Ragnacci's Family Restaurant & Lounge - Jumbo crab cakes over spinach. Comes with side, salad bar, soup and potato

I have loved coming here since I was a little girl with my Mom- the amazing little salad bar and…read moreit's always nicely decorated for all the holidays. This visit wasn't the best- 13 dollars for a small plate of calamari ( normally the portion is double this photo) and it wasn't seasoned at all. However, the crab cakes were amazing so perhaps they redeemed themselves. I do wish they offered a vegetarian version of the soups for those of us that are not meat eaters.

Be forewarned that although the staff were all wearing masks and they do provide hand sanitizer, this is a small restaurant and the tables are fairly close together. There are barriers between some of the tables but some don't have barriers. It didn't bother me but I figure it might bother some people. They have specials listed in the menu as well as additional specials on a board in the dining room. We ended up with three appetizers accidentally which was my fault and not the servers. Actually I'm glad it turned out that way because all three were fantastic. We had lobster ravioli with shrimp which was in a pink sauce and was fabulous. We also had fried calamari. Also delicious. And my wife ordered stuffed clams. I loved how they made the stuffed clams because instead of chopping up the clams they left the clams whole in the shells with the stuffing over the top. Loved that. For our entrées my wife ordered the Stuffed Sole. Although I didn't try it she said it was delicious. I ordered the Veal Florentine. The linguine was cooked perfectly al dente and the sauce was out of this world. However, the veal itself was a little overcooked and chewy. It still doesn't take away from how good everything else was at this restaurant. If you go, I highly recommend getting a reservation. Oh, and get this: 3 appetizers, 2 Entrées, 3 cocktails and 2 beers was less than $100 with 20% tip.

Came here for dinner, and the food was OK. I got a chicken sandwich, which was good, but messy and…read morebig, and a fruity pebbles cheesecake, which I did not like at all. The service was OK, with there not being a lot of servers, but that's how places are these days. The ambiance was great though, with nice decor but a huge TV right in front of me, which was OK. I do recommend going though as it has a nice big menu for all.

Our waitress and the hostess were very friendly and explained options to me, even confirming one item I accidentally ordered... not realizing it was missing the GF identifier on the menu, so I wouldn't be able to eat it. My meal was the salmon bowl with edamame succotash and it was absolutely delicious. The rest of our group had a caprese chicken panini with sweet potato tots, a burger with bacon and blue cheese with regular tots, and the last had a side salad and tomato soup in a bread bowl. The soup/bread bowl was the only item without rave reviews. It was easy to have a conversation at our table, and there were TVs with college football on so we could enjoy the ending to a few games. Nice place, parking was easy (across the street), and service was fantastic. Will definitely visit again when we are in the area.
