My go-to is Always a full order of their Chicken Grilled salad! So delicious with a hearty serving! Always fresh! I Love the Ken steakhouse ranch dressing they throw in with my order too. Always have enough for two days if I don't over indulge

I was craving some fish & shrimp tonight. Hasn't been here too long so I was a little hesitant. So happy we went in. You first walk in and it smells clean. Went to the counter & was provided a take home menu! They also have a screen with the menu on it. What a variety of food available. Very quick & efficient, friendly staff. Seems like it is a family run place. I got a combo platter with Jack Salmon & shrimp, which comes with fries. Hubby got a 4 piece wing & fry. All the food was hot and yummy! The fish was huge on my combo platter. I still had a piece of fish left and hubby had 2 wings left. This may have to go in our regular rotation.

Fast food? No. This is the better alternative to spending $15 for lunch. If you're press on time, not a good idea as they cook to order, so call ahead. Anything fried, this is the place. Don't like fried food, they have burgers, gyros, and sandwiches.

Food was good and tasty. Plenty of french fries are included with most meals. Each meal is cooked upon order, so it comes to you hot.

Some of the best wings and catfish nuggets in town. I eat here every chance I get. Their Gyro is enough for 2 meals.

Service was quick and our waiter was nice and knowledgeable. Very friendly. I go a coffee and my "friend" got a mimosa. We got the buttermilk biscuits to share and I got the breakfast sandwich. Everything was so delicious. I accidentally dropped my fork on the patio floor and it fell through a crack in the wood and I was too embarrassed to say anything. Everything was amazing and I would love to come back and try some new things like the delicious looking baked goods.

When I saw their post about the "cold weather comforts," I knew I had to go. We each did the pre fixe dinner- this included a salad, entree and dessert. Each. The chicken pot pie soup was not included, but was worth it. This soup--one of the best things I have ever eaten. I was speechless eating it. I had to text multiple people mid soup to tell them about it. The chicken was flavorful, and huge pieces. The soup itself was so delicious. It felt like a warm hug. I ordered the cottage pie. So delicious and hearty. The braised short rib was so tender. The potatoes were perfectly whipped. I cannot wait for the leftovers. My friend ordered the lasagna. The lamb was incredible. So hearty, and didn't feel heavy like some lasagnas can be. The serving size was huge. We will also be eating this tomorrow! Now the apple crisp. We were full by course two, but we had to dig in. It was fresh out of the oven. The vanilla bean whipped cream was so fresh and balanced out the crisp. The apples were perfectly jammy and the cinnamon was so intense but perfect. This made me feel like I was sitting in my grandma's dining room eating dessert after Sunday dinner. If you see any of these items appear on their menu, run-- and I will see you there!

It was perfectly cooked, flavorful, and honestly one of my favorite dishes from the trip. I also had a scallop dish that was just as good -- rich, well-seasoned, and beautifully prepared. On top of the food, they have a really strong wine selection, which made the experience even better. The overall vibe is polished and elevated without feeling too formal. Service was great, food came out on time, and everything felt intentional. Highly recommend if you're looking for a nice dinner spot in St. Louis.

They have a great cocktail menu but we opted for a bottle of wine instead. The waiter was super helpful in helping us pick out a nice red blend. We got the octopus as a starter, which I don't personally love octopus, but my friend thought it was the best in stl. I also got the apple dish, which was listed under the salads but the waiter was sure to explain it's not an actual salad. Since it wasn't a full salad I also got the soup. Both the apple dish and soup were really good. It's street parking but there's lots of spots in the area. The bathroom is super nice with hairspray and mints if needed. Nice place for a good meal.

Today finally came, and I got to visit on a Wednesday lunch. Our hostess and staffs were wonderful and made us feel so special right from the start. Of course, the food was the real highlight. The pancakes were crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and perfectly buttery. The gumbo was rich and flavorful, well-seasoned without being overwhelming. The grits were cooked to perfection and paired beautifully with the gumbo. Everything felt incredibly comforting on a cold day (see finished plates for reference) We came on a Wednesday morning, so it wasn't crowded at all. Such a relaxed, cozy experience.

