Great everything whole wheat bagel, with bacon, egg, & cheese. Wow. Since moving from New York, I'm always on the search for a good bagel. I found a few places that are acceptable. Manhattan Bagel nailed it. So delicious. Nice soft flavorful bagel. I cant say enough. The team at the counter were great keeping track of orders. Nice store. Plenty of tables. Very clean. I have been at this location three times since they opened. They have gotten my order wrong all three times. My order is simple: plain bagel, lox, tomato, VERY LIGHT cream cheese and not toasted. I always order at the counter. Every time I've been there they left something off, put on heavy cream cheese that I have to scrape off before I can eat it, or they leave off the tomato. Today they ONLY got the cream cheese right. It was a really "skinny" sandwich with barely any lox on it, no tomato even though I asked for it, and the bagel was toasted when I told them NOT to toast it. As usual I ordered at the counter, spoke clearly and was very specific. He even ASKED me if I wanted it toasted and I said NO very clearly. The bagel was good, but everything else was wrong. They have had their three strikes - I won't be going back. Bagel Bazaar in Bound Brook near Shop Rite is excellent. It's a short drive - go there instead. read more

I picked up a Too Good To Go order at 2p here 2w ago & am so very happy the service told me about this nearby location of their central NJ chain! Their quality of bagel is tops with the right touches of boiling vs frying, soft vs hard, flavor variety, and savory vs sweet. The location is quite new with all the well maintained touches that a modern bagel place should have with particular nod to its nice patio area outside, fit for a later month. The staff are very responsive and quick and the exciting interior begs for a discovery of their many many items well beyond bagels and breakfast into the lunchtime, too. The menu creatively uses bagels to launch into a wide array, taking what is the customization and classic ingredients of a classic bagel place with all the modern ideas of so many food cultures. Parking is very easy & plentiful, the location is extremely convenient to multiple major roadways of the area, and the brand has many other locations throughout the region. I cannot recommend Manhattan Bagel of Bridgewater enough! The staff was absolutely wonderful to work with from start to finish, making the entire process seamless(including concern for an allergy). We needed catering for a group of active dancers very early in the morning, and they exceeded every expectation! ​It was freezing cold outside, so having them deliver right to us st our hotel was a massive relief. The Breakfast Sandwich Box and the Broadway Bagel Box gave our dancers the necessary fuel to perform their best, and the two boxes of coffee were a lifesaver for the moms navigating the chaos of the day. So we finally had a chance to try this place. We were very disappointed we ordered a classic with ham and cheese and a avocado veg out. My husband's classic had only ham and cheese no egg. My avocado veg out was ok. It could have had more cream cheese. The ham on my husband's bagel was very salty. The bagels were not crispy. You wouldn't get a bagel like this in Manhattan. I had the simplest order. Untoasted bagel with cream cheese and iced coffee with half-n-half. So basic. Took forever, everyone working looked confused. The girl gave me half coffee and half 1/2-n-1/2, so i had her make it proper with just s splash of half-n-half. I will stick with local mom and pop bagel places. read more

Have been here many times since their opening. Wait staff are super nice always. These bagels are a good bit smaller than the ones that we are used to in the area, this is a big thing for me, I actually can eat a whole bagel. Their veggie spread is delicious and a blt on an everything bagel hits the spot. Their whitefish salad is really good. They have a wide selection of different flavored ones, breakfast sandwiches, sweet treats and a great lunch menu. It's on the far end of Somerville, but just on the border. I stopped in to this new Manhattan Bagel in Bridgewater. It's only been open for 5 months. Everything here is neatly displayed. They have plenty of tables for eating in and lots of room to move around for Strollers and Wheelchairs. Manhattan Bagel in Bridgewater makes all their own bagels in house. They're NY style. The bagels are boiled then baked. Their bagels are fresh and delicious. My favorites are their Everything Bagel, and their Egg Everything Bagel. Both are loaded with tons of flavor.They have a crisp outside with a soft and chewy center. I chose to get an Everything Bagel with Onion and Chive Cream Cheese. I thoroughly enjoyed my bagel. I also got a Small Vanilla Hazelnut Coffee. It too was very good. My bf got their Everything Bagel with Bacon, Egg, and Cheese and an Ice Tea. He too thought the bagels were very good. They make all kinds of Bagel Sandwiches, Deli Style Lunch Sandwiches, Fruit Smoothies, Fruit and Yogurt,Regular Style Coffees, Specialty Coffees, like Macchiato, Cold Brew, Hot Cocoa, Lemonade, Ice Tea, Juice and Milk, Gatorade,and Sodas. They have plenty of Free Parking in their lot. You can download their app and order ahead and have it waiting for pickup. The entire order is wrong. I ordered the Classic Lite, which is a bagel thin with turkey bacon egg white and cheese. I got a regular bagel with sausage, not even sure if it's turkey so we can't even eat it. read more

I came here for a Too Good to Go order and actually bought lunch and an iced coffee too. (First time - I usually just grab my Too Good to Go bag and leave) The staff were very friendly, the space was large and inviting, the prices were great for the sandwiches. ($8 for a pastrami sandwich on a rye bagel with a bag of chips and a pickle is pretty good if you ask me) And the sandwich was really good! I'm sometimes skeptical of chains like this when it comes to bagels and sandwiches but I was very pleased. I have to say this is the saddest excuse for a bagel around here. I ordered a bagel with butter , only to find out that the bagel had a huge hole in the middle. I could almost fit my fist through there. It almost was the size of a bracelet. I have been to other bagel shops around here and all of them give a full sized bagel for the same price.
