Went to happy hour. The drinks were not as strong as I like but for $5, what do you expect. I had the classic margarita and Tito's twisted pink lemonade. The crab queso appetizer was tasty. For dinner I had salmon, mashed potatoes, brocolli and fried shrimp. The salmon had a fishy taste, not to my liking. The food was okay. I'll be back for those Cheddar Bay biscuits! First time in since thee revamp and I color me impressed. From the Music to the the overall atmosphere has done a complete 360 turn around. The food was amazing, portions huge, and refills on bread and drinks we flowing. Our server was nice, attentive and didn't miss a beat. Went to the south county location for dinner and it was delicious. We started with the coconut shrimp and it was cooked to perfection. The shrimp was tender and flavorful. My wife had the pick 2 and she got the double crab legs with fried potatoes and a Caesar salad . She said the crabs were awesome. I had the admirals feast my shrimp was tender and my founder was flaky and crisp. I also got the flash fried brussels sprouts with a soy- ginger overlay oh my gosh they were fantastic highly recommend getting this if you go. Our server was very good and she was very accommodating. I haven't been to Red Lobster in a very long time and coming here brought back a lot of great memories. It was lunch time on a Sunday and I was surprised that it wasn't crowded. Steady but not busy. The resturant decor looks exactly the same as when I used to come years ago. Same vibe and feel like nothing changed in that area. Still the lobster tank in the front which was very nostalgic. We were greeted and sat within a reasonable time. Our server, she was fine. Could be a bit more attentive but not a big deal. She took forever to come check on us when we wanted boxes and the bill. The food - I will say, everything I ordered taste good, it just want worth the price. The salad and dressing is really good. Oh and the cheddar bay biscuits. Delicious! Lobster bisque taste good. Flavorful. I was disappointed being in a resturant named Red Lobster and ordering lobster bisque without chunks of lobster in the dish. Oh well. The crispy dragon shrimp was really good. The sauce taste great with the slaw. I don't think it was worth the price for what you get. I ordered a lobster tail to go for son. $17 for a single lobster tail. That's insane. No side, just butter and a tail. It taste good though. Ordered a sangria and it taste like a $10 glass of juice. My kids love Red Lobster so it is always fun to come as a family. Of course, those biscuits are tempting and delicious. The kids meal has a lot of options that the kids like. I went to Red Lobster in Lindbergh the week before Christmas with my parents. I loved their nautical themed Christmas tree. It was adorable. Our service was amazing. We were taken to a table quickly and our server was incredible. Our food was out quickly and our server checked on us regularly. I went for the surf and turf and everything was delicious. I got the Create Your Own Ultimate Feast I choose the atlantic salmon grilled and the classic maine lobster tail. With grilled shrimp, and garlic shrimp scampi, as for my sides I chose hush puppies and fries. For a seafood restaurant you would think the seafood would be good. Unfortunately you would be mistaken. The only thing that was good, was the garlic shrimp scampi, and the hush puppies. The salmon didn't taste like anything, and besides the butter, the lobster tale was also bland. As well as the grilled shrimp. The fries were at least crispy. I'm disappointed I spent 51.99 on this meal where over half of the food isn't even good. At least you can count on the biscuits to be delicious, as well as the sweet tea. Overall I give this Red Lobster location 2.5 stars. My advice don't bother with the Ultimate Feast, it's not worth the price. read more

We went in yesterday for my birthday & my parents anniversary dinner. The service was decent, even though it took an hour to get our dinner. The hostess tried to set six of us at a five top roundtable. We asked to move to a booth. She just set the menus on the next booth over, and walked away. A medium surloin was hard & gritty, no pink. You can tap it on the table, and it sounded like a rock. I ordered asparagus with Crab legs and potatoes. Everything was extremely overcooked. The asparagus was shrivelled and I couldn't cut through with a knife. Potatoes were grossly overcooked. They poured the butter and old Bay seasoning on top of the shells, making it nearly impossible to crack the crab legs shells. At that point, the server offered to bring me gloves to use while I was eating. As someone who worked in the restaurant industry for years, I would have been embarrassed to bring some of that food to the table! The restaurant was extremely cold. I'm almost always warm and I could even tell that it was abnormally cold, and when I asked the server if the temperature was down lower than normal, she said that it was because the a c wasn't working right and the front part of the restaurant so they were trying to use just one side to cool the whole place. Because our food took so long, we were there about an hour and 45 minutes. The server was nice and brought out ice cream for my birthday, but we were just ready to get out of there. My dad had to leave the restaurant to go outside and warm up. I would say we saw our server about once every 25 minutes, if that. I have a feeling she was afraid to ask how things were. And I think she stayed away long enough that there was no way we were going to re order food. It was a huge disappointment! I had taken my daughter there about eight months ago and ordered similar food, and it was nothing like last night! The service and food were incomparable. read more

Right now they have a special going on unlimited shrimp. For the price its a good deal if you can eat that much shrimp. They will Not let you get a to go box for any left over unlimited shrimp. Our waiter was good. The drinks were good (Cab and Chardonnay is $5 a glass right now). The biscuits are always yummy. The food is always mediocre with a lot of butter on everything. I think I'm finally done with this place. Last night's dinner experience just was not acceptable. Especially when the restaurant was not overly busy from my observation. From when we gave our order to when we received our food, it was an hour. That's just not good customer service or restaurant management. What's more, when our food did come, my pasta dish was barely room temperature, the other people in our party got seafood platters and the crab was cold to the touch. I have to point out the fact that our server was great. She was attentive, apologetic, and responsive to our concerns. She deserves all the credit for the evening, not being an abysmal failure. I only regret that I don't recall her name. I'm never going back to red lobster again. I haven't had a good experience at this restaurant since the 1990s. On September 7 we went to red lobster fir a late lunch. The food was disgusting. The baked potatoes were cold, the fish dinner i ordered was, and I'm kidding you, Van Camps frozen fish! We used to enjoy Red Lobster, it was a special occasion to go there. Not anymore. We went to this restaurant on Saturday, February 8th and ordered an Admiral's Platter between us. To our surprise (then) it came out within 2 minutes. Good service, right. Wrong! We started eating and found that everything on it was cold. Evidently they had an order that was refused or left somehow, and they left it on the kitchen counter until we came it. Seafood is the LAST thing that you want to leave sitting, or else risk food poisoning. We will never to to this location again, and are celebrating Valentine's Day at the Bonefish Grille. read more

Was driving down Lindbergh looking for a place to eat. I stumbled upon this Red Lobster that had no wait. The hostess sat us in the back part of the restaurant. The inside was dimly lit. The waitress took our orders and brought out the biscuits to start. I ordered the Lobster, Shrimp and Salmon with Fries as the side. Everything tasted flavorful, especially the lobster. They are doing well during covid, socially distancing the tables well, they provide hand sanitizer in a few places, and everyone is wearing a mask.