Husband got the ham & cheese omelette and felt the same. We split kids pancakes to get the toppings on the side. OMG people don't lie these are an indulgent and amazing treat. 4 stars overall because there are literally 0 modifications which is kind of annoying in my opinion. Like, they were out of hoagies and there was no way to say - I'd still get the sandwich just put it on different bread. Or I don't want mayo. Find that odd. I guess it's a choice but it does deter me from rushing back or trying more on the menu, and be aware if you go. Ps does seem there is an allergy option so if you do have an allergy I suppose you can check that but I'm not sure how to note what you need a change; didn't see it in the QR-only ordering.

A small plates restaurant that felt a little Italian. We make reservations and show up to this place that looks like a neighborhood pub. Quaint, in the corner, inviting light shining through medium sized windows. Inside, the vibes were a hybrid of someone's very nice dining room and an old western saloon. I know that's almost nonsensical, but the vibes were good. We felt right at home. Service was spot on. The server was very nice and new the menu pretty well. The food came out tapas style, so when something was ready, it just came right out. I like that. I like the periods where there are so many plates on the table at one time that it's overwhelming. What's what eating is all about. As for the food itself, it was good. I'll give a little blurb on each thing, as not to wear out your eyeballs. Crispy Artichokes (sauce au vert). These were fun and nice and crispy. Don't see artichokes like these very often. The sauce was a little weak, though. Didn't exactly go well with these fried little morsels. 'Nduja Croquetas (bomba rice, spicy prosciutto, fontina, grenada pepper aioli). Wow, now these little flavor bombs cannot be missed. Spicy sausage arancinis with a nice peppery aioli to dip. An intensely flavorful little dish that I loved. Can't find it on the menu, maybe it was seasonal, maybe it was a special, but we had a bone marrow French onion soup that was nice. The soup was good good. Very well developed flavors. The marrow bone was a little sloppy, though, and we got a transverse cut of bone, leaving very little marrow to access. Next were the Mussels (green garlic broth, Spanish vermouth, pickled peppers, spring onions, grilled LF bread). Very well cooked mussels, sitting in a lovely broth to dip your bread in. Ask for extra bread. But do not ask for extra of that sauce. That was really bad sauce. Sauce work seems to be this place's only weak point. Probably the biggest dish of the night, the Bolognese Bianco (Newman Farms pork & mushroom bolognese, bucatini, gremolata, parmigiano reggiano). This was a really nice pasta dish! Love those big, thicc bucatini noodles. Flavorful bolognese, great texture from the gremolata, and just cheesy enough to make this probably the most complete dish of the night. Then finally the Sea Scallops (ramp soubise, morel mushrooms, house-cured pancetta). Scallops were scored and cooked to look like fine art. Light scallops paired with nice umami from the morels and the pancetta, all tied together by that nice soubise. You don't see that very often either. We ended the meal with a Sticky Toffee Pudding (apple & date cake, apple brandy toffee, crème chantilly, marcona almond tuile). Chef's kiss. Such a delicate sponge with a nice date flavor. Then boom, the sweet boozy toffee, the creamy chantilly, the texture from the tuile. Every element helped make this a great dessert to end a great meal. Overall, another very pleasant surprise. This was a very good dinner, and I'll definitely come back if I'm ever in St. Louis again.

Sidewinder Fries are spiral-cut wedges that come with just enough seasoning. The falafel pita is a great vegetarian choice... seriously, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. There's always a nice selection of craft beers on tap for about $7/pour, as well as a smattering of AB products and other national brands in cans. Beer is wonderfully cold. The bar is well-stocked--especially with local spirits--and the bartenders here know their stuff, making drinks to order and advising what to try if you ask. I'm usually interested in trying a gin or bourbon I haven't had, and they're quick to make recommendations and talk about what's on the shelf. The Drawing Board has a nice-sized bar area with pool tables, darts, and chalkboards, as well as a cool patio. There's a small parking lot on the east (right side of the building), as well as ample street parking just west of the bar on Oak Hill.
