We drove into the area going planing on going to food and fire grill. Then struck in awe, the restaurant was not open, so we decided to take our appetite to LongHorn. The food was delicious. The ribs and steak were cooked to perfection. Although the sweet potato lacked the necessary need of sugar. The bread was warm and tasty. While our salad and soups were also delicious. The Texas tonion was also amazing. We also got to go some chicken tenders. The waitress very good and catered our needs. The decor was very beautiful and brightened up the mood. While waiting for my food, I found myself clapping the music. The food came out quick and was hot. This was our second time here this month and it was always amazing

Had a great birthday! Food is always great! Been here a few times and I'm never disappointed

Definitely a return eater!! Longhorn for the win...just be prepared to be full. Enjoy!!

I'm a fan of this chain restaurant. Whenever I come here I can rely on getting a good steak, a good variety of sides to choose from and decent drinks. I'm not a fan of the flavored lemonades here, but otherwise no complaints. Service is typically consistently good.

White Cheddar Stuffed Mushrooms

Longhorn is one of our favorite chains with great menu options and good food. The staff is friendly. We called in advance as this restaurant is always packed. They do not take reservations, but this helps lessen your wait time by a little bit. Our waitress was Maria M. and she is the most efficient and friendly waitress ever. She always comes to our table with a smile, and remembers everything we need and brings us our requests quickly. The restaurant layout is similar to any Longhorn restaurant. We sat at a small booth, table for two, and shared the 22oz porterhouse steak and got the White Cheddar Stuffed Mushrooms. Longhorn always provide you with warm bread and butter while you wait for your meal. The bread was delicious. I'm a cheese and mushroom lover. However, the White Cheddar Stuffed Mushrooms appetizer was a bit overwhelming with cheese. The porterhouse steak was made to our liking, medium rare. It was mouthwatering flavorful with every bite. We choose the Caesar's salad as the side which came along with the porterhouse steak. Overall, a good meal. Maria M. made it an even better dining experience with her bubbling personality.

Seasoned Rice Pilaf

I'm not typically a fan of steakhouse chains or any chains for that matter but our choices in NEPA are limited. Most over season their steaks and I find they tend to be extremely salty and getting a USDA Prime cut is pretty much impossible. That being said, this particular Longhorn Steakhouse is actually pretty good. Granted, my "Outlaw Ribeye" was a bit over seasoned for my taste but it was cooked to a perfect medium rare and they charred the fat on the side, which I love. The broccoli was cooked nicely and the rice pilaf was pretty good too. My wife's shrimp tasted good with a nice grilled flavor and it came with a garlic butter dipping sauce. Her sirloin was cooked on the low side of medium rare which I love especially for a filet or a sirloin but she would have liked it a little more done but she still liked it. Our server, Chris was fantastic. She was very nice but not overly friendly like so many servers are in other places. I like it when you can get a true sense or a server's personality and it doesn't come off as phony. We were very happy with Chris and she was on the ball. Definitely a good experience here.

Food wasn't that good. It was loud. Food took a long time to come up. The rolls were excellent and so was the butter.

Steak was supposed to be medium well but it came out like beef jerky. Even the lobster was overcooked. Total disappointment

Such a fun menu with so many choices! I love the concept of local and fresh. Now is a good time to…read moreeat in Pennsylvania restaurants, due to their summer growing season. We found ourselves here on a busy weeknight and what a great dinner we had. Service was very friendly. It was a little on the slow side at first due to the volume but it cleared out soon after we arrived, so it improved. It was a little noisy but tables were not too close together, there was plenty of space. They have a nice wine list. Portions were generous and we boxed up some leftovers to go. We wanted to try other restaurants while visiting the area, otherwise we would have come back to sample more of their menu. We had the halibut from the seasonal offerings, and the burger, paired with the best mexican street corn I have ever tried. Highly recommend!

Our plans before were running long but luckily their reservation policies were flexible enough that I had no problem moving my time, even on such a busy day. The restaurant was POPPING when we arrived around 4:30. We were seated promptly. The only downside to our experience was that the table was SUPER shaky and wobbly. We asked our waitress for a shim or piece of paper to steady the table but she informed us it was the table head itself, not the legs, so nothing could be done. I was not thrilled about this but assumed that these were tables they hauled out of storage to accommodate the holiday demand, so I can understand. Our server was very warm and friendly despite the chaos. Prices are on the high side but the quality is good and the portions are large. I went for the lobster cobb which was a special and it was LOADED with lobster meat. They really heaped it on. A little light on the avocado, but overall it was really wonderful. My mother went for a seafood scallop risotto which I also tried. It was creamy and flavorful. Our food came out in a reasonable timeframe, and our server was good about getting our check. One thing I really liked was that they put which dishes on the menu are over 500 calories, and most were under. A lovely, healthy dining choice with a nice ambiance. I'd return!

