Quite honestly we haven't been back to Beverly's since a terribly disappointing experience on Valentine's Day 2-years ago. We fully expected to be seated in the restaurant, but instead were disappointed to see the entire Sweetheart Deal grouping seated in a back conference room with no view. It was certainly not the romantic vibe we thought we were paying for when booking the Sweetheart deal. I'm all about giving people and places a 2nd chance, so we gave Beverly's a 2nd chance on my 67th birthday. Since the day fell on a Monday, the restaurant wasn't packed and we received premium seated and service. I must say, we were both happy to give Beverly's a 2nd chance. The staff was tremendously attentive and welcoming. The food and wine pairings were terrific for each and every course. I had the Burrata Salad, Surf & Turf and Huckleberry Cheesecake, while my wife ordered the Hummus & Olives, Seafood Paella and Chocolate Flourless Cake. Each course, the sommelier came with an excellent wine pairing and explanation. Quite honestly, when we came to the Sweetheart meal a few Valentine's Days ago, the 3 wine pairings were inexplicably late for each course. That was not the case tonight! We attended the Beverly's Sweetheart Dinner for Valentine's Day and left extremely disappointed, especially given the price. The dinner was $100 per person plus a $40 service charge, and the experience did not match the expectations set when we booked. When I made the reservation, I was told Beverly's would be closed to regular diners because of this event. Based on that, we expected the dinner to take place in the actual Beverly's restaurant. Instead, we were seated in a back conference room with no view. One of the main reasons we chose Beverly's was for the atmosphere and the lake views, so being placed in a conference room felt very misleading and honestly like a bait and switch. The food was also underwhelming. The lobster soup was watery and lacked substance, and the sushi rolls were forgettable. Overall, the food quality did not reflect the price point or the reputation Beverly's is known for. This was our first experience with Beverly's, and it was a major letdown. We've had far better meals and experiences at Cedars and Dockside, even during buffet events. For a premium-priced event, the setting and food should match the expectations created when booking. 12.10.25: I made my birthday reservation 3 weeks ago after researching for a nice seafood and steakhouse and saw that Beverly's had a cotton candy dessert, which I had to try. We arrived on time for our 5pm reservation. We were immediately sat at a table that overlooked the lake that had a Christmas light display, which was nice. Gage (sp?) was our server and did a great job ; he checked on us at all the right times. I felt the server's assistant kind of rushed us during appetizer and towards the end with asking if we were done eating when we still had food on our plates and actively eating. And the sound of having bread service was great, but we only got offered bread once, which was right before our entrees arrived. That seemed weird and out of place to me and would rather have some bread with my apps. But all good, maybe it's a fancy thing I don't know about lol. I will say the orange roll I had was awesome. It had a sweet orange glaze--something I've never had before--smothered on a hot roll, so delish. So, they have fancy digital menus that allows you to easily explore the menu. For appetizers, we ordered the Iced Jumbo Prawn Cocktail and Seafood Crudo. Both were of fresh quality and tasted great. No pics of the app's as I wanted to enjoy my birthday without holding up dinner to take a bunch of pics that I'm usually known for lol. After a year of being a vegetarian, I had decided a while back ago that on my birthday I would return to my pescatarian life. For my entree, I ordered the Lobster Mac & Cheese. It did not disappoint! Lobster was tender and buttery. The noodles were on the larger size with a delicious blend of a 3 cheese sauce that wasn't too watery nor too cakey thick--the consistency was perfect and I enjoyed it thoroughly. My friend and his mom, both ordered the infamous Hot Rock Filet, which of course, was the star of the show (see my flaming video). It looked so awesome that I even wanted to try it lol. My friend said the filet literally melted in his mouth and enjoyed every bite to the end. For dessert, they brought me out Beverly's signature Blue Raspberry Cotton Candy with a lit candle that also had vanilla ice cream, berries, and a meringue cookie. The desert was fun, versatile, and yummy! I didn't stop there and also ordered the Chocolate Celebration cake, which was a huge piece and could easily be shared. If you're a chocolate lover then try this. It was very rich and dense made up of chocolate devil's food cake, dark chocolate mousse, and chocolate ganache. My friend and his mom, both ordered the Creme Brulee, and both said it was fantastic. From what I saw, it had a great shiny carmelized topping and I enjoyed watching them tap the top with their spoons before breaking into what they said was a creamy vanilla custard. Love the ambiance and lake view. Apparently your time is not important. Service was not good. Our table was not ready at the time of our reservation. 