I love Beverly's, what can I say. I've been coming here since I was a young kid and you really cannot beat the lakeside, upper-floor view and consistency in quality and service they bring. Best deal is the Lakeside menu served from open to 5:30 if you're okay with eating a little earlier where you get an appetizer, full sized main, and dessert for $30. Most these entrees are near $30 on their own so it's impossible to beat. Order the coffee for a fun experience. Sommelier on site. Once upon a time, they used to serve a dessert option that was a mini version of all the main desserts, that's my only thing I miss!! read more

My companions were excited to take us to Beverly's. Their previous experience had been great. They said the service and food had been awesome. We parked in a parking structure shared with a resort and other businesses. Once we parked getting to the restaurant was like going through a maze. Once there the ambiance was a nice simple elegant. We sat in the bar We went for happy hour. Our waitress was nice, seemed a little rushed. We wanted to sit by the windows. 1. There was five of us and they would not let us move one chair so we could sit by the windows....fire issue. We squeezed into a corner booth....UNCOMFORTABLE.. If you have more than four people in your party choose a different restaurant. 2. We placed our drink and food orders. We had reviewed the online menu....we were ready. I asked to have the hummus and olives first. The drink order came relatively quick. The food order took forever. 3. We were getting hungry. One of my companions asked a young waitress serving bread, if we could have some. She told us she didn't have a ticket for us so she would look into it and get back to us..... WTF. I relayed, we were sat and placed our food order before the table you just served bread to twice now. The bread waitress walked away. She did come back...I tried the orange bread.....it was orange frosting poured over a bun. 4. The party of seven that sat after us got their appetizer 20 minutes before we finally got our food (45 minutes). The hummus and a lives was served with our food.....APPETIZER. Does this waitress not understand that. 5. FINALLY, our waitress came to check on us....we had finished our food. One of the companions that had recommended Beverly's told her, just the bill. She brought our bill quickly.......:,and we waited.....waited.....waited. Finally my companion got up went to the hostess and requested to pay our bill. Both companions continued to state , We don't understand last time the service and food was great. What a wonderful experience we had during our first visit to your restaurant and beautiful Coeur d'Alene. We had made a reservation for the 3-course menu and thoroughly enjoyed the Surf n Turf, Seafood Paella, Whipped Feta, and Salad, as well as the chocolate cake and cheesecake for dessert. Everything was delicious and very reasonably priced. We would like to give a special shout-out to the incredible team that took care of us. From our primary server Matt to Addison, our lovely hostess, as well as Morgan, Jacob, Judah, and Maria--everyone was fantastic. Quite honestly we haven't been back to Beverly's since a terribly disappointing experience on Valentine's Day 2-years ago. We fully expected to be seated in the restaurant, but instead were disappointed to see the entire Sweetheart Deal grouping seated in a back conference room with no view. It was certainly not the romantic vibe we thought we were paying for when booking the Sweetheart deal. I'm all about giving people and places a 2nd chance, so we gave Beverly's a 2nd chance on my 67th birthday. Since the day fell on a Monday, the restaurant wasn't packed and we received premium seated and service. I must say, we were both happy to give Beverly's a 2nd chance. The staff was tremendously attentive and welcoming. The food and wine pairings were terrific for each and every course. I had the Burrata Salad, Surf & Turf and Huckleberry Cheesecake, while my wife ordered the Hummus & Olives, Seafood Paella and Chocolate Flourless Cake. Each course, the sommelier came with an excellent wine pairing and explanation. 12.10.25: I made my birthday reservation 3 weeks ago after researching for a nice seafood and steakhouse and saw that Beverly's had a cotton candy dessert, which I had to try. We arrived on time for our 5pm reservation. We were immediately sat at a table that overlooked the lake that had a Christmas light display, which was nice. Gage (sp?) was our server and did a great job ; he checked on us at all the right times. I felt the server's assistant kind of rushed us during appetizer and towards the end with asking if we were done eating when we still had food on our plates and actively eating. And the sound of having bread service was great, but we only got offered bread once, which was right before our entrees arrived. That seemed weird and out of place to me and would rather have some bread with my apps. But all good, maybe it's a fancy thing I don't know about lol. I will say the orange roll I had was awesome. It had a sweet orange glaze--something I've never had before--smothered on a hot roll, so delish. So, they have fancy digital menus that allows you to easily explore the menu. For appetizers, we