The owner told me that my bag wasn't real leather. Which shocked me, but I trust him. And I appreciated the honesty. Still love the bag. But glad to know it's not made of leather. The second time I came in l had shoes that didn't feel like the soft genuine leather they claimed to be. So since l actually had to review these shoes, l knew exactly who would know best! He said they were definitely genuine and that they were pig skin. Hence why they were rougher. I had no idea that was even a thing. I appreciate his honesty and frankness. I will always highly recommend this shop and l know the owner said about a year ago he was looking to retire. I hope (selfishly) that he never does. But if he finds himself a replacement, l truly hope the next cobbler is just as good. I highly recommend this cobbler for honesty and expertise.
