many things are over priced, no only carry diet drinks like the rest of the hospital, but their subs are a good.

I just took a sip and had to open it up because it both tasted acrid and had a grainy texture to it. I got a drip coffee with cream and carmel syrup. Unfortunately, I find myself at IU Health more than I'd prefer, but Tinker Coffee has become the new bright spot in my visits. I'm all about coupling the best with the worst So, what to expect? They're located across the hall from the main IU Health cafeteria. The space is currently undergoing renovations, but in the meantime, you can still grab drinks and some light snacks. I was told more food options were on the horizon. I love seeing Tinker as an option in place of the frou-frou coffee option (you know, coffee milkshakes...) that was previously in this space. The young woman I've encountered during my latest visits has been very personable (and handles the steady line of customers with ease). I look forward to visiting this spot every time I enter 550 University Boulevard. Bravo, Team Tinker!

I've walked by Good Vibes Cafe many times and was able to stop in and so glad I did! I got a large iced french toast latte and a strawberry croffle and both were so good! The French Toast Latte was good and a good balance of coffee and flavor. The croffle was great and wasn't overly sweet which I prefer especially early in the morning lol. The strawberries were fresh and delicious and I love that they offer dairy free options and not just in their milk but the whip that goes with the croffle is dairy free. The vibe is comfy and cosy! They're located on the 2nd floor and have plenty of space to sit and offer books to read and games to play. I'm glad they're close to where I work and will be back to try their other latte flavors!

Great! And they stuck to that- we were seated on time, but then the issues started. We were sat at the same time as another table of 4 next to us. We got our menus and put our drinks in... and then waited, and waited... I got a hot chocolate that wasn't even hot when I sipped it, and tasted pretty bland. My friends got coffees that they liked, but our waitress seemed so annoyed to be working there! She was very curt and I understand if you're busy, but maybe try for some customer service... We ordered our food (as did the table next to us) and waited soooo long, like 30+ minutes, and we were considering flagging down the wait staff to ask about it, but our waitress never seemed to even be around to ask questions... anyway, we finally got the food, and it was tasty, but I just don't think I would bother with this place again.

The salad bar has everything you could want - spinach, arugula, many toppings, fresh fruit, sunflower and chia seeds, plenty of meat including shrimp, and much more...for only $7.99 or $4.99 in addition to an entree. They have a healthy special of the day low in calories for around $5.99 - I like the salmon with cucumber sauce and peas. They have a regular special of the day as well. Once it was stuffed shells with chicken in Alfredo for $8.99 and that was great! On Fridays the salad bar becomes a hot buffet in addition to salad - sometimes it's BBQ (pulled pork, chicken, etc) or tacos, etc. All this plus salad bar is only $11.99. Their chili is one of the best bowls of chili I've had! I honestly have loved everything. Service is amazing. And Eskenazi employees get 10% off! They have a to-go Cafe Soleil next door as well. They are reserved for take-out pickup. I was circling for a while, trying to find parking, when I saw these spots. It makes actually visiting The AMP a bit easier! Anyway, I visited Tinker Coffee to get a hot tea. They have green jasmine tea, which is one of my favorite green teas because it tastes naturally sweet. No sweetener needed! Tinker also have Earl Grey, English Breakfast, Chamomile and Lavender Mint tea. I guess they also have coffee! I didn't get any this time, but I always like Tinker Coffee every time I get it. They did a collab with Jason and Chris of the How Long Gone podcast a few years ago, which has endeared me to them even more. Worlds colliding, and all that. I didn't see too much in the way of things to eat here. This Tinker Coffee location is strictly beverages. But that's OK, because if you want something to eat, you can take your pick from one of the several restaurants and shops located within steps of Tinker inside The AMP.

FYI to those who may have a physical handicap the prevents climbing steps, there are 2 sets of steps to enter the building, I didn't see any handicap accessible entry when I went there. The area to order coffee was really small and could comfortably fit about 5 people in the line inside the ordering station. There were places to stand in the foyer to wait as well, but in my opinion even though there is an open space in the foyer you could be potentially blocking someone's walking space since the ordering station is next to the entrance and the seating areas are in the entryway. I ordered their seasonal From the Past Latte w/ matcha and whole milk. They mentioned that the wait time to receive the drink was 10 minutes, which was understandable with how busy they were, but to my surprise I actually received my drink in half that time. The drink tasted great and if I was still in the area I'd go there again. I definitely noticed for such a small space, the staff were efficient and moved quickly to get everyone their correct orders. I was only annoyed bc I was so hungry, other than that- I didn't care about the wait bc I had nowhere to be.
