Was in the mood for doughnuts and husband found this place. Can't believe I never heard of this place before. I was able to make my own doughnut flavor combo, and loved it. We also got the Chocolate Oreo and Pina Colada doughnuts and I was surprised that it was made there on the spot. Everything was so warm and fresh. Will go back again! Service was nice too...a lot of patience with my decision making...hehe
Super friendly cashier and great flavor selection. If you eat these donuts warm they are 100% five-star worthy. They were so freaking good. We didn't finish ours in the first sitting and when we went back in for another few bites about 2 hours later, they didn't hit the same. Definitely should be eaten fresh. As for the flavors, we really liked the Blueberry Pancake and the Cookie Butter. Would for sure recommend this place and would return.
I love this place! Their donuts are next level. Customers can watch the staff making fresh donuts behind the counter. It doesn't get fresher than this! After eating donuts here, I don't even enjoy donuts from most other places. The staff here is really nice too. Also the coffee is great and the self serve milk/creamer is in a mini fridge, which I think is much safer than milk that's just sitting in a tray of ice. The store is clean and inviting.
Family in the area has been saying I need to try this when I visit and we finally made it over there. The shop is in a strip mall along route 22 on the eastbound side. When you walk in it is bright and cheerful. I like the concept of designing your own donut. You start with a freshly made plain donut, then choose what type of coating you would like from types like glazed, vanilla icing, cinnamon sugar and much more. Then pick a topping like Oreo cookie crumbles, sprinkles, chopped bacon among other options and top it off with a drizzle. But if that's too much for you, they have favorite predesigned donuts. And you can just choose what flavor combo sounds delicious to you. You don't have to get too many. They are very flavorful and very filling. I also tried a breakfast sandwich, bacon, egg and cheese in a bagel and it was quite tasty. The staff was polite and helpful and we got our items pretty fast.
The smell emanating from the box on the drive home almost made me pull over and eat one in the car. The wait was worth it, next to a glass of cold milk the Chocolate Explosion looked almost too good to eat (almost). I ate it, and I loved every bite of the fluffy still warm plain donut that acted as the perfect food pillow for the figurative explosion of chocolate flavor due to the toppings of chocolate icing, Oreo crumbles and then hot fudge drizzle. A perfect afternoon snack!
TLDR: must try the maple bacon donut! So many seasonal flavors! Freshly made donuts to order! Duck Donuts is easily one of my favorite donut places of all time! I came in to get just one maple bacon donut but when I saw all of the other flavors on the menu I got too excited and bought a half dozen for myself. While the donuts were fresh and warm I took 1/6 of each flavor and built a frankendonut. It was delicious! All the flavors: - maple bacon: my number one pick! Perfectly sweet maple glaze with crispy bacon on top. The cake donut base was also perfectly airy and moist to me - apple pie: classic apple pie filling in the center. Sweet and cinnamony - pumpkin streusel: love the added crunch from the streusel. I love pumpkin pie, pumpkin bread, pumpkin muffin so this donut fit right in with my other fave pumpkin treats - blueberry pancake: I love a pumpkin pancake so I was curious to try it in donut form. I loved it. The blueberry flavor was just right! - s'mores: I really wanted to love this donut because I love eating s'mores but the chocolate and marshmallow icing on the donut was a bit too sweet for me - cookies and cream: love the crunchy cookie bits! Again the chocolate icing was a bit too sweet for me but I wouldn't have the donut any other way! I've been back here many times to bring some treats back to my family, friends and coworkers!
I mean how can you go wrong with hot and fresh doughnuts? My favorite place to get them, I make sure to go everytime I'm in this area, maple bacon is my favorite (obvs) service is always nice, I'd try to go early to get a fresh batch
Where has this place been all my life!?!?!!! Noticed this was on the way to an errand and made it a friend meet up. There was only one person working upon entering the space but everything occurred really quickly. I ordered a 1/2 dozen of the signature donuts because I'm basic and would not have gotten creative. I knew they said the donuts were warm but THEY ARE WARM! I was so exited to grab my box. The presentation was great and the taste was even better. They are smaller than what I expected but turned out to be the perfect size. I ate 4 of the 6 in one day and I'm not all the way ashamed about it. They are taking a lot of measures to respond to COVID-19 which I appreciate. In the future I would order in advance but for my 1st, I wanted to have the experience.
4.5!! First time here and my gosh, REMARKABLE. The dough of the donut is delectable. Everything added on top is just extra. Went in the afternoon, was empty. I got the PB donut, Smores donut & a custom vanilla glaze, rainbow sprinkles with marshmallow glaze. The others are the ones my friend got (which also tasted good, just sweet). Really solid donuts, no complaints! Can't go wrong with customizable AMAZING quality donuts!
Truly incredible that for the same price as other donut shops, you get a made to order, made from scratch, FRESH donut. A hot, fluffy, melt in your mouth donut is the closest you can come to tasting heavens; yes, this Duck Donut will give you wings Now, everyone's tastes are different (which makes Duck Donuts truly special because the degree of customization is almost incalculable). HOWEVER, I would highly recommend starting off with something simpler. I had a completely PLAIN donut and it was AMAZING. Honestly, a plain donut with maybe just a drizzle of honey or dusting of cinnamon would be enough to leave me happy. Then again, there really is something to be said about hot, ooey gooey icing. The "Sunrise" with its tangy raspberry stripes was way better than iced options from other donut shops. Once a donut has been sitting around for hours, it loses flavors and the sugar gets to be too much. I never felt like gagging while eating Duck Donuts; honestly, I feel like Duck Donuts is redeeming the tarnished name of donuts. No longer are they the gross, greasy guilt trap they used to be. Duck Donuts has elevated the donut to a dessert on the same plane as macaroons and cheesecake. I can't imagine myself ever eating a donut again if it's not from Duck Donuts
Finally got the chance to try this place last weekend and i was not disappointed. I'm not the biggest donut fan nor have the sweetest tooth but I loved my donuts. Everything is customizable, so you can get the donuts plain or decked out with the works. I bough 1/2 a dozen ( 1 is never enough ) and the cashier was so helpful with helping me choose what toppings to add to my donut. I ended up choosing the 6 most popular donuts and I loved them all. The lemon icing one was especially delicious. The price was also reasonable. I saved the ones I didn't eat in the fridge for a couple of days and just warmed them up in the microwave when I was ready to eat them. I can't wait to try the location closest to me.
Delicious would be an understatement for Duck Donuts. It was my first time there and I literally cannot choose just six for my half a dozen. They had a variety of flavors you can pick from or you can crate your own. The choices were endless and I love places like this. I would never get bored because I tend to float around and try most flavors. They came out pipping hot because they are made as ordered. I kid you not, my box had heat coming out of it. I could not wait so I had popped one in once I had gotten into my car. The flavors were really good and I should've gotten some coffee to go along with these delectable treats. I would def come again!

