'll take my business to anyone of a dozen shoe store....be careful they do not have their act together....they stole a $50 belt from me. read more

Stopped by on 2-10-19 looking for a pair of steel toe boots for work. They have many to choose from, but with the help of Ashleigh, she steered me in the right direction. After finding the ones I liked, she brought out 2 width sizes to make sure they fit me comfortably. While paying for them, she informed me of all things they do for you to get the most out of your footwear, plus a military or union discount. Saved me some money. The customer service is horrendous here. No compassion or care for the customer. The employee told my husband the policies are policies beside you have a mark on the boot. What happen was he grabbed a pair of boots without trying on and got a pair too big. They have been in the box the whole time. Employee wasn't hearing hearing anything and stood his ground about the 30 day policy. We were in a shut down and live about 30 miles away. The store was no help whatsoever but we contacted Corp and they were super nice and had a couple words about the employees in the stores which made me leave relieved. So my husband bought a pair of boots(they were ordered) since they didn't have them in his size. I went and got them when they arrived. I was in a hurry so I didn't check the boots till I got to my daughters school... it was then when I noticed that they were really scuffed up and had dark spots in certain areas... they really looked like they were worn once and someone tried to clean them up. I called the store and let them know. They told me to take the boots back in as soon as I could. I took them in right away... I drive all the way to the store just for the manager to come out (looked ready to argue in my opinion) I showed him the boots and he kept insisting that the boots are like that due to material. He then grabbed the same boot from display, and it wasn't in the condition the boots we bought were (no dark spots less scuffs) he then grabbed another boot that was the same material of the boots we bought, to show me how that material has dark spots and scuffs... again that boot had NO DARK SPOTS AND NO SCUFFS! He then insisted that the boots we got are known for the condition they were in since they were water proof... we went back in forth a few times... him saying they were water proof , and me saying they were WATER RESISTANT ... a female employee then got in on the conversation and checked and seen THEY WERE NOT WATERPROOF BUT WATER RESISTANT... manager replied with "my bad I thought they were waterproof" female employee then started scratching the boots I bought to show "how easily they scratch and how easily it can wipe off" well guess what?! More scratches got applied to the boots! Both manager and female employee were ganging up on me... two on one... I've been in customer service all my life... and have never ever witnessed or have acted like the way they both did to any customer! What the manger then said shocked me and left me speechless.... his words... "they are work boots they are gonna get scratches and get dirty... so what's wrong with these...?! We ordered these for you!" I then told him "these aren't $50 boots... these are $220 boots... I know they will get scuffs and dirty... but the person that buys them should be the one to scuff them up and dirty them!" Basically it's like me saying... here's these "brand new shoes" they have black scuffs and scratches on them... you have to pay the full amount for them anyway since they are shoes and will get dirty anyway! NO! NO! NO! He then said (while pushing the boots towards me) "take these home show them to your husband... if he doesn't want them... have HIM bring them back... if he doesn't wear them... we can exchange them" I then walked out... so basically my husband has what looks to be used boots... but if HE wears them... he can't exchange them??!! I came home... didn't say a word to my husband... handed him the boots... HE THEN took them out of the box, looked at them and said... "what store did they order these from?!" I was like why!?? He then said "cause these boots look to be used... looks like someone scuffed them up and tried to clean them up... they looked F'd up" I then started laughing... then I told him what went down... and I'm glad I wasn't losing my mind (since the employee and manager made me feel like I was) he said no... these boots have dark spots like they used the wrong cleaner... and the scuffs and black marks are out of control! So my husband then told me not to go back to THAT store (Temecula location) and that he was gonna keep the boots... that driving to the store twice in one day was enough! That he will take his business and recommend the Corona store from now on. He said he won't waste his time on a manager that is closed minded and treats customers badly. Visited this location for the first time and had the worst experience at a red wing store. I had went in to get a shoe cleaning, something that I have had done numerous times at the norco location. I dropped off the shoes and waited for a phone call to pick them up after two days no call so I preceded to call them for a follow up. They answered and said yea there done we do them in 24hrs without actually checking on them. So went down to the store to pick them up and was blatantly lied to my face about he service they did. My boots were in the same condition they were in when I dropped them off. They were never cleaned nor oiled still had dirt on them. I will never go back to this location ever again will keep my business in the norco red wing. Listen Dick when coming into a retail business there is only one expectation and that is good customer service. Your stating that I need to talk to a manager to receive that? If that is your solution to this situation you've missed the whole point. Also stating you'll refund me for your free service real classy guy. As a customer of red wing and any one else who has boughten redwing product we've paid for these services as it's one of your company's selling points. Don't go to this store, it's such a joke. I go into this store to get my boots cleaned since I was cleaning the area. The store had one guy working and he couldn't leave the front to clean my boots. No one in the store shopping, I would have given him a shout if someone walked in. Each time I've gone to this Red Wing location, I've been disappointed with the level of service. read more

