    Custom insoles. Heated and formed in store!

    Great running store. We live in the area and there's a big focus on fitness, walking, running, track & field, being active, etc. First time visiting Road Runner was yesterday afternoon. I've been running for years but I've started to have some foot pain and decided to go check it out. The foot scan alone was worth the visit. The system selects several shoes that are best for your foot shape and stance. I did buy the custom insoles and have already noticed much less heel pain (plantar fasciitis, painful if you know!). I also bought some plantar socks which have really helped in less than 24hrs as well. Jaylen was a huge help. He ran me thru the foot scan, made some shoe suggestions, and fitted the custom insoles. He was knowledgeable and professional. He took the time to understand my needs and was not pushy at all while I was making decisions. I did not buy shoes yesterday as I just broke in a new pair but my future shoe purchases will be done at Road Runner as the pricing was even slightly better than online stores or the big box location nearby. Definitely worth a visit if you suffer from any pain while running but even just walking feels better with the insoles. Will also take my son in when spring track kicks off so he can get fitted for spikes rather than just using buying off the r Highly recommend!!

    My husband and I go here often as I am an avid Marathon & Mountain trail Runner and he puts a lot of miles in on his feet daily as General Manager of Blaze Pizza ! I really just want to highlight MATT ! He always gives us such personal and quality service! He even remembers our names & sizes and past purchases and our likes and dislikes so he is able to suggest and recommend new shoes that we will love ! Matt always has a great attitude and he definitely goes above and beyond the extra mile for us when we come in . We look forward to seeing him when we come and we always make sure to shop on his work days ! Thank you Road Runner Sports and Thank You Matt for all you do for us !     Road Runner Sports - Temecula, CA I recently visited Road Runner Sports in Temecula and had the pleasure of being helped by Meg. Her approach was outstanding--she genuinely listened to my needs, related to what I was looking for, and then made thoughtful, informed recommendations. That kind of three-step service--listen, relate, recommend--is exactly what creates customer loyalty. Meg made the experience personal, professional, and pressure-free. She's the kind of team member who turns one-time shoppers into lifelong customers. The store itself is very clean, well-organized, and offers high-quality footwear. However, the current inventory didn't match my style or size needs--especially in the $145-$150 range--so I'll need to look elsewhere this time. That said, I'll absolutely come back again, specifically for Meg's service. One strong suggestion for corporate: Please consider dedicating a section of the store to kids' athletic shoes. The Temecula/Murrieta Valley has tens of thousands of active kids involved in sports, school, and community fitness programs. A small investment in a youth-focused section could open up a major new customer base and significantly boost your local profits. Just my recommendation--but it's one worth serious consideration.

Whether intentional or not, it felt like judgments were being made based on our appearance, and it completely ruined what was supposed to be a special shopping trip for my daughter's birthday. I will admit that I was bringing multiple items to the dressing room for my daughter (who had her baby in the stroller inside the fitting room); but there was never any bad intent behind it. I was simply trying to help her try things on and make her birthday enjoyable. Once we realized how uncomfortable the situation had become, we decided not to purchase anything and left the store. As a first-time customer, the experience only reinforced my impression that this store caters to a certain type of customer while making others feel unwelcome. Situations like this could be handled much differently by employees. Instead of making customers feel watched or judged, employees could approach people in the fitting rooms in a friendly and professional way by offering assistance ( different size/ style/ item) and perhaps explaining store policies respectfully. Customer service should make all shoppers feel welcomed and respected, not singled out or uncomfortable. Very disappointing experience. I will stick with NikeSkims lol.

They were kind, welcoming, gave genuine styling advice for my height and body type, and even wished me a Happy Mother's Day. They made me feel comfortable and valued as a customer, which is why I returned a second time. Unfortunately, my visit on May 11th between 6-7:10 PM was one of the most uncomfortable shopping experiences I've had. I came in shopping for my birthday with my infant in a stroller and was repeatedly approached by employees in a way that felt more suspicious than genuinely helpful. While I was trying on clothes and taking care of my daughter in the fitting room. It was taking me longer than normal because again, my infant was in there with me, and I was really indecisive of the clothes I was trying on. I noticed employees repeatedly watching the bottom of my stroller and belongings very obviously. After stepping outside briefly to throw away my daughter's diaper, I walked back in and overheard an employee with short curly brown hair and glasses say over the mic, "she's walking back in," which immediately made me feel singled out and uncomfortable. The overall energy from several employees felt cold and judgmental rather than welcoming. Even though multiple employees asked if I needed help, when I actually asked questions their responses felt irritated and dismissive. One male employee responded to a simple leggings question in a condescending tone by pointing to the tag instead of actually listening to what I was asking. At that point, I no longer felt like a valued customer -- I felt watched. I ended up leaving without buying anything because the atmosphere became so uncomfortable. I also spoke to the manager, Taylor, afterward, but the conversation felt dismissive rather than understanding. Instead of acknowledging how the employees' behavior came across, the focus was placed on store policies and "body language." I've worked retail before, so I understand loss prevention, but there's a clear difference between being observant and making a customer feel targeted. What's disappointing is that this store clearly has employees capable of providing excellent service, as Valerie and Angelica proved during my first visit. But the staff working during my second visit created an environment that felt unwelcoming, judgmental, and uncomfortable enough that I no longer wanted to shop there. Overall I think the store could benefit from touching up on customer service training and teaching about unconscious biases as well.

My daughter said Jeremiah Estrada. Jesse was impressed and created a custom logo with Jeremiah Estrada's name and number. I met Allie, who explained that while they don't participate in the split sizing program, they do offer a "corkscrew method", where the shoe is padded to fit the smaller foot. I was extremely hesitant at first, but Allie was very transparent and took the time to explain the method, my options, and what would work best for me given how the shoes would be used. We tried on several pairs and configured the padding so the shoes felt right, and she explained that I can come back if I needed further adjustments. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience, all at a very reasonable price. Allie provided great service, was knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful.

My dad was very pleased with the Hokas he purchased and he usually just buys his shoes on Amazon, so for him to buy these shoes in store was a pretty big deal. He was very impressed and feels a noticeable difference wearing these shoes! The store itself is small but well organized and I saw another employee, I believe her name is Mari, assisting a woman. I can tell Mari was very patient with the woman, answering all her questions and bringing out however many shoes she needed to try on. Both Luis and Mari displayed patience, excellent customer service and a vast amount of knowledge. Thank you to Luis for taking the time to bring out the perfect sandal for me that I ended up walking out of the store wearing! You are a wonderful employee!
