    small butter. medium cream cheese.
    Brittany P.

i've had bagel garden before when others brought it to a function and it's delicious ! i was driving past today and stopped to grab food to bring to the beach. i ordered 4 bagels - 1 multigrain. 1 plain. 1 everything wheat & 1 sesame seed. with a medium plain cream cheese and a medium sized chicken salad. it was $19 - which okay, sure. kind of steep but i know it's delicious. the chicken salad is amazing and fresh. very good - i expected that to be a higher price point. after i got my original ordered i decided to ask for a small side of butter. it was $3.50 - for a small side of butter. i'll be hoping someone brings snacks from here the rest of my life, due to pricing i wont be the purchaser.

A classic New Jersey bagel joint. Bagels are always fresh and the people are friendly. Plenty of tables to eat there or take it to go. The jalapeño on top of the bagel had great flavor and nice heat.

Classic NJ bagel shop. The bagels are fresh and delicious. On a busy Saturday morning it is hopping, but they keep that line moving quickly and orders are correct. Workers are fairly friendly, coffee is good, and they make a great pork roll, egg and cheese. Can you beat that? The outdoor seating area is a bit lacking and outdoor garbage is often overflowing. But there's plenty of parking and there's so many bagel flavors.

Everything bagel with plain cream cheese

This review is on behalf of my daughter: 'this is the best bagel place in town, they put a lot of cream cheese which I love, 5 stars!'

Friendly atmosphere. Delicious bagel sandwiches. Can be crowded on weekend mornings so just plan ahead but it will be worth the wait.

So upon doing my research I came across this restaurant. Now of course upon reading reviews everyone said to get there early because the line can get long especially on a Saturday and Sunday morning. So we arrived around 8:30 on Saturday and we were seated right away because it was only two of us . The service was excellent we were seated right away . Our waiter came out and gave us the rundown of the menu . They had a promo menu because of the Devil Wears Prada movie . I did get a specialty non alcoholic drink from the menu which was excellent. We ordered the French toast and the avocado toast with scrambled eggs and it came with smoked salmon on sourdough bread . The French toast was so good and moist you didn't even need to add additional syrup . The food was delicious and the portion sizes are perfect . The restaurant is cozy so if you have a big party make reservations. But you won't be disappointed I can't wait to visit Brunch by De Martino again whenever I come back to New Jersey . Please check them out you won't regret it .

My family and I have been supporting the Martino's Cuban Restaurant family restaurants for years,…read moregoing back to the original Martino's from his dad's side (which we truly miss). So coming here carries a bit of nostalgia for us. This concept feels very different from the original. It's definitely a more modern, upscale take. Portions are smaller, prices are higher, and the menu feels more elevated with a mix of Cuban-inspired and American flavors rather than strictly traditional Cuban comfort food. That said, the food is genuinely very good. The Cuban sandwich was easily one of the best we've had in New Jersey. Unlike many places that mostly use ham with a thin layer of pork, this one had thick, flavorful pieces of pork that made it feel much more authentic. A few other favorites: - The tostones with guacamole were a great starter. - Their chocolate latte used to be one of our favorites (sadly it seems to have been replaced by a raspberry chocolate version, which wasn't for us). - The seasonal pumpkin iced latte was excellent. - The strawberry banana waffles were more than enough to share. - The scrambled eggs and thick-cut bacon were fresh and delicious. We spent about $140 for breakfast for a family of four, so it's definitely on the pricier side, but it felt fitting for a special occasion like Mother's Day. A heads-up: reservations are only accepted for parties of six or more, so smaller groups are first come, first served. On Mother's Day, we waited about an hour after arriving at 8:30 AM, but their digital waitlist system made it easy to track our place in line while running errands nearby. Do we miss the old Martino's? Absolutely. The larger portions and casual family feel were special to us. But this restaurant offers something different--more polished, more curated, and still very enjoyable. I'd recommend it for brunch dates, family celebrations, or when you want to treat yourself.

The chef started us off with an amuse-bouche, a soup served in an espresso mug. As an appetizer, we had the crispy foraged maitake mushroom. It was very light and crispy, it reminded me of the coating on really good cod for fish and chips. Cocktail wise, I started off with the Alpine old fashioned which they smoked and my wife had a glass of Pinot Noir. For our entrees, my wife had the special which was a salmon with a parsley crust and fingerling potatoes. I went with the sea scallops with honey nut squash and maple-bacon jam. Both were very good. For dessert, we had a three cheese cheesecake and the Mexican chocolate soufflé. We enjoyed both. The soufflé was very good even without the vanilla-bourbon anglaise. The staff were all very friendly, from the valet at the front door, to the young women that took our coats, and the waitstaff that took our orders, filled our drinks and cleared the flatware. They had the fireplace going. There are sconces on the wall providing subtle lighting, along with small, cordless lamps on the tabletops. Since it's only about 15 minutes away, we'll probably return, even if it's just to hang out at the bar.

I was looking for a good baguette in my neighborhood for a while. But as simple as a baguette may seem, making a tasty one is an art. I was running some errands when I suddenly felt pekish. I saw on Yelp that there was an "authentic French bakery" nearby and decided, "Why not?" Originally, I was thinking of getting a quiche, but as I got into the store, I decided to switch to an avocado egg sandwich. I am sure quiche is good, but I was impressed by the sandwich. It came on the plate with very fresh salad greens. Greens there fresh and sauce tangy, just what one needs to cut through the richness of avocado and egg. I think I had an entire Avacado cut on it. The avocado itself was just right. But the star of the show, for me, was a baguette! I inhaled the entire dish and asked if they sell baguettes on their own, which they do. The bakery associate told me they just ran out, but they are baking new ones now. If I wait 10-15 minutes, I will get a freshly baked one. I could not believe my lack. They came as promises and they were great, just smell alone was to die for There are so many other things I want to try, so I'll definitely be back. Thank you guys, you all made my day!