3rd time in this shop, ive bought 2 pairs of Red Wings work boots and 1 pair womens Vasque hiking boots for my girlfriend. I fell in love with my first pair. I went ahead and bought their memory foam sole inserts and i simple have never had a pair of boots fit SO comfortably. I literally can wear my boots for a 12hr work day and get home and my feet are no longer tired. Will and Ashley were and are great, very kind and they know their boots. So about 3 weeks ago I went in on a Sunday to purchase some work boots. I do not remember the name of the lady who "helped" me with my boots but she is the pregnant one with a sleeve tattoo now I describe her because she does not know about the product she is selling so beware. When i went in and asked for a 8.5 she asked if this was my first time with red wing boots and i said yea and she mentioned that they tend to stretch a half size so i should get them snugg, so i tried both size 8 and 8.5 and when i tried the 8.5 she checked my boot and said i should go a half size smaller because they will stretch so i was convinced to take the 8. Okay so i took them to work and by the end of the day i was hurting but i thought okay new boots have to break them in. By the end of the week my toes were hurting so i decided to go back to the store and i spoke to the same lady that sold them to me and i said the boots are not streching and her answer was this, "Every boot is different, they dont all stretch and it also depends on your feet." So i told her i was not there for a return i simply want a 8.5 and she said the boots are not exchangeable they have to be in condition for resale for them to take them back. She spoke to her manager who seemed to celebrate the fact that they were not exchangeable so i told her okay i will buy the size 8.5 and they didnt have my size. She offered to strech the but i refused to i want the right size not a altered size. A week later i went back to BUY the size 8.5 and they were not in stock. Oh and they WERE closed during buisness hours 5pm for a store meeting with the owner so i took the opportunity to ask the owner for a special order and he said they are already on the way only thing he can do is take my number down for "First Dibs". If your still reading i waited 1 week to get my first dibs call on the size 8.5 on April 9 2018. If you are still reading this review be smart just go on AMAZON they have them for $105 compared to Red Wings 149. We ordered boots on Oct 14 from Temecula Red Wing. It is November 9th and just received boots. We called numerous times and no one could tell us where our boots were or when we would receive them. At one point a associate said they had the boots in Corona and we should drive there to pick them up. That's an hr away and the boots were to be delivered to our house . We called corporate office and they didn't care and never responded to our email. We spent over 300.00 and deserve information after almost a month. I finally got ahold of the owner who informed me the boots had never been ordered and he would have Corona store mail them to us. Over 3 weeks later the boots arrived in original shoe box wrapped in ripped paper. The look like they were warn. I will never buy boots from the Temecula store again. . I pulled up to the red wing store hoping that their selection of boots would fit my need for when I go back to work down in Texas. I looked around when I first walked in... not seeing my old boots that I'd purchased on their showcases and got a little disappointed because they are my favorite boot besides my red wing muck boot for trippin pipe. Anyways Mur and Chris were honestly in the back lookin for boots that would fit my awkward feet longer than they were on the floor it felt like lol anyways Chris came in clutch realizing my favorite boot was there... just not in the same color I was used to! Then after searching all 14 different boots, and different sizes do to my big awkward feet. He got me on some cooling socks that I'm stoked to try out when the ground temp is 136 degrees! Honestly. I thought I'd leave empty handed and have a couple dudes mad because I made them run a 5k looking for boots thinking I wasn't gonna find the right ones. You the man Chris Owens! Red wing work boots are my go to set of safety shoes when on the job. This particular store however, has some of the worst customer service I have seen. I went in to purchase a pair of work boots through my employer voucher, however I left the store without my safety shoes. Their sales associate Chris, denied my purchase claiming I had a "photoshopped" voucher because it was electronically signed by my company's safety manager. He would not work with me and belittled my intelligence as I explained that my company does not physically sign documents and uses an electronic signature method for document tracking and government contractual obligations for documentation storage and auditing. He did not offer to try and find a solution and had a poor attitude and unacceptable customer service. I require the safety shoes as apart of my daily tasks. I explained to Chris that I had never had this issue before when purchasing boots through Red Wings using a voucher supplied to me from my company. As I had purchased boots from this location numerous times with similar vouchers. I am disappointed with the lack of customer service, especially when my company has had vendor agreements with Red Wings for many years. I will be sure to follow up with my company's safety management and share this poor experience with them to facilitate a change in our safety shoe vendor. hey, if anyone plans to buy irish setters work boots just remember the people that work there don't let you return them if you they don't fit for the job ,2 hours couldn't stand them any longer. called the guy up he said no problem if they are still new he would have no problem I drove down from Murrieta then the guy said no guarantee fit on them, what a chump .then he said he could help with some inserts . well the boots still didn't fit right ,so he side sorry ,I'm pissed off now more than just the waste off my time and 200.bills. so I packed up then asked could I have the inserts anyway,since I was stuck with the boots he then said for 60.bucks isay what he said I could get 10.off ,I said what the fuck not today thanks then I think I said what the fuck again; never will I buy the junk and poor salesmanship from this place/0 stars read more