We waited at the front a couple of minutes which was okay considering they seemed busy, but then some party entered and were attended to right away. We basically just followed that party because I overheard the there wwer only tables in the outdoor patio. We were able to establish contact with wait staff out there and so it began. Staff was friendly but service was slow. We were waited on by about 4 different persons, which was a little confusing, but if that what it takes to get served, then fine. Again, I am guessing they were understaffed. We ordered some BBQ ribs which were quite good but the half rack was small IMO. They have nothing on Kansas City, but it was still pretty good. They appear to BBQ their meats on the premises. Ambiance was okay, fine for BBQ and beer. If I lived in Scranton, maybe this place would be on the list of options, IDK.

Don't come here on Wing Night Wednesday…read more. We made the mistake of coming here on wing night. We got our appetizer, chips and dip. Chips were homemade and burnt... 3/10. Dip was fine, probably out of a packet. Little did we know those burnt chips would be the only thing we would be eating for an hour with little to no refills. Seemed to be forgotten about with us being inside and I guess everyone else in the back. After an hour, our food came out. I got the brisket tacos, they were good. 8/10. My table got a chicken cheesesteak and ask for no mushrooms and ofc it came out with mushrooms... We had to get the wings, the wings were good! An hour wait good? No. 7/10. It took a weird amount of time for our last entree to come out and it was just like chicken tenders on a bun, no love. Oh and the pulled pork sandwich was more like slop. Our waitress's excuse was that they had a new chef. Sooooo I guess they decided to start training this chef during service. Food - 8/10 Service - 5/10 Atmosphere - 7/10 Overall - 6/10

We got the Korean dumplings which were very good with Asian zing sauce on them. We also got their nachos which were soggy towards the bottom but had good flavor with bbq sauce and pulled pork. Now they don't offer pulled pork sandwiches but have pull pork on the nachos. My fish and chips were soooooo salty! The tartar sauce was good and French fries. The breading was also soggy but the fish was very tender and nice. The chicken cheesesteaks were good, filling and yummy. The Ale Burger is a double smash burger with good flavor, and a good meal. The Buffalo Mac and cheese was spicy but enjoyable. The service wasssss slow and not very attentive. The manager had to come over and ask if we needed anything bc our server seemed to disappear. Really enjoyed a lunch with my family at Ale Mary's after spending a few hours at Steamtown…read more I found parking right up front on the street (lucky, plus the meters were off for the weekend according to staff). The service was slow, but once we were greeted our drinks and food came out quickly. The inside is spacious, it's in an old building dating back to the mid to late 1800's. The high ceilings and metal work inside gives an old industrial feel. The menu had a lot of tasty choices and the beer menu was fantastic. The list of the handhelds/sandwiches is too long to list, but I could have ordered any of them. They have over 100 small and large craft/international beers in bottles or cans and around 20 taps. I had a couple cans of delicious Russian River/WeldWerks collab Convivial which is a hazy imperial IPA. My wife really enjoyed their Buffalo Chicken Flatbread 13.95 - popcorn chicken, house wing sauce, cooper cheese, blue cheese, scallions. It was more than a serving, sizable and fresh. The flavors were balanced and outstanding. I had the Bison Cheesesteak 16.95 - Chipotle bison, pepperjack, bacon chutney, mushrooms, chipotle aioli, toasted hoagie roll. The flavors were balanced, roll was fresh, the serving was large and it was pretty darn good. The meat had a hot dog/pork pate taste. My 5 year old son ordered grilled chicken street tacos 13.95 - Pico de gallo, jalapeno sour cream, queso. Choice of grilled chicken or beef. It came with three and he ate half. We all had a bite and agreed they were fresh, easy to handle and had a delicious mix of flavors, especially the chicken and cheese. My other son had the House Grilled Cheese 9.95 - Boursin, pepperjack, & cooper cheeses on grilled brioche. He enjoyed it, but said it was a little spicy. Although they lacked a "kids menu" my guys found something they enjoyed. The inside was family friendly and they were treated well by the staff. We thought Ale Mary's was a great gastropub and will absolutely repeat when we are back in Scranton. Thanks guys!
