Manager is the worst, never come here! She's rude and has no manners or customer service whatsoever. I said excuse me multiple times trying to get by another customer in the store and this manager decides to tell me to wait a second after I said "Excuse me miss" 5 times, I overheard the manager talking about me to the customer in front of my face as I'm trying to buy Uggs. I purchased a shoe not even two full days ago and I tried to exchange for a bigger size (one size bigger than purchased shoes) but was DENIED. The Manager of Journey's at the Temecula Promenade had TERRIBLE customer Service. She was RUDE. Not only did an employee 2 days prior say I could return it for up to a year, but she insisted that if the shoe doesn't fit to bring it back. I waisted 20 minutes driving to exchange this shoe. Honestly, worst experience ever. Some girl saw me walking towards the store and as soon as I walked in like 3 of them stared me down and asked if i needed help. I said no I was doing a return only. I went in this past Black Friday and it was so chaotic in there. I bought my daughter a pair of shoes and then when I got home I I was told my mom bought her the same pair so I had to go back return them and get her another pair of different shoes. I was helped so nicely and so professional they were so great two of the girls names were Caitlyn & the other Sergie that helped me, however, the whole team was great. The employees there are probably the worst I've ever encountered. So rude for no reason. One girl there with black hair who was working today (1/4/2026) at around1:00pm laughed in my face when I asked about a size.. what's so funny about that. Another customer asked her if a certain sale was still going on and just stared and nodded her head. I don't get how people like this still have a job or can even get one in the first place. I was tempted to go back and say something but I'll just leave it here. The manager was rude too. They didn't have the Uggs I liked in the women's section but they had them in the men's, so I asked if they had a size 7 in the color I wanted (since another color in men's was a 7) and she told me they only carry men's Uggs in a 9 and said it like I was stupid. Won't be shopping at this location anymore! Was greeted with sour looks and wasn't offered any help with sizing so I decided to try on a pair of uggs that was on the display since they were in my size and I was immediately yelled at that there's a sign that says no trying on display shoes and I looked all around to find the sign when I noticed a tiny sticky note no where near the uggs that I could hardly read even with my glasses on. Under stress it turns out I bought the wrong size and came back the very next day to exchange them for a different size and the cashier was really rude and then proceeded to look over my shoes for 10 minutes without saying a single word to me so I mentioned I just bought them last night and she said she needed to get her manager. I've been purchasing my Dr. Martins from this location since 2012. Sure, you can purchase Docs at many locations and certainly there are many Journey's in most malls and their on-line business is the same. The reason I go to this location is the staff and in particular, Casey Burns whom from my start in 2012 of going to this location, has been a joy to do business with. Everyone is helpful, cheerful and offer suggestions. I purchase about 2 pairs per year and will continue to do so. Thank you Casey and team, you are wonderful! read more

I had such a great experience while returning Dr Martens this store, I didn't think twice about getting a high valued gift card for my wife so she could pick out the Uggs in a style she would like. Well she went to use the card and they didn't have her size. She didn't use the card, but while in the store she accidentally left it behind. She didn't realize it until she got home that she had lost her card. After tearing apart the car, her pockets, purse and everything she thought it was for sure gone. She called the store the moment it opened and the manager couldn't find it. Disheartening, but she was told to call back later when the night shift who helped her the day before was in. Sure enough, they had put her card in an envelope and put it away for her. When she called this afternoon they knew who she was before she could even explain the situation. Christmas mall shopping can be horrific, so when my boyfriend and I strolled in to Journeys to check out new Chucks we got the pleasant surprise of stellar customer service and some laughs as a bonus which turned our hectic trip into a good time. First we got help from Jacob Eason who saved me from getting laces that were too short!!! Then Allison Peji stepped up and helped us look online for other shoe interests and found a winner!!!! All the while Alex 'Brown Kid' Gonzales kept us entertained with comedic knowledge of the inventory. All three made our experience fun and enjoyable and not only did we purchase a couple items but we will be back and hopefully these three will be there. Considering how busy and crowded stores get and how people can be rude or not be very helpful it's obvious these three enjoy their jobs and they go above and beyond for their customers. Very refreshing esp considering how young they are so whoever is in charge of scheduling you should make sure these three work as much as they want to lol or at least have them train everyone else so that every Journeys customer can have a great experience like we did! I ordered shoes in person a week ago and was told they'd be at my house in a week. After 6 days I check the tracking and it lists a totally different shoe. I ordered Doc martens and they're sending me vans. I mean I literally handed the guy the shoe I wanted and he typed it into the computer so I'm not sure what happened. Basically they just told me that sucks and I could return them once they come in. So I'm out $120, they haven't even shipped yet, and have to make another trip to the mall to return them once they're in? The person who ordered my shoes was nice enough in person and so was the person on the phone but honestly there was just no customer service whatsoever. They couldn't even order me the correct shoes they were originally supposed to order me because they are now out of stock. Overall I'm frustrated and annoyed. Ok so I went to purchase shoes . And I just wanted to look just in case I find some thing I liked. This young girl who worked there offered me some help . I mentioned that. I was just looking and she watched me look at different shoes there. And asked my size I told her . And she went to the back and grabbed some my size. I thought ok no problem she's trying to be helpful . She was really pushy and not helpful at all. I tried the shoes on because she brought them out even though I didn't ask for them . And as soon as I tried one shoe on she didn't even let me give my opinion , or take the shoe off and put it back in the box before ringing it up before me saying I didn't want them or her asking me if I wanted them . Her name is pricilla. And she was very pushy and manipulative and cared more about making some "goal" rather than making the customer happy or asking what I wanted.