10 to 15 minutes later we did have a nice table. Delivery from the Kitchen was VERY slow. Our server was friendly and helpful with suggestions but inattentive. He was around the bare minimum and not frequently or timely. We watched other servers at nearby tables doing a great job for their customers. Began with a double bourbon and it sure didn't look like a double pour. Food started with the beef carpaccio, and it was exceptional once it finally arrived. Follow that up with a very small wedge salad, which was pretty good but fairly dry. For entrées, we had the hot rock fillet and the rack of lamb with a side of fingerling potatoes. The lamb was very good and a large portion. The fingerling potatoes were very good as well. As to the hot rock fillet, it is quite a show, but the fillet was not very flavorful and was thin at about 6 ounces maybe. The carrots and broccolini that came with it were burned partially. We had an exceptional Dining Experience at Beverly's From the moment we walked into Beverly's we knew we were in for something special. The restaurant is both refined and welcoming, and the views of the lake are stunning. Our dishes were presented beautifully and delicious . Their signature orange roll is still on my mind. It was so tasty! It had a croissant like texture with a sweet sticky orange topping. The truffle fried chicken--perfection! crispy on the outside and tender & juicy inside. The truffle honey butter was so scrumptious. My husband's steak was cooked perfectly and the shrimp were so tasty. Our server, Tim, elevated the experience even further. His attentiveness, friendliness and knowledge of the menu made us feel genuinely welcomed and taken care of. From food to service, atmosphere everything was top notch! Excellent all around! Went with my mom and sister for their early dining at 5:15 pm on a Monday - they offer a special 3-course meal for $30. My expectation was that each course would be smaller than their usual dinner size but boy was I wrong! The food was absolutely excellent as was the attentive service. I had the lobster bisque, the salmon and a slice of cheesecake for dessert - wow! Mom and sis had the pea salad and both also had the surf and turf - they loved both courses. My sister and I did the wine pairing with it which was around $25. I assumed it would just be a glass of the house wine with each course but instead the sommelier came out with each course with the wines he had selected to sour with our food - the wines were individualized to each of our meals. My family and I went here for the Easter buffet. We were seated right on the window with a gorgeous view on a beautiful sunny day. The buffet had a wonderful variety of items. There were Tomahawk steaks and bruleed salmon. A wonderful potato bar along with breakfast meats. They had a omelette and eggs benedict section along with belgian waffles and even a sushi area. The sweets were plentiful with cakes, cookies, brownies and so much more. Everything was delicious and our waitress was so attentive. I almost don't want to post a review because this place is awesome hidden gem. Literally. Up the elevator in the Resort you take a few turns to finally find it and wow. Beautiful views at the bar of the Lake. Great for date night, I usually get the Potato Service (fries and dirty martini). Fries have garlic and parmesan slightly melted on it. HH options are reasonable and good. Sliders I recommend. Shrimp cocktail is good, but I feel like the prawns have gotten smaller. Minor detail. All things aside this place is our go-to. This is located in the Coeur d'Alene resort. We were staying here and I was checking the menu on their website. They have a Lakeview menu that has 3 courses for $30 until 5:30pm. I decided to call to ask some questions, I called from my room and they picked up the phone and hung up. So I took the elevator down to inquire in person. The restaurant was completely booked up but we could eat in the bar area and as long as we arrived and sat before 5:39 we were good. We arrived at 5:10pm and we were given a menu and the 3 course was not an option. When our server arrived, we asked her about it and showed her on our phones the menu from their