    Salmon Entree

Overall a decent place to eat. The broccoli with my ribeye steak was to die for. Cooked perfectly. My loaded potatoe was not so great. It was hard and undercooked. I even had the waiter warm it up for me and it was still luke warm and hard. Like you had to smash it down with your fork to have it soft baked potato. But I like the way the chefs put some char in the ribeye steak. The salad they serve with your entree is old school like and the thousand island dressing was the bomb.. it had a great garlicky taste to it that was delicious. Next time I am here I will come back again. She really liked her salmon as well. Oh and her wine pour was weak as well. We saw some locals who got twice the wine pour. Wahhhh..

We agree with all the good reviews for this place. This was our third dinner here, and like other visits we loved every bite. You get a very fair amount, and the prices are not outlandish. I went off my grid and had their Philly Wrap, and will have this again! Really beefy, but it was lighter with the wrap instead of a large roll. That allowed me to sample Hubby's breaded fish filets, and they were excellent, flakey and not greasy at all. Friday Clam Chowder offering had nice chunks of clam in it. This was a nice date night destination, sitting at the bar watching tournament basketball on several TVs about.

Friday night my boyfriend and I wanted to grab a burger and then check out the casino. We waited to be seated and it took a while, some employees noticed us standing but wouldn't come check us in. We almost ended up seating at the bar but Finally a waiter came up and set us down.. (she ended up not being our waiter) Once we got seated Gabby' our waiter was very polite and took out order. Our order came out and I had add for extra pickles on my burger. And they did just that. The fries are really good here and the burger was perfect.. my boyfriend has ordered the mushroom burger with coleslaw, but he ended up with fries and gabby brought him the coleslaw right away. She was very nice . The place is great for a late night bite and drinks. It's spacious. They have TVs in the bar and around the restaurant.

This was good casino dining, which can be hard to find. Loved how they were slightly off the gambling floor, and their ventilation system was amazing--having folks smoking within a few yards of the dining area. And the set-up was really comfortable, with Western motifs and a strong lean to sports bar atmosphere. We ordered off the Appetizers menu, and got far more than we expected. Chips and Queso were just that, but their wings were kitty-cat massive, and their Navajo Taco was pretty darned robust, with Buffalo Chili as the focus. Flavors were fine on everything. Special mention for their house made Spicy Raspberry sauce for their wings. It was a long day for us, and this comfort food hit the spot for din-din...

This was a great spot for us to stop in for a late lunch. The service was great and the food was good. It came really quick and was hot. We started off with a chicken wing appetizer and queso and chips. I had the BLT sandwich. It had so much bacon on it ! Husband ordered the jalapeño burger. He said it was the best Burger he had eaten in a long time. Prices were fair and we enjoyed the atmosphere. Clean and lots of choices from the menu. Check out the photos of our food.

There's a beautiful river rock fireplace that makes this area feel like a ski lodge. It's all very clean and bright. We were seated right away and given menus. I ordered a half Chef's salad and it was good, but pretty standard. I asked the server for extra blue cheese and they added it, as you can see from the pic. My friend ordered the fish tacos and initially thought there was too much food but she ended up eating it all. She thought they were really good and liked the Sriracha cream addition. I did notice that there would be a fee of $2.50 to split any dish.

    Fry bread, the wrong way
    Dorothy G.

Friendly staff, excellent stew, but don't get the fry bread. It was a lump of dense dough deep fried. Literally FRIED BREAD, It was so disgusting, like a sponge of grease. It wasn't anything close to traditional fry bread which is a true shame.

    Beetles in the salad

Casino area is fine. Wouldn't suggest eating here though. We found beetles, still alive, in the salad. Our server just picked it up when we pointed this out and brought us another salad. Seemly the same salad from the same lettuce that had beetles before. No discounts were given, nor did they attempt to explain or apologize. This was at the red tail. Beyond that the Salmon was overcooked, burger was fine. Just don't go there.

We tried the Frank's Omelet Bar on Sunday(inside Red Tail Bar and Grill). For $14 per person is a bargain. We both got an omelet to order with many toppings, Eggs Benedict, hash brown patties, sausage(wife got bacon) and orange juice. Look at prices on regular menu and you can see value in Frank's Omelet bar. Everything tasted great. I just didn't get picture of the finished omelet but it tasted great.

Service can be bit slow at times but everything on the menu is good and is by far the best choice if you live in the Worley/plummer area.

