When I called Saunders to see if they would make keys, the man told me to call him from right outside the store. In front of Saunders Hardware, there were several tables blocking the store's entrance. Of course, that was a smart safety measure social distancing. After my telephone call, the man came out and took my key to make copies. He said it would be about seven minutes. Anyway, not even two minutes later, he called to take my credit card number over the phone. Not even a minute later, he came out with the copies of the keys. He told me to try the keys out as soon as I got home. Anyway, the keys fit perfectly. I was very happy to resolve one issue, particularly during this crazy time. Thank you Saunders Hardware!

I still showed up to pick up the three remaining items. I should've known something was off when the store didn't actually have a curbside pick up area. I pulled into a parking spot and call the store as directed in my order confirmation email. Not only was I told there is no such thing as curbside pick up, they would not cancel my order unless I came into the store. Two weeks later I am still fighting to get the card charges reversed. I did go to Home Depot later that day and got my entire order for $24 less and picked up in a clearly marked and well lit curbside area. Ace is the place - where you don't want to go.

My biggest gripe with this place is the parking lot... I know that they build whatever they can with whatever land they are able to get, but it is a very awkward property, and driving through it is weird. They also have tons of speed bumps that are super super SUPER annoying on the south entrance/exit. Other than that my other gripe is staffing... They never have enough staff. They have to call people and you have to wait sometimes 5 or more minutes for someone to help you with something. Like purchasing paint, or cutting carpet, etc... They also have cut down on checkout cashiers, and there is a 20+ person line every time... Other than that, they always have everything that I need. I usually go for generic or simple things like a toilet seat, or door knobs. Things that they should have 200 of at each store lol! Never had any issues finding anything that I needed. I highly recommend downloading their App! It is extremely accurate! It will tell you the aisle, section, and most of the time shelf that an item is located on. Plus you can compare the skus very easily. All in all, a good HD. Aside from the terrible parking lot and staffing issues, I have never had any issues finding anything that I needed.

Here are a few things Dante said to me on my second phone call after he got rid of me on the first call, "I have to go"... - I'm running a business, you asked me a million questions - I answered all your questions - so did you call a hundred places to find out what they charged? (actually no, I had not) At the end, he asked if I was ready to order and I asked to confirm the $50 UPS shipping charge. He said he had to take an order so I hung up the phone. If true and he wanted to sell the Ooni to me, the proper and professional way would have been to ask if I could call back the next day. He wants the easy sale and wants a customer to order without asking too many questions which is his prerogative but just know his true character or two-faced persona; pleasant when you're ready to spend and insulting when not.
