Red Red Tomato House Special Pizza

Good experience. Parking was a little tricky, but managed to find street parking in front. Pretty good pizza. We got the red tomato pizza house special. It was tasty. Good crust. Friendly staff. Order, pay, and find your seat, in the spacious dining room. We also had the mac and cheese, but it was a little bland.

They have gave permission and booking to shoot a short film before their restaurant opens!!! Amazing!!!

They do so much for their community and beyond being a family owned business, creating generational wealth, THEY WANT EVERYONE TO WIN!!! Incredible pepperoni pizza! Service was great. Atmosphere is cool. Great music. I love this place! Many will disagree with me on this, but I believe Red Tomato Pizza House is the best pizza place in Berkeley. Check them out! Wife loved the macaroni and cheese. The garlic twists are amazing. Folks, check this place out NOW!!!!

First of all this places is super in compliance with the COVID-19 rules. This spot is in a great location as well. When we arrived at Red Tomato Pizza House I was greet by a very nice lady. I placed my order and my sister and I waited for a little while but we ordered a lot lol I ordered a meat lovers personal pizza, garlic twists, medium farmers medley, and a medium build your own. The ingredients on the pizzas were amazing! I'm sad I don't live closer. The garlic twists were delicious and I wish I ordered more. That's what you get for being nice and sharing. When we received our order we were told we got a little extra something which were the brussel sprouts. I love brussel sprouts so that was a great surprise for me. They were perfectly seasoned. I couldn't stop eating them. I will be back again for sure! This will be a go to spot when I'm in Berkeley.

First time placing an order through Door Dash. A simple order (Pesto Pine-Nut Vegan Pizza Small and Pesto Twists) Received wrong twists. $40 I paid through Door Dash you would think they can put in the effort in getting it right especially for paying so much money for little food and no service.

This place is great for a late night snack. My friends and I stopped by after an event and between us we ordered a vegan pepperoni pizza, a chicken tandoori pizza, and a pepperoni and spinach pizza. I appreciated that the ingredients tasted fresh and the vegan pizza my friend ordered was actually really good ! It was clean on the inside if you want to dine-in but we did take ours to go. It is street parking but it wasn't too bad finding a spot. Check this business out if you haven't tried it.

Personal meat lovers pizza in front. Meat Lovers Gluten Free Pizza in back.

I got the Yelp event personal sized meat lovers pizza and ordered a small meat lovers gluten free with anchovies. They put a lot of meat on the pizzas. It's well worth it. The crust is not thin so a little doughy inside. I would go back for sure.

Two delicious personal sized vegan goodies

Chicken was seasoned and crisped to perfection and the fluffy bun, sauce and slaw brought it all together. The wings were also another favorite. Very crispy and well seasoned. We also had the Combo Thai Curry Chicken Katsu Rice Plate. Chicken was okay here. Not as crisp as the sandwich or wings so it fell short from the "katsu" category. The curry was really flavorful and the Brussels sprouts were good too! Garlic noodles were a little oilier than average but had good flavor. There are a few tables to dine in but not many. You order at a window and go pick up from there too so there's no table service and if you need anything you need to go ask and wait in the same line people are ordering in. We ended up being told they were closing early so we ended up rushing through our meal. More like a 3.5/5 but the chicken sandwich earns it the 4 stars.

The spicy pork bibimbap a great meal, large in size, I ended up sharing this bibimbap on order to try out other menu items. The pork had a mild spice to it and the egg was runny which mixed well with the other components. This is my second favorite item. But my first favorite would have to be the rice tacos. We ordered a trio of salmon, tuna and crab salad. The shell was nice and crispy, and not hard like a rice cake. And the filling was delicious. the only downside is this is messy to eat. I tried two honey butter wings, a sweet flavor, and another time I tried the "sweet cheddar". Both were excellent, hopefully I can try the Yangnyeom next time for some spicy flavor. Finally the raw salmon and onion kimbap was great. I would equally put the wings and kimbap as my third favorite for ordering. Service was fast, ordering is easy. Not your traditional Korean restaurant as it is more a fusion with their bibimbap and rice tacos. The salmon was the star for the rice tacos as the ahi felt a bit plain and dry the second time around. The kimbap was available as a half or full order so we went for a non-traditional raw salmon. My niece loved the crispy chicken with cheese, that she couldn't stop eating it and I admit they were addictive, so crispy but still juicy. When you get the bibimbap for takeout, they are very mindful to separate the hot from the cold portion which was great.

As a group of 2, we decided to share the kimchi pancake appetizer that came with kimchi and various banchan. The pancake was delicious, savory, cheesy and a great addition with the dipping sauce. I also appreciated the kimchi that paired nicely together with the pancake. For the main, I ordered the spicy chicken bibimbap. Here, you can adjust your spice tolerance to preference - my tolerance is high but I decided to go for the medium level. The bibimbap came out in a hot and sizzling dish so just be careful if you're sensitive to hot foods! After waiting for it to cool down a bit, I mixed the layers around and was happy to get the crunchy rice at the bottom of the dish. The chicken was a good balance of spicy but not too overpowering. Depending on the preparation, you might be used to having bibimbap with sauce that you mix in, but this variation already has everything combined within the pot. It also comes with a small side of tofu soup, which was piping hot but so worth it as it was spicy and comforting. I really enjoyed all of the bold flavors with each dish and I'm excited to come back again to try something new!

The walkway to order your food is also stunning and, in the shade, so you don't have to worry about the sun hitting you. It's perfect for sitting down with family and friends to relax while you eat brunch. Not only that but the food was honestly amazing. Everything tasted fresh, high-quality, and homemade. The French Toast was perfectly fluffy and slightly crispy on the edges, the eggs were cooked exactly right, and the Chicken and Waffles were the perfect balance of crispy and flavorful. The brunch options were just as impressive; there was a great variety of food, generous portions, and it was beautifully presented. You can tell a lot of care goes into both the taste and the experience. I found myself looking around to see what other people ordered, and I had to stop myself from ordering more because of how good it all looked, but I did sneak in another Quesabirria into my order. I will most definitely be coming back to order more, and on an emptier stomach, so I can eat without stopping. The service here really stood out and made the whole experience even better. From the start, we were greeted with genuine smiles and were even generous enough to change our seating because the sun was hitting our faces. Our server, Arnold, was incredibly attentive without ever being overbearing. He checked in at just the right times, kept our drinks constantly refilled, and made sure everything came out exactly how we ordered it. They were also super knowledgeable about the menu, gave great recommendations, and were patient when we had questions. It didn't feel rushed at all. They really let us enjoy our time, which is exactly what you want from a brunch spot. He even gave us a French toast for the unfortunate sitting, and it was the best French toast I've ever had. What makes this place truly amazing is that, for it only being opened for 3 years, it's truly impressive how much they have accomplished and will definitely be coming back to further support this family business. 10/10