But this restaurant is very pricey for inconsistent food. We've been twice now- didn't love it enough the first time but wanted to give it a second chance. The lemon pasta was divine the first time- but my carbonara was unflavored paste- I literally thought I had COVID and lost the ability to taste food but everyone else's food tasted good so that theory didn't hold up. This time I ordered the lemon pasta and instead of creamy, delightful and tasty it was a little bland and watery. The waitress "fixed it " by offering me more Parmesan to thicken it. I'd added prawns- they were nice. My companion ordered the veal parm- the tomato sauce wasn't amazing and the breading was a bit heavy. He wasn't impressed and didn't finish the dish. The risotto was just OK. Again, it's very pricey for just OK. The food isn't trash but if you've had great food you don't want to pay so much for just ok. We would rather spend the money at Luna or Francaise or Wooden City. Dessert was yummy. The first time we went we arrived first seating and it looked like the AARP theater crowd, the last night we went seemed like a galantine's preview! So if you're there for the drinks, appetizers and ambiance it's quite nice. I can't endorse it whole heartedly because the entree's weren't consistently good enough to give the full 5 stars. Service was fine and we tipped accordingly. Good luck!

Simple but really well done, especially with this dipping sauce. * Poached Pear Salad: Sweet poached pears, with a nutty flavor from candied pecans and dried cherries. The biggest issue right away was how long the food took. It felt like we were waiting forever, and by the time it finally came out, it definitely didn't feel worth it. We started with the pretzel, which honestly was nothing like a pretzel. It tasted more like glorified fried dough and didn't have that classic pretzel texture or flavor at all. For drinks, mine was way too strong and just didn't taste good. It wasn't balanced at all and ended up being hard to even enjoy. For my main, I ordered the Cascadia burger medium, but it came out clearly well done and overcooked. On top of that, the egg on it was severely undercooked.. some of the whites were still clear and slimy, which completely ruined it for me. I had also heard good things about the mac and cheese, so I gave it a try, but that was another disappointment. It was bland and runny, and even after adding salt and pepper, it still had no real flavor. My husband ordered the chicken sandwich, which wasn't terrible, but it was definitely on the dry side. They were also out of fries, so he had to get fruit instead, which was kind of disappointing. Overall, the food took way too long, the quality didn't match the price, and the experience just didn't live up to the hype at all. Unfortunately, we won't be returning.

My wife and I had a rare night out for dinner last night and we were in Post Falls. The White House Grill is famous for their garlicky foods (not all) and we like that. We could smell garlic at the entrance. My wife ordered a version of a gyro and Greek salad, which she described as "OK." It was a pita with curried chicken, unlike what she preferred as a gyro (chicken, no curry), but she tried it. I ordered the souvlaki (lamb kabobs), served over a large bed of rice and with "garlicky" green beans. The lamb, by the way was very tough to cut and to chew, more like mutton but not with any fat. Rethinking, I shouldn't have tried lamb at all, simply on ethics (mine). It looked enticing but I couldn't taste any of it. That is because I couldn't smell any of it, even when holding the plate right under my nose. No smell, no taste. That was because our 18-ish server was reeking of perfume, like she bathed in it. I believe there was another servicer of about the same age walking around with the same odor. It reminded me of a church service and elderly ladies. The most difficult part here is that our server was great! She was clear-spoken, sharp, and friendly. I just couldn't breathe when she came to our table (3-4 times). Maybe she doesn't like to smell garlic or want to smell like it, herself, but I can't return. I have two adult children who are both professional servers, so I hope these young women will understand and make adjustments for the customers. She truly is great at her job, otherwise.

Every time he walked by he would check our drinks or ask us if we needed anything... top notch ! The food - it's on the pricier side but worth the experience. We started off with the baked Brie and the blue cheese wedge. The baked Brie was unique. The Brie was wrapped in a house made phyllo dough and covered in caramel sauce. Accompanied by Some fruit and bread. Unique and well executed. The wedge was wonderful. Very tasty house made blue cheese dressing and bacon (I think adding some tomato or onion would have broken up the saltiness) but was still great tasting We ordered the sweet pork chop. I was impressed how moist and tender they cooked the pork.. I have to admit that it was too sweet. Even for me, who has a crazy sweet tooth. It was a unique pairing, but left no room for savory. We also ordered the seafood fettuccini. I believe they house make their pasta and Alfredo sauce. It didn't come with a ton of seafood (a couple large prawns and a few bacon wrapped scallops) but hit the spot. Their house bread they serve with your meal is the highlight! A little loaf of breast drenched in a garlic butter sauce! I'm salivating just thinking about it!