1 x Coffee Cake 1 x Maple Bacon 1 x Peanut Butter Paradise 1 x Blueberry Pancake 1 x The Boardwalk 1 x Bacon in the Sun 1 x French Toast 1 x S'mores 1 x Cookies & Cream 1 x Blueberry Streusel 1 x Cookie Crumble I ordered online and it was ready within a half an hour. I got the box handed to me and it was still warm and freshly made. Dunkin' Donuts is perfect for a small party favor if you don't wanna go somewhere empty-handed. And a lot fresher than other competing donut shops. If you are particular about certain flavors, there is an option to customize a half dozen or a dozen. I chose custom and picked a flavor that I think at least one person at my party would love. Duck donuts, I will be returning thank you so much! read more

First timer . I wanted to go and visit this place for a long time . Well located right on Rt22.. lots of parking outside .. very good location: interiors is very good . Lots of space and tables inside . Loved the service .. the guy was very helpful . He explained us the ingredients and menu . Ice cream with donut was soooo good . We got strawberry shortcake ice cream with donut . We also had a classic donut with ice cream zz both were very good . coffee was average though. Didn't like it much . Will surely go back for the donuts and ice cream and not for coffee . 4 stars read more

If I could give this place 6 stars, I would! This place serves fresh, hot donuts among other items. I've personally only had a variety of their donuts, and I can say they're the best donuts I've had recently. They can be a bit pricey, but I guess you're paying for quality, so it makes up for it. They offer boxes with different counts, or you can buy a single if that's what you desire. They fry the donuts fresh per order. Great quick service! As you can see in the picture i couldn't even wait to eat one! 10/10 recommend! read more

Super fresh and creative flavors. I've been wanting to try Duck Donuts for awhile now and finally passed one. Donuts are fried and frosted right in front of you. Really can't beat the freshness. My favorites that I tried were their maple bacon and boardwalk. It would be dangerous if I lived closer to one of their locations. Now I need to get back to my diet! read more

It doesn't get fresher than this! Delicious and hot made-to-order donuts, and what makes it even more exciting are the different flavor possibilities. You can choose a donut from the menu, or customize your own with different icing/topping/drizzle combos. Note that each donut has the same cakey base, but the toppings make all the difference. I ordered a variety of donuts off the menu for friends and they were a huge hit. I personally loved the blueberry icing with lemon drizzle the best, but the vanilla icing with oreo crumbles and hot fudge drizzle was definitely one of the most popular ones. For the biggest WOW factor, get the maple icing with chopped bacon! You can't go wrong with any of the donuts here. They all taste delicious, but obviously best eaten hot and fresh right after you order them. read more