ordered the Iced Jumbo Prawn Cocktail and Seafood Crudo. Both were of fresh quality and tasted great. No pics of the app's as I wanted to enjoy my birthday without holding up dinner to take a bunch of pics that I'm usually known for lol. After a year of being a vegetarian, I had decided a while back ago that on my birthday I would return to my pescatarian life. For my entree, I ordered the Lobster Mac & Cheese. It did not disappoint! Lobster was tender and buttery. The noodles were on the larger size with a delicious blend of a 3 cheese sauce that wasn't too watery nor too cakey thick--the consistency was perfect and I enjoyed it thoroughly. My friend and his mom, both ordered the infamous Hot Rock Filet, which of course, was the star of the show (see my flaming video). It looked so awesome that I even wanted to try it lol. My friend said the filet literally melted in his mouth and enjoyed every bite to the end. For dessert, they brought me out Beverly's signature Blue Raspberry Cotton Candy with a lit candle that also had vanilla ice cream, berries, and a meringue cookie. The desert was fun, versatile, and yummy! I didn't stop there and also ordered the Chocolate Celebration cake, which was a huge piece and could easily be shared. If you're a chocolate lover then try this. It was very rich and dense made up of chocolate devil's food cake, dark chocolate mousse, and chocolate ganache. My friend and his mom, both ordered the Creme Brulee, and both said it was fantastic. From what I saw, it had a great shiny carmelized topping and I enjoyed watching them tap the top with their spoons before breaking into what they said was a creamy vanilla custard. Beverly's has earned a "Top 3" ranking for best steaks and restaurants we've been to! The presentation of the Hot Rock Filet Mignon was great! Literally set on fire in front of you. The steak stays incredibly hot/warm on the hot rock as you enjoy it with a Manhattan. The staff was welcoming and the view is second to none (see photo). Love it and would highly recommend! Delivery from the Kitchen was VERY slow. Our server was friendly and helpful with suggestions but inattentive. He was around the bare minimum and not frequently or timely. We watched other servers at nearby tables doing a great job for their customers. Began with a double bourbon and it sure didn't look like a double pour. Food started with the beef carpaccio, and it was exceptional once it finally arrived. Follow that up with a very small wedge salad, which was pretty good but fairly dry. For entrées, we had the hot rock fillet and the rack of lamb with a side of fingerling potatoes. The lamb was very good and a large portion. The fingerling potatoes were very good as well. As to the hot rock fillet, it is quite a show, but the fillet was not very flavorful and was thin at about 6 ounces maybe. The carrots and broccolini that came with it were burned partially. We had 1 night in Coeur D'alene and Beverly's was highly recommended. Located on the 7th floor in the Coeur D'alene Resort Hotel sits this amazing restaurant. Being from Hawaii Im pretty spoiled with amazing views but the view over looking the lake was gorgeous. Very popular restaurant for a special family dinner, birthday, anniversary, or special occasion. The homemade bread rolls were delicious especially their signature Orange rolls were more like dessert. We had the beef paparadelle and truffle fried chicken both excellent. What bumped this restaurant to a 5 star for me ia that yhe service was outstanding. Our server recommended the chicken to me over a more expensive dish I was contemplating and he was honest and holy cow that fried chicken was delicious! Moist on the inside and perfectly fried with honey drizzled on it. Ill be craving that dish for awhile. Everyone was friendly and professional, great staff! Highly recommend! read more

We were here for my granddaughter's graduation from high school. My daughter recommended this place did not disappoint. Beautiful view of the lake, our server was Lauren. She was excellent, she explained the different dishes and gave my husband some good advice. There was a bus boy with glasses that was very good. Made sure we had water and cleared our plates. So I had the filet mignon that they lit on fire. Boy was it perfect and it came with vegetables and potatoes. Oh, and we got these yummy rolls with like a marmalade sauce on them. I also had two old-fashioned made perfectly. My husband had a Gin with olives. He had the Aji tuna and he commented how good the bok choy was. We splurged and had a dessert. It was vanilla ice cream, and a chocolate soufflé. Also, the menu was unique on a tablet that you just could scroll through things like appetizers, then move onto other things. We did park in the parking structure and it did not go up to the seventh floor. So I had to call Beverly's and find out how to get there. My expectation was that each course would be smaller than their usual dinner size but boy was I wrong! The food was absolutely excellent as was the attentive service. I had the lobster bisque, the salmon and a slice of cheesecake for dessert - wow! Mom and sis had the pea salad and both also had the surf and turf - they loved both courses. My sister and I did the wine pairing with it which