A coworker and I grabbed a table outside on a beautiful day, ordered some food, and while those were coming out, got to work. The waitress was lovely and got us the wifi password no problem. It worked perfectly even outside. The menu is such a wonderful mix of traditional breakfast and lunch items as well as some delicious looking, sounding (and tasting) Mexican dishes. I got the Balsamico wrap which was grilled chicken, mozzarella, roasted peppers, and sundried tomato pesto. It was DELICIOUS but much cheesier and decadent than I expected. I managed to get through half. It comes with either home fries or a salad and I of course went the home fries route. So so yummy. Those did not make it to the doggie bag. The space is big with lots of tables both inside and out. The service is wonderful and quick and the food is fantastic. Give them a try!

Me, mom, and Drusband came to celebrate my bday with a lazy brunch. Since it was a bit later in the day, we opted for sandwiches and salads and a side of French toast for the table. The food was delicious - the only disappointment was the turkey sausage. I have dreamt about the turkey sausage since the first time I had it. Imagine my surprise (mortal wound?) when I got it this time and it was nothing more than a turkey hot dog cut 4 ways. Like--this is embarrassing for both of us. Let's the bar high and deliver every time. Other than that supplier snafu we had an excellent time. The food was outstanding as well the service. Drusband created an elaborate but wholly believable ruse to get up from the table and unbeknownst to me used that time to tell the waitstaff it was my birthday. Next thing I know a woman rounds the corner with the most delectable mini Bundt cake - a treat that she said is homemade by a woman there who prepares them for special occasions. I was truly touched. I adore it here. Always feel welcome and I love being in a space with other Black people and people of color. Outside feels (and is!) very unsafe in this way right now. Service is great and you can scan the QR code for their menu. For brunch, they have a lot of options from crêpes to omelettes. This place is not a BYOB but they have plenty of non-alcoholic drinks and mocktails on the menu. Decor is modern, airy, and of course - pink! They also have a separate café and pastry counter if you're just stopping in and want something quicker instead of sitting down. On our most recent visit, I had the Dubai chocolate pistachio crêpe, and it was really delicious, not too sweet or too rich. And I also had the strawberry Matcha, which I enjoyed. I think this is a great spot for a weekend date, girls brunch, or just an every day indulgence. Looking forward to my next visit.

They have a large selection of fresh baked goods. They also prepare tamales and sandwiches. I sampled the marble pound cake, the pineapple cake, the coconut carrot cake, and the sweet croissants. The croissants were a little dry, but the cakes were moist and really delicious, and only $1.50 each for a huge serving. The "servings" are cut into quarters in the photo. Danny's Bakery is going to be one of my dessert resources on a regular basis.

Not like a lot of places where you gotta get Cold Brew just so you don't forget you got it and leave it on the corner of your desk until lunchtime. I expect to be in town more often and plan on making this my coffee shop of choice.
