Years ago, the consistency (compared to other area seafood places) kept me coming back. They secretly overhauled the menu a year or two ago and ruined everything I loved. The cheddar bay biscuits weren't the same, the lobster pizza changed to a smaller, square pizza (why?), they had one of the best salads going but changed it to a chopped salad, and that was all before I even got my entree. It's no longer a secret that most of the stuff is frozen and reheated anyway. It's safe to say I'll never be returning but I'll give two stars due to all the great meals I had there back in the day. Wow I have liked red lobster in the past but after this I will never be back. The service was terrible, the food was just as bad and the price was outrageous. The bathroom was gross the lobster was so chewy you just had to more or less swallow it. The filet was over cooked and tasted just like liquid smoke. The only reason it gets a star is for the bread. I stopped into this location thinking it would be like the Red Lobsters I'm use to in New York. Bartenders are friendly and no matter how busy they are they give phenomenal customer service. That wasn't the case here. Bartender Jeff ( tall older guy) did not engage AT ALL, and his approach and demeanor was that of a robot. The bar wasn't busy AT ALL, and he did everything he could to stay away from the two customers sitting at his bar. Although, the waitresses around him did a great job servicing his customers, I left there wandering why would Red Lobster have someone with no enthusiasm tending the bar. I most certainly will not go back there again in fear my experience will taint the great customer service image I have of Red Lobster. That establishment gets two stars only because of the waitresses. read more

I generally enjoy every Reb Lobster experience I have - usually it's at every other Red Lobster location in the tri-state area I go to. This location always provides good front-of-the-house service, but the food quality lacks significantly. Tonight, my takeout order was dry as can be and was extremely sparse with the amount of shrimp in the dish. I also had to wait an additional 15 minutes for my takeout order to be ready (even though I gave them an extra 15 minutes buffer). I probably won't order from this specific location again. read more

Okay, so it's Red Lobster and not the most high-end dining, but it's still decent food. I brought my mom here a few months' back and we enjoyed a good meal. The biscuits were warm and plentiful, the shrimp was tasty, and the service was average. It's a nice place to come to every now and then and their shrimp scampi is always a great choice! read more

Well this was the worst meal I have had here in a long time . Ordered snow crabs they came out with a strange smell. Very disappointed w/ our "late" lunch at 2:00 on Friday, 12/14. Waitress was abrupt and unpleasant. Appetizer, Mushrooms stuffed w/ seafood was literally boiling when she put it in front of me, waited 5 minutes for it to cool a bit. Three of us at a 4 top table and she tried to put a pizza tray in front of me and no room or time to finish my appetizer. I asked her to put it some place else. Food was ok, very tiny bit of lobster on the pizza. Other two companions were 'quiet' about their food. Before we were half done, the waitress literally "slapped" the bills on the table. We hadn't even looked at the dessert menu and were still eating. When we finished, no one wanted dessert, but I ordered choc. cake to go. She redid the bill and we left. I won't go there again. Red Lobster thoroughly ruined our Mother's Day dinner. We placed an order for take-out: nothing difficult or off-the-wall, just lobster tails and side salads. When we got home and opened the bag, we discovered the tails were completely inedible: gray, slimy, and falling apart. It 's such a shame because this used to be a great location, but ruining someone's dinner so thoroughly on Mother's Day is inexcusable. They've lost our business. When the McDonald's we get to replace your food is considerably better, you've done one heck of a bad job. read more

I wouldn't even give red lobster a 1 star. We ordered from them for a 6:00 order on Mothers day and at 7:20 the food wasn't even ready. They were disorganized you couldn't even call their phone number. They had you wait and then hung up with no answer. A business that is run with no communication it is a wonder why they are still open. My mother is very disappointed and would never have me order from them again. I gave Red lobster another chance after the last time the quality of the food has been poor. This time it wasn't the quality but the service. You try to give business a chance in tough times they don't even let you up to date on the progress of your order. This is a no for me. Very disappointed! Called and made a reservation for a family of 6 to celebrate a birthday. Drove over an hour to get there to be told that they can't find our reservation and that they wouldn't be able to get us in for almost 2 hours. But we're taking people in left and right. We went in and the wait wasnt bad but when we were seated it took ten minutes for the waitress to even ask us what we wanted to drink. We got the incorrect drink and had to wait a half hour for the biscuits to even come out. After our food finally came, our side of mashed potatoes was missing which we had to ask for twice and that took another 20 minutes to come out, by the time it was ready we were ready to go. The waitress also told my father there was a small add on fee to get a side of soup which was $5.99 (only $1 less than actually ordering it). It was not worth going, especially for their prices. I've been to other Red Lobster locations before and I have never had such bad service. Customers shouldn't have to remind the waitresses what they ordered repeatedly - especially when the waitress doesnt bother to check and see how you're doing and you have to flag them down... read more