was around $25. I assumed it would just be a glass of the house wine with each course but instead the sommelier came out with each course with the wines he had selected to sour with our food - the wines were individualized to each of our meals. Honestly I read the reviews prior to coming here but I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt. My reservation last Friday was for 7:45pm, and we got up there and we got told to sit at the bar as our table was still getting set up. The lady up front was just so rude about everything. We leave the bar around 8, go back up front just to be told we had to wait a little longer. We get sat around 8:10pm, the guy with the bread rolls, IGNORE our table and carries on. Service- my server Alyssa she came by twice. Idk. For a "fancy" restaurant it wasn't so fancy. I'd rather go to church hills for a better experience. My husband and I went here for dinner last night. Ambiance and food were great and overall the service from various individuals was quite good, including the sommelier. We would have given it 5 stars but our server, Heather, was either having a bad night or is just not good at her job. For example, the chiller for our very nice bottle of Chardonnay was sitting on the far side of our booth (we would have to get out of our seats to reach it) but it was along the path where staff regularly passes by. She walked by at least twice, looked at our empty glasses, and kept moving on without pouring more wine. She also dropped off the bill, shortly after we got our dessert, making us feel like she was trying to rush us out. My family and I went here for the Easter buffet. We were seated right on the window with a gorgeous view on a beautiful sunny day. The buffet had a wonderful variety of items. There were Tomahawk steaks and bruleed salmon. A wonderful potato bar along with breakfast meats. They had a omelette and eggs benedict section along with belgian waffles and even a sushi area. The sweets were plentiful with cakes, cookies, brownies and so much more. Everything was delicious and our waitress was so attentive. We attended the Beverly's Sweetheart Dinner for Valentine's Day and left extremely disappointed, especially given the price. The dinner was $100 per person plus a $40 service charge, and the experience did not match the expectations set when we booked. When I made the reservation, I was told Beverly's would be closed to regular diners because of this event. Based on that, we expected the dinner to take place in the actual Beverly's restaurant. Instead, we were seated in a back conference room with no view. One of the main reasons we chose Beverly's was for the atmosphere and the lake views, so being placed in a conference room felt very misleading and honestly like a bait and switch. The food was also underwhelming. The lobster soup was watery and lacked substance, and the sushi rolls were forgettable. Overall, the food quality did not reflect the price point or the reputation Beverly's is known for. This was our first experience with Beverly's, and it was a major letdown. We've had far better meals and experiences at Cedars and Dockside, even during buffet events. For a premium-priced event, the setting and food should match the expectations created when booking. This is located in the Coeur d'Alene resort. We were staying here and I was checking the menu on their website. They have a Lakeview menu that has 3 courses for $30 until 5:30pm. I decided to call to ask some questions, I called from my room and they picked up the phone and hung up. So I took the elevator down to inquire in person. The restaurant was completely booked up but we could eat in the bar area and as long as we arrived and sat before 5:39 we were good. We arrived at 5:10pm and we were given a menu and the 3 course was not an option. When our server arrived, we asked her about it and showed her on our phones the menu from their website,she did not look thrilled and said she might be able to slip our order in if we told her everything then. Service: slow but that is because each server has too many tables. Be patient and you will eventually get your drinks, water, and food. They need help, Food: got the three course menu. Got the salad, sirloin surf and turf, and cheesecake. The salad was very good with small shavings of apple, blue cheese, lettuce and dressing that really went well with each other. The sourdough bread was a little sour that tasted okay. The sirloin steak was cooked perfectly and tender for a sirloin but not as tender as a filet, but had a great flavor. The turf was 2 shrimp even though menu said prawns, these were shrimp and it was served on mashed potato and broccolini. Everything was seasoned perfectly. The cheesecake was eggnog flavored with a nice cookie crust with cranberries. The cranberries really cut through the rich cheesecake. The flower cookies were pretty but not too flavorful. read more