website,she did not look thrilled and said she might be able to slip our order in if we told her everything then. Service: slow but that is because each server has too many tables. Be patient and you will eventually get your drinks, water, and food. They need help, Food: got the three course menu. Got the salad, sirloin surf and turf, and cheesecake. The salad was very good with small shavings of apple, blue cheese, lettuce and dressing that really went well with each other. The sourdough bread was a little sour that tasted okay. The sirloin steak was cooked perfectly and tender for a sirloin but not as tender as a filet, but had a great flavor. The turf was 2 shrimp even though menu said prawns, these were shrimp and it was served on mashed potato and broccolini. Everything was seasoned perfectly. The cheesecake was eggnog flavored with a nice cookie crust with cranberries. The cranberries really cut through the rich cheesecake. The flower cookies were pretty but not too flavorful. read more

We stopped by the resort bar about five PM the other night to have a cocktail prior to going to dinner. The waitress mentioned Beverly - so we went upstairs for a cocktail and a PuPu We stumbled upon the $29 three course meal that's available everyday prior to 530. We both had the surf and turf - I had the salad (delicious) and we ordered one of each dessert ...... We 100% will go back to Beverly's for the early bird dinner - food was delicious and service was awesome .... and the views to die for! read more

Been coming here at Christmas time for over 25 years. Tonight was not even close to our expectations. We had a group of 10 and were put in one of their private dining rooms, which was a nice surprise. What didn't work out is we seldom saw our waitstaff and on numerous occasions had to go ask for them. Didn't stop them from adding a mandatory 20% gratuity for poor service. Food was "meh" at best. Nothing close to the level of service or food quality that we've experienced in the past. Hot rock filet was anything but hot. Our grandkids have looked forward to the cotton candy dessert and even that's gone down hill. No more sparkler presentation, nothing special at all. All in all, there's nothing that sets Beverly's apart from the competition and there are far better and less expensive options available in town. We went specifically for the Lake View Special and left extremely disappointed. We drove a long distance and intentionally booked dinner this month to enjoy the Christmas lights. Because that was the main reason for our reservation, I called at 11am the day of to confirm we would have a view. I gave the hostess our reservation time and was told that all seats had a view of the lights. That was completely untrue. Upon arrival, we were seated in a booth in the far back corner of the restaurant, directly next to where plates are constantly bussed and where staff congregate and shout back and forth. We had zero view of the lake, no view of the Christmas lights, and instead spent the entire meal listening to clanking dishes and staff yelling from one end of our table at the stairs to the other. I politely mentioned to our server that I had called earlier to confirm a water-view table and asked if there was any chance we could move. I was told it would be at least an hour wait, with no attempt to make it right. If an hour wait is required for a water-view table, that should have been communicated honestly when I called--this directly contradicted what we were told. Service was also very rushed. There is a big difference between attentive service and pushing guests out to turn tables for a dinner special. We were repeatedly asked if we were finished despite having food left on our plates. Dessert was brought out before our dinner plates were cleared still with food on them, and the check was dropped while we were barely halfway through our brownie. A three-course meal with drinks wrapped up in about 40 minutes, which was far from relaxing. For a restaurant that brands itself as five-star cuisine and one of the top restaurants in America, this experience fell far short. We've lived in both Seattle and Miami and have had significantly better food and service at far less self-important restaurants. Unfortunately, between the misleading reservation information, poor seating, rushed service, and overall experience, we would not return and I would suggest others consider alternatives in the area. read more

