I'm surprised the overall rating is so low. I love these dogs. Kind of a depressing room and melancholy mood in the place ... the people behind the counter go about their business silently and sort of sadly, it seems. I usually find myself here in the late afternoon and there are usually only one or two other customers in there, eating solemnly by themselves. And there's always a TV on playing CNN or something. But the hot dogs are excellent and expertly prepared and all of the accoutrements (chili, sauerkraut, buns) are all perfect also. Also, on a brighter note regarding the atmosphere and mood, my favorite nephew Conor told me once that he was there at 3:00 a.m. on a Saturday night once and the place was packed with a huge extended family group who seemed to be there as an after-party to a Quinceañera, and everyone was wearing tuxes and gowns and half of them were under ten years old and it was a very happy and festive mood. So, maybe I'm just not going at the right time of day.

First time visitor. Did not know what to expect nor read any reviews before going in to the place. Walking in I realize it was nothing that was high tech or classy. Or ordered a western omelet which came with home fries and toast. I understand at 6am you can run a business with the cook accepting the money. But when I see the cook not wearing gloves when handling food. And you touching my toast with your bare hands that you just cooked over the grill and rung up my total on the register. I couldn't begin to eat the food. I am not about the rest. But I am one that thinks there is steps of decency establishment's can impose on staffs who your appointing to serve your customers. There was two buckets on the dining floor catching water from the leaking roof. And flies hovering around my food. I would not return to this place

I went into this place because I heard the hot dogs are really good. When I walked in it didn't look how I expected it to. It an old school cafeteria look. There was only 1 older guy working, he wasn't the friendliest, but I don't know if I would either if I was the cook and the cashier. I ordered my phone, it was decently priced. The hot dog was good. The fries were horrible. Seem like they sat in grease for hours. They taste very old as well. I probably wouldn't come here again.

For the dishes here, you build your own, but it's pretty simple. You pick your protein (beef, chicken, lamb, roast pork, fish, shrimp) then decide if you want it on a bun, over rice, on a salad, or on a platter, and add any of a whole bunch of toppings like onions, pickles, beans, fried egg, pico, bacon, mushrooms, jalapeños and others. Or you can build tacos! The angus burger is vey good. The fries are pretty standard, but the onion rings are thick, crispy and flavorful. I always have too many. The slow roasted pork is very good, and I always get it over the white rice, which is tossed with olive oil and cilantro. The rice is very aromatic,I think it's basmati.I also like the salmon, but sometimes it can be a little dry. This is probably due to getting it to go and it steams more in the packaging. We also really like the tacos, having tried the shrimp version, AND the fish tacos, AND the chicken, AND the pork. My mother would get the shrimp tacos over and over again, my favorite is probably the pork. You can have it with tons of toppings, which we usually do. I also had the Cuban sandwich and had no complaints. Lots of choices and ways to customize, mix and match, and keep it new each time. Probably something for everyone in a family with different tastes.

Ah, Sonic. You may fondly recall this fast food drive-in, where all that separates you from a hot…read moremeal and delicious desserts is a red button and a credit card. You still remember the way that bag of grease looked as it was wheeled to you by a teenager who just learned how to roller blade a few minutes ago. The way they somehow made it to your bumper, clutching your corn dogs and tots as they did their best newborn Bambi impersonation. Well cling to those memories like a minivan bumper, because you're getting none of that nostalgia here. At this Sonic, when you pull into a space and hit that "ready to order" button, you've created a mortal enemy in the employee on the receiving headset. "DRIVE THRU ONLY" they exclaim, exasperated that they have to tell you this, as you try and remember a time you've been gaslit more effectively. As you pull into the drive in, they remember the hatred they felt towards you just a few seconds prior. Their teenage angst is on full display, like a mid 2000s My Chemical Romance concert, shouting out "ANYTHING ELSE?!?" after every item you order. Why did you pull into their drive-thru in the first place?!? The only saving grace, aside from the friendly young woman who was handing out the food (and should have been handed the headset duties instead), is that the food came out hot. I suppose that's not a high bar to reach when you've thrown out the rest of the business model and have nearly zero customers. So if you're feeling like a drive-in, find a Stewart's. If you're feeling like a good conversation, go to your local diner. But if you're upset that nobody has made you feel like your presence offended them today, make sure to stop by Sonic Drive-Thru.

O M G just reading through the horrifying reviews of this place here now just makes me even more angry. The place continually closes 10-15 minutes before posted hours every day much to the chagrin of hungry customers - and more than a few of them !! I rolled through up to the drive thru window at 11:50 PM after a long event just looking for a hamburger, fries and a coke and was told they are "closed." Wierd because the driver in front of me, ordered and was picking up food ? So I drove around again - " closed came back" I said hey - it's not midnight and somehow shamed the "manager" into " whatever they had left." The person explained to me there that they had no fries at all and gave me a list of hamburgers left. When I went to pick up and queried as to why they closed early, I received a litany of excuses from the female "manager:"... 1.) it wasn't her fault, the manager makes her close early because he doesn't want to pay overtime 2.) the fryer and grill take too long to clean and they will be there too long 3.) they don't want to close at 11 pm and stay open too late ... I asked what the owner thought of them closing consistently early ? "Oh Ma. Angela owns it but does not interfere with the operation." Well, if absentee landlord Ms. Angela knew how much business she was losing because of her " managers," perhaps she would take her business investments more seriously...unless she has told them to close early .... Where do all those unsold food items go at the end of the evening ? Maybe home to the bambinos? Just appalling to be honest. Hopefully the franchise will wake up to this store and pull their participation. Something else would do quite nicely there - maybe even a chick' Fil-A?