Sat down at 8:00. My first red lobster experience. The Host was very friendly and offered good recommendations but the Monday night bottomless shrimp special caught my eye. I ordered that and after a few minutes I thought I should see how much longer they were open for. I saw that they close at 9 and immediately started to get pissed. Since the shrimp come out 2 for the first order and then one at a time for the next orders I knew I wasn't going to get my money's worth. The smoothie my girlfriend ordered took about 20 minutes and there was still no food in sight. My girlfriend doesn't like seafood so all she ordered was a side of broccoli which I wouldn't expect to take over a half hour to make or even the shrimp for that matter on a quiet Monday night. The smoothie was subpar and not worth it whatsoever. At around 8:35, I decided it was not worth waiting around for the shrimp I was going to get and then having to rush to eat the 2 orders to hopefully be able to get a 3rd order so we left a $5 bill and walked out. You would think that as a waitress you would tell your customer that they would only have the hour to make the most of their order but I guess I'm just the dumbass that should've known exactly when they close and all the rules to their Monday night special. I usually love red lobster.. the service we received from our waiter was great however, the hostess not so much.. we did the online check in and then checked in with the hostess upon arrival. She advised us we would have a 10 minute wait; no big deal. However, as the restaurant began filling up, and many people who arrived after us began getting seats before us it became unacceptable. Its owned by the same company who owns The Olive Garden, so you know that most of the food comes frozen in bags which are placed in hot water baths to cook. This review is not to complain about food, this review is about something far worse. I made the unfortunate mistake of leaving my wallet on the bar after picking up my To Go order. I realized later that night and called back. I got a young woman who noted she asked around about it and that they had seen my wallet on the bar, but now it's gone. I asked for the mgr, who was nice and did her part to find out what went down. Ultimately, I was told that they did see my wallet on the bar, saw individuals sit by it and then it was gone. I was also told there are no cameras on the premises. I ended up filing a police report and I'm sure I'll never see my wallet again. What shocks me is that in 2018 an establishment is without cameras. What shocks me more, and frankly disgusts me, is that someone saw me leave my wallet behind and not only did they not try and contact me, but they just let my wallet sit on the bar ripe for the picking. My ID was in my wallet, which could have been tracked to my cell phone number I left with my To Go order. Rest assured, the staff was quick to note they have no cameras. So I guess they have nothing to hold them accountable, right? If someone had just done the right thing, this could have been avoided. Suffice it to say, I'm not going back. I have worked in many places where wallets or phones got left behind. I never once acted flippantly and ignored it. I treated the patrons belongings with respect and did my best to see it was returned. If this restaurant refuses to have cameras inside the building, they should at least train their staff on how to handle items that are left by patrons. read more

Ive been to red lobster in the past and always left satisfied. Sad to say it was not a repeat at this location. My lobster tail was bone dry and burnt. I asked the server to please send it back and placed an order or the lobster tacos and a new petite tail. Not even close still burnt still dry and the portion of lobster on the tacos was a joke I dont expect a whole lump but come on 2 little pieces. The only reason I gave 2 stars was for the biscuts and my amstel light. The only two things that were done properly. Went here after going to the movies , walked in and sat and waited for over 30 minutes. We kept looking at empty booths and when we asked why we couldn't sit there and get served they said only the bartender could serve us , it was extremely busy and finally we gave back our beeper and walked out , how ridiculous I thought , and on top of that four sets of customers walked out . The manager was actually serving the food instead of running the place , I might add they had two hostesses when they only needed one . My wife and I stopped here on our first date night in 3 years and were gravely disappointed at the fact that this restaurant doesn't cater all that well to those with allergies such as gluten intolerance. Everything in their menu is cross contaminated with a gluten containing ingredient or kitchen utilities that come in contact with gluten. Long wait after we put in order (close to an hour) to a very snippy and unfriendly waitress, shrimp was overcooked, waitress did not accompany cook staff when food was brought to table (salads first, then entrees...no waitress!) so it was "who ordered the salad with the ranch, etc" until we all finally figured out who got what. No refills on water were offered. Asked for take home boxes and checks after being there for 2 hours (not our choice), and waitress disappeared...so husband paid at register and found boxes on his own. Left a very small tip. Not sure who is in charge of the place, but they need better help and more trained staff, better organization, better chefs, pretty much everything. read more