First off, Austin is a wonderful sommelier and is knowledgeable in all varieties of wine. He can make excellent selections for pairing any course of your meal. They have the largest cellar in the Pacific Northwest right there at the restaurant! My husband and I dine at Beverly's multiple times per year and can honestly say we have never been disappointed. The menu does change seasonally, while they keep some staple dishes. They can accommodate changes to some plates as well. Our next dinner included the French onion soup, and Cesar salad to start paired with a Sauvignon Blanc. Then for the main, our tomahawk steak, carved table-side was perfectly rare and came with a black sea salt, truffle salt, chimmichuri, and a garlic demi glaze. Paired with Justin's Justification it was perfection. We make our dinner a three course meal and take our time to enjoy it. It's so nice when you are not rushed and the staff are attentive. We go here a lot and it's hard to let it go as a family tradition but we've decided we will not be back. Food is just not as good and gets more expensive. The service is good but they seem to be short staffed. It took us 2 hours for dinner and it was not a full house. They used to give you bread at the table, now they offer you a roll. For the price it's just not worth it even though we keep going back bc of long time supporters. The valet even asked to see our receipt from dinner to validate our ticket! Sometimes you get what you pay for. I need to return and try a few more meals before I can say for certain here. Basically unless you're going for one of their specials this is the type of establishment that if you have to ask for the price then consult your Dave Ramsey program. Or perhaps just come here for the appetizers and deserts??? The bread and orange rolls that came around were pretty good. Always get their orange rolls here! You will not regret this! Hummus appetizer and Caesar salad appetizer are enough for 2 people. Tried the lobster bisque but was disappointed. Not much lobster flavor over the truffle oil. The steak burger was delicious. Beverly's used to be the best place in town to go. The only thing that can't be beat is the views. Came with my family of 14. That's tough from the start for a serving staff, I know that. Service was mediocre, I was always looking for some help with something. Barely a check in at any point to see how things were going. Lamb chops were forgettable and cold. A drink had a surprise piece of jalapeño pepper in it that didn't belong. We had a celiac allergy and explained that. A salmon dish came with salmon and an iceberg wedge, no seasoning on the fish or dressing for the wedge. The regular salmon was overcooked and cold. Something was off with the onion soup, out 6 ordered, only two finished it. Positives: the pork chop was the best meal on the table. The angus steak was delish. Sadly, that was our last time to eat there. For $1,400 there are many places to eat for less with better quality. read more

Sadly, after Duane Hagadone passed, I feel that my once favorite restaurant went down hill and became very commercial. Gone were the days of 3 course lunch specials. No more Happy Hour menu and the Thanksgiving dinners were no longer impressive. In fact, the last time I went, it was very salty. Really, the only draw for us left, was the views. I really enjoyed Beverly's. This is located on the 7th floor of the Coeur d'Alene Resort. There is valet parking as well as a garage. They had a good ambiance, low lighting dinning, my fave! The food was good but wasn't amazing for the fine dining experience and price. Nonetheless, the experience was great. We had the hot rock filet mignon steaks all around and had 4 servers light up the table. It was cool to watch. Appetizers portions were small for the most price. French onion soup and lobster bisque were great. They have more than 10,000+ bottle of wine. For dessert, we had the Carajillo, which was an amazing night cap. Service was amazing, everyone was very attentive to the table. Tip: the resort harvest their own honey and Beverly's has a window where you can see the bee hives. Beverly's is on the 7th floor of the Coeur d'Alene Resort, so try to snag a window seat because the views of the lake on a sunny day are spectacular. Service was top notch and really made you feel like it was a special occasion. Menu was on an iPad, which was interesting but felt unnecessary and seems like it would add a lot of extra work with needing to wipe down between each guest. Food was spectacular. The only thing off was the whipped feta appetizer. Taste was good but it was not whipped, it was a liquidy mess that was difficult to get on the crostini. We didn't have room for dessert but I'll bet it's great too. We will definitely come back. read more