Freshly made to your specifications, and YES!! That means bacon!! What's not to love? On the east bound side of route 22 in Greenbrook, it is worth the drive. After chowing on a maple and bacon which had ample bacon and a wonderful moist but dense vanilla donut, I can say.. F&$&@"/ well done!!! read more

I must say I had low expectations for this place. Not a big fan of donut chains where the base of every donut is the same kinda meh donut with just too much toppings piled on. But... my experience today was anything but! The staff is so friendly and welcoming. The menus were helpful for considering the overwhelming number of combinations available. And it's a very small thing, but the area to plan and write your order down before going to the counter was so helpful! The actual donuts were fresh and warm, which I wasn't expecting! Con, it makes for a messier experience with little ones, but it was definitely worth the clean up required. We got 4 great donuts and an iced coffee. The staff made a small mistake with our order, but it was remedied easily and they were very apologetic. Thought it was odd to not have any tables inside, but I'm guessing still recovering from Covid protocol. The benches outside were lovely nonetheless. Everything was delicious. It's a bit out of the way for us typically, but it would be worth another trip for sure. read more

Been waiting to come here for a while. Got a bunch of donuts all unique in their own way! Our son really loved it. We got 2 boxes of dozen each mixed flavors, party box for one. Told the staff to surprise us and definitely did not disappoint. Donut itself it super fluffy, not heavy or too oily and melts in your mouth. For sure 9.4/10 I would say. Me personally had the blueberry one and loved it, my son had the chocolate one and he really liked it! Will be back here for sure!!! The vibe inside is truly on point as well, great job. read more
Who doesn't love fresh made donuts, and oh - also customized on the spot if you wish? This place definitely aims to pleas with a variety of glazes and toppings to choose from; or, just pick from their menu. I'd say a way for about a dozen donuts from ordering is probably around 5 ish minutes as they literally make it fresh on the spot. The only downside to this is that the donut is very hard to eat without making a total mess. The donuts come out warm and fresh from the fryer (yummmmm), and are glazed with whatever your hearts desire (my fave was the smores), but definitely expect this to drip and smear all over! I'd say these donuts are more of a cake style donut, where the texture is that of, well...a cake - best to eat with a fork (and cleaner for sure). read more

Different kind of donut. A little pricey for a piece of donut, but sometimes it's good to indulge. I bought half dozen donuts, peanut butter, bacon, blueberry pancake, chocolate marshmallow. So good!!! My son loved them. The place is clean, and the manager is very friendly. Try this place for donuts. read more

Came here on a sunday afternoon to try this place out. My sister and i went up tp the counter and this guy asked us what we wanted to order. I said "were not ready yet its our first tim", and he walked away with no explanation of the system. Then another older Caucasian couple came in and a younger gentlemen took their order and explained the system to them. This is where it got awkward because no one explained anything to us. As we were ease dropping on the conversation, the guy came to us and then explained how the system worked. Fast forward, we ordered 12 donuts in a variety pf flavors. I like the fact that their hot and fresh. The customer service needs work but all in all the donuts are good. I like the blueberry and french toast donuts. read more

I had stopped here before and the lines were out the door. I knew they were worth it, so I stopped on during the week on a Tuesday. It was completely empty. Lucky me!! I went to the counter and the friendly attendant asked if I have been there before. I said no she proceeded to explain how I had the ability to chose the components of my donuts. I decided on half a dozen. I got glazed with bacon topping, maple on blueberry, cinnamon with chocolate, she put in a couple of suggestions that I immediately agreed to. I checked it on Yelp and offer was get a free donut with your purchase. I showed the attendant and she spoke with manager, I was given a rain check for half a dozen donuts for my next visit. So excited I drove home, waited patiently for my husband to get home and my son came over to visit and we cut each donut into three pieces. I must strongly recommend to get yourself Duck Donuts they are sooooo goood!! You will be Amazed and Addicted!! I would definitely go back this week!! Thank you Duck Donuts for opening one near me!! read more

My favorite place for donuts! I've been here quite a few times since they opened last year and the donuts are great every time... What more can you ask for... fresh custom made to order donuts served by a wonderful friendly staff. I always go with the peanut butter bacon and French toast combos. On this trip they had some new holiday suggestions so I tried the mint icing with Oreos and hot fudge drizzle and it was delicious! Just grab some napkins and maybe a fork and knife on the way out because they are best when fresh just a little messy. You can always reheat in the microwave for a few seconds and they are still delicious. Sometimes a little busy on the weekend mornings but so worth the wait! read more

What is the best donut flavor here?
You can't go wrong with any of the flavors. Especially since you can create your own topping combinations. I'm big on cookies and creme in general so I enjoyed that donut.
