We really appreciated the service we received today at this store. Even though this is not our home store we take a gamble coming here meaning we try to avoid one associate if possible. It is appealing to visit this location due to its location but if Maria there we already know is going to be and obnoxious up sell with some odd remarks about random people. We have come to learn this tactic since her first day a few years ago. We love RR bus this really makes every store visit a 7-8 stars. I'm not saying we deserve special treatment but it is nice not having to drive 2 hours to San Diego in order to get treated within certain amount of reason. Again the associate today was great she really knew her stuff, honesty every other employee there is great but the aforementioned since day one is a sales killer. It's really an eye roller as soon as we know she there. Sorry! I've waited a while to mention this knowing it's negative but telling the truth needs to be said at times for change. Road Runner Sports has come a long way but nothing compares to the Solana B location, mow thats a store does it right! From the moment you walk in your family and if follow up is warranted, that experience, just is always just as great. There are two reasons to go to roadrunner: 1- get your feet checked out- you never know if you've been wearing the wrong size shoes your whole life. 2- customer service is top notch. People here will take care of your needs. For a regular person that does not know a lot about the shoes world, technology and latest trends this is a great place to learn what fits your needs. Going to road runner will save you a ton of time if you don't want to do your research. Employees are so knowledgable and helpful. After your initial scan, they will tell you what shoes you need for your purpose. For example- i needed a daily trainer. They pointed me in the right direction. Great running store. We live in the area and there's a big focus on fitness, walking, running, track & field, being active, etc. First time visiting Road Runner was yesterday afternoon. I've been running for years but I've started to have some foot pain and decided to go check it out. The foot scan alone was worth the visit. The system selects several shoes that are best for your foot shape and stance. I did buy the custom insoles and have already noticed much less heel pain (plantar fasciitis, painful if you know!). I also bought some plantar socks which have really helped in less than 24hrs as well. Jaylen was a huge help. He ran me thru the foot scan, made some shoe suggestions, and fitted the custom insoles. He was knowledgeable and professional. He took the time to understand my needs and was not pushy at all while I was making decisions. I did not buy shoes yesterday as I just broke in a new pair but my future shoe purchases will be done at Road Runner as the pricing was even slightly better than online stores or the big box location nearby. Definitely worth a visit if you suffer from any pain while running but even just walking feels better with the insoles. Jaylen is awesome! I am a travel nurse practitioner. I work in a clinic, so I'm not on my feet like when I worked in-pt. My hip has been hurting, I know it's the ileo-psoas muscle (I've had this issue before). Anyway, I came here to buy a pair of HoKa sneakers. After trying on 4-5 pair, he didn't think they were the shoe for me. We tied ~10 other pair of sneakers. I went in there with my Orthofeet sneakers, that are as expensive as any of the shoes I tried on. I showed them to a Podiatrist I work with, and he agreed, they are a good shoe. I was suddenly struck with the idea to buy the custom molded inserts and put them into my Orthofeet, as they were only 3-4 months old. What a difference. I immediately felt my hip becoming less tight. (Unfortunately, it has not lasted, I need to see a Chiro to get it 'fixed' properly - I just don't a good one out here). Bottom line, Jaylen spent over an hour with me, on a Saturday 4 weeks before Christmas. He never rushed me, nor did I feel like I was not getting the best of his experience. I remember when, as kids, we went to small family-owned shoe store in the pre-mall times. This is the kind of service I received at RoadRunners. Was just there about 30 minutes ago and I must say I was very disappointed with the lack of customer service. I went in with every intention to spend some hard earned cash so the employee brought me a few different shoes to try on. I had a few questions about a different pair but the person who initially helped me never came back all the while new customers were coming in and getting help and not once did any other employee offered to follow up . I never had my feet analyzed before. With their Fit Finder, I was able to understand my feet & running gate better. I ended up buying new shoes. I found out one foot in bigger than the other. This store has excellent customer service. We were looking for good walking shoes and we took a look in here. Paisley was our sales associate and she did the free foot analysis to see what shoes would work best with our feet. We then tried on a ton of shoes. Paisley was so nice and patient as we took awhile to decide. There is zero pressure and the prices were reasonable for quality shoes. They didn't have the color I wanted but they ordered them for me and they were at my house in 2 days. I will definitely go back. I don't normally comment on good or bad shopping experiences, but this experience is an exception. I had an enjoyable, educational, and satisfying sport shoe purchasing experience at Road Runner Sports in Temecula, CA. Maria and Gavyn as well as all the store personnel, all of them, were friendly and knowledgable regarding the shoe products and sizing for me. It was not "Here, try this one on. How does it feel?" Rather they use an expensive machine to not only determine my shoe size, it also identified hot spots that is part of the fitting process. And in case insoles are recommended, which I would highly suggest, another piece of equipment was used. But more than the technology of getting the correct shoe size and fit were the people. I had two staff members working with me, Maria and Gavyn. Their knowledge about the process and products gave me the confidence that I was making an informed purchasing decision. I couldn't wait until I got home to put the shoes on and try them in real life. I did get a big ol' grin on my face and made several stops in front of the mirror to see them. As well as closing my eyes and concentrating on the comfort they provided. I am excited to get some mileage on the shoes. I stopped at the new Road Runner in Temecula yesterday because I've been experiencing pain in my arches when I go on my daily walks. It's a super nice store with a great selection of shoes and apparel. Paisley was the associate who took me through the process of finding out what was going on with my foot and what type of shoe and support I needed. I walked on a treadmill, stepped on a thermal reader and she was able to custom make me an insole that I purchased for current pair of Hokas. She was super friendly and knowledgeable. The added bonus was with the VIP membership I get to try the insoles for 90 days if for whatever reason I don't like them I could get a full refund. Now that's a win! This was my 1st experience w/a road runner sports store and I have to say that I am now a lifelong fan! If you are not familiar w/this store then I definitely suggest that you check it out. They have a extensive computerize system that they use to check out some facts about your feet & then they can match you to the perfect shoe for your needs. They also offer custom molded shoe inserts. This alone was pretty impressive! But the customer service that I received and personalized attention went far beyond the norm. They are a brand new store to the area but I have to say that they have trained their staff very well!