The whole customer service experience that should be involved with spending $300-$400 on a dinner for two should be much better then it was. The seating was definitely dated as well, it could use a brighter more modern look. The food was good, but it took so long to get our food! Listen it's a BEAUTIFUL place and the service is great. But the culinary skills weren't up to par with expectations. For the prices I expected my steak to melt in my mouth and explode with flavor. I expected my scallops to be the perfect texture and the broccolini to be flavorful, not overpowered by the excessive charred flesh. I went for my birthday and was disappointed by the food but loved the ambiance. However the oysters were fantastic. I would come here and have a drink and appetizer and then head somewhere else for dinner. Or come to have a drink and dessert. I really wanted to love this restaurant. We were in town staying at the CDA resort and I heard great things about Beverly's. To start the service and ambiance were great. We were seated by the window which offered stunning views of Lake Coeur d'Alene. For the starters we had the calamari and oysters. The calamari was my favorite dish. The Green Papaya Slaw, Thai Soy Vinaigrette, Sweet Mandarin Chili Sauce, Red Curry Aioli all worked well together. The oysters were small and left a lot to be desired in terms of flavor. I tend to not dress my oysters too much but the brine was potent and not necessarily in a good way. Next we had the mains. I really was craving pasta so I ordered the FILET TIP BOURGIGNON PAPPARDELLE and my companion ordered SCALLOPS & LOBSTER TAIL. Neither dish would I have again. The pasta was very greasy and lacked flavor, the filet tips were tough and a tad salty. The scallops were cooked appropriately however the lobster tail was tough. After our entrees we opted not to dive into dessert although the red velvet did catch our eyes. read more

Located on the 7th floor of the beautiful Coeur d'Alene Resort, you are taken away from all of your problems when you look out and see Lake Coeur d'Alene. Didn't have a reservation but thankfully they were able to accommodate the two of us. My fiancé and I sat at our table and made up a fake story behind Coeur d'Alene and divided to now call it "Hidden Lake". (after a few drinks and discussing the backstory, you can only imagine our laughter). Service wasn't as great as I would expect. She was extremely friendly but fairly slow. Food was very good. The sauce that came with the chicken complimented everything on that plate perfectly. In October, I sent the letter via the customer feedback portal on their website and another copy via mail. I tried to keep feedback as polite as possible and private. But as of today, I've received no response whatsoever --- Dear Beverly's, My wife and I recently celebrated our 26th wedding anniversary at Beverly's. We chose your restaurant because of reputation and location. Given your brand and price point, we came in with appropriately high expectations for a special occasion. While parts of the evening were very enjoyable, other aspects fell short and left us hesitant about entrusting future special occasions to your team. The Highlights * User-friendly reservation system * Beautiful venue and atmosphere * Friendly welcome from the host and quick seating * Polite and friendly table service * Excellent cocktails, wine, bread, and appetizer * Entree sauces and meat flavors were very good Opportunities for Improvement * Polite table staff who were barely there * Cocktails took 15-20 minutes to arrive * Dirty dishes often sat 10+ minutes before being cleared * Refills (other than water) had to be requested * Bread and condiments (salt/pepper) had to be specifically requested * Silverware was inadvertently removed, requiring us to share implements at the table * No fresh ground pepper was offered or received * After entrees were served, no staff checked on us for over 20 minutes * Entrées were not prepared as ordered (overcooked halibut and ribeye) * So little engagement from table staff that we had no timely opportunity to mention issues that could be corrected * Our anniversary was only remembered after we declined dessert and were preparing to pay the bill We did enjoy the venue, the drinks, and the politeness of your team. But we generally felt forgotten, as if we barely fit into the team's responsibilities. To be fair, there were larger tables nearby that seemed to be enjoying higher quality attention which may have pushed our little celebration-for-two into the margins. Beverly's is found on the 7th floor of the resort. They have signs to make it easy to find. They have tables facing out towards the lake. The staff is extremely friendly and proactive. We started with drinks and the small seafood platter. We had the stuffed salmon and the ribeye. They served us sourdough and a blood orange roll. The orange roll was like a dessert. It was SO tasty. It was definitely worth the money, for a special night. read more