My husband and I were genuinely looking forward to dining at Beverly's Restaurant today, but our experience was so disappointing that we left before ever being served. We went into the bar area, where we understood the seating to be first come, first served. We found an empty table with chairs in the bar area and sat down. Within moments, two servers approached us and asked, "Has anyone spoken to you yet?" When we said no, they immediately told us, "You can't sit here. You have to sit at the bar." What made no sense was that the table was clearly located in the bar area, yet no one offered any explanation as to why we couldn't sit there. There were no other seats available, so our only option was to leave. Being singled out and told to get up in front of a room full of other guests was humiliating. The interaction made us feel unwelcome from the moment we walked in. We had also paid to park in the garage, only to leave without even having the opportunity to order a drink or a meal. As a Hispanic couple, the way we were treated left us questioning whether our ethnicity played a role in how we were approached. I sincerely hope that wasn't the case, but that is exactly how the experience made us feel. No guest should leave a restaurant feeling embarrassed, unwelcome, or questioning whether they were treated differently. This was supposed to be a special dining experience. I spoke with the manager of the resort to relay the message to the manager of the restaurant, and I was never returned a phone call like talked about. Been coming here at Christmas time for over 25 years. Tonight was not even close to our expectations. We had a group of 10 and were put in one of their private dining rooms, which was a nice surprise. What didn't work out is we seldom saw our waitstaff and on numerous occasions had to go ask for them. Didn't stop them from adding a mandatory 20% gratuity for poor service. Food was "meh" at best. Nothing close to the level of service or food quality that we've experienced in the past. Hot rock filet was anything but hot. First off, Austin is a wonderful sommelier and is knowledgeable in all varieties of wine. He can make excellent selections for pairing any course of your meal. They have the largest cellar in the Pacific Northwest right there at the restaurant! My husband and I dine at Beverly's multiple times per year and can honestly say we have never been disappointed. The menu does change seasonally, while they keep some staple dishes. They can accommodate changes to some plates as well. Our next dinner included the French onion soup, and Cesar salad to start paired with a Sauvignon Blanc. Then for the main, our tomahawk steak, carved table-side was perfectly rare and came with a black sea salt, truffle salt, chimmichuri, and a garlic demi glaze. Paired with Justin's Justification it was perfection. We make our dinner a three course meal and take our time to enjoy it. It's so nice when you are not rushed and the staff are attentive. We went specifically for the Lake View Special and left extremely disappointed. We drove a long distance and intentionally booked dinner this month to enjoy the Christmas lights. Because that was the main reason for our reservation, I called at 11am the day of to confirm we would have a view. I gave the hostess our reservation time and was told that all seats had a view of the lights. That was completely untrue. Upon arrival, we were seated in a booth in the far back corner of the restaurant, directly next to where plates are constantly bussed and where staff congregate and shout back and forth. We had zero view of the lake, no view of the Christmas lights, and instead spent the entire meal listening to clanking dishes and staff yelling from one end of our table at the stairs to the other. I politely mentioned to our server that I had called earlier to confirm a water-view table and asked if there was any chance we could move. I was told it would be at least an hour wait, with no attempt to make it right. If an hour wait is required for a water-view table, that should have been communicated honestly when I called--this directly contradicted what we were told. Service was also very rushed. There is a big difference between attentive service and pushing guests out to turn tables for a dinner special. We were repeatedly asked if we were finished despite having food left on our plates. Dessert was brought out before our dinner plates were cleared still with food on them, and the check was dropped while we were barely halfway through our brownie. A three-course meal with drinks wrapped up in about 40 minutes, which was far from relaxing. For a restaurant that brands itself as five-star cuisine and one of the top restaurants in America, this experience fell far short. We've lived in both Seattle and Miami and have had significantly better food and service at far less self-important restaurants. Unfortunately, between the misleading reservation information, poor seating, rushed service, and overall experience, we would not return and I would suggest others consider alternatives in the area. read more

I almost don't want to post a review because this place is awesome hidden gem. Literally. Up the elevator in the Resort you take a few turns to finally find it and wow. Beautiful views at the bar of the Lake. Great for date night, I usually get the Potato Service (fries and dirty martini). Fries have garlic and parmesan slightly melted on it. HH options are reasonable and good. Sliders I recommend. Shrimp cocktail is good, but I feel like the prawns have gotten smaller. Minor detail. All things aside this place is our go-to.
