Beer flight. 5 for $10

Great service. Beer was decent. Their brews were solid. I preferred some of the guest taps more but that's just a personal preference. I'd go back next time I was in town.

Chicken wings and bacon jam burger

5 stars is for the food and service. Not that it's a high class restaurant... Service was super friendly, she was so kind and on the ball every moment! Weird but you order and pay off a QR code on the table but super easy. Learning curve ! The food was excellent the flatbread was crazy good especially the crust. We had honey chicken w onions n tomatoes. Also a side of delicious Brussel sprouts! We are coming back.

Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff. A tv to watch your favorite sports team. Clean. The sweet corn bites were tasty.

Voodoo knocked it out of the park tonight. Everything was perfect. Very fresh and delicious. Food runners were friendly and fun. Chill live blues music. Relaxed atmosphere. Food was just on point. Ate so much. Good job. I feel like Brendan Fraser in "The Whale". Tables and floors spotless. Condiments stocked up. The price point is still a little steep but I think (I hope) it's because gratuity is sort of built into the prices due to the fact that most people don't feel obliged to tip at a self-serve type place like this. Overall a five star night and I have already started telling people how good it was. We will be back!

Bbq brisket Mac n cheese

Scranton is not known to be a foodie town or have much of a beer scene either and my visit to Voodoo Brewing proved that. We walked in on a Friday night to the bar and while it wasn't crowded up there we sat for awhile without being greeted or acknowledged. Finally, someone did stop to give us menus and take our orders. The beers are listed with no prices. I went with the Issa IPA which was good. I also ordered the bbq brisket Mac n cheese. My husband ordered wings but to get more than one sauce you have to do two orders of six instead of ordering the dozen. They brought out my order fast and. I was disappointed they didn't bring our food out together and placed my utensils on the bar with no napkin underneath it. Just the bare bar. My husband's wings came out at least 10-15 minutes later. So I tried to eat the Mac n cheese which wasn't good. It was very one note and basically a bowl of salt. I barely made a dent. It basically looked just like my photo when I was done. Nobody bothered to ask me if anything was wrong or if I liked it or anything. The girl just took it away as I'd it was an empty plate. Every time we wanted to order a beer. I had to flag some one down. When I asked the price of the beers we were having, I was told they were different prices. I had to prompt her to find out what those prices were. Overall, not a great or even good experience. Poor service, food wasn't good and the beers were ok. I wouldn't recommend.

Brussel Sprouts

Food: The Good - The truffle fries were amongst the best I'd I've had. They were fried to perfection. I am a vegetarian but my wife reported the wings were in the same category. The Bad - The Brussel Sprout(I don't care for them prepared in any fashion personally) were reported to be over fried and kinda just tasted like charred oil. My wife tried one and the rest were left uneaten Other thoughts - I had the pulled pork nachos sans pulled pork because I am a vegetarian... the nachos had the makings of greatness but the beer cheese was lacking some crucial flavor that I am sure is in the pulled pork. I'd order them again but I'm a nacho snob so I have very high standards. Service: The Good - I read some other reviews that complained about the order via phone and lack of table service but our food and drinks came quickly and the staff was friendly. I like being able to check out whenever I was ready and not having to flag someone down for the bill. The Bad - nothing really Ambiance: The Good - This place is basically the definition of a brewpub. If you want a place to drink some finely crafted brews this is the place for you. The Bad - this place is basically the definition of a brewpub. If you enjoy shouting at your friends and saying "HUH?" to them a ton, the loud music will ensure you get the experience you want. Other thoughts: This place was clean which was a huge plus. The outdoor seating was present but seemed somewhat limited compared to the inside seating, which makes sense given the cold winters and hot summers in Scranton. Drinks: The Good - I very much enjoyed my lager and my wife had a cider that she too enjoyed. They had a large selection of beer, cider, and cocktails to meet the needs of most folks. Often it's tough to go to breweries with non beer drinkers but not here. The Bad - Nothing bad to say! 3 star rating explained: Some of the food was awesome, I really enjoyed the beer. I liked the hassle free checkout system. The not so good Brussel sprouts and slightly too loud music kinda took away from the experience overall. 100% will go again and revisit this rating to potentially bump it up a star or two.

Pretzel

Drinks are good food was great! I did the white pizza minus the garlic aioli (tried it on the side) and added pepperoni it was delicious. My husband loved the nachos he is still talking about them. They had like a homemade wonton type chip. And the pretzel is fresh and soft and buttery not frozen!! Comes with beer cheese and a mustard.

Food was amazing and atmosphere is fun. Good seating but busy on weekends so plan accordingly. All ordering is done via cellphone.

The food was alright. Stick to the basics for this place. My friend said that he thought the wings…read morewere small. I thought they were a fine size. The buffalo sauce was tasty. The really spicy sauce is very spicy and doesn't taste great. We got it on the side which was a good choice. Wing was well-cooked and tender. Bread and butter type of stuff. I enjoyed it. However, I had some of my friend's pizza. Would be fine for kids. I was not a fan. I know NEPA folks have different standards for pizza and it may just not be to my tastes as a born-and-raised Delawarean. (I'm not saying Delaware has excellent pizza). The burger was good. Nothing to write home about. Server was friendly. Cleared the clutter well and very personable. The key to this place is the ambiance and the beers. Great place to watch a game with friends. Perfect amount of patrons. Looks clean and cabin-like. Located outside of Lakeland orchards on the way south. I imagine the place would be receptive to larger parties if you called ahead. TLDR: Overall good experience, go for the vibes and beer. Stick to bar food.

We were traveling through the area and looked for a local brewery for dinner once we arrived. I…read moremade a quick reservation on Open Table because I wasn't sure how busy it would be. Because of traveling through, we didn't realize it was karaoke night. It was very entertaining but very loud for a family-friendly dinner. I'm no pearl-clutcher, but people were swearing while singing and talking into the microphone in case that is not your thing. The beer was all very good. Probably the most pleasing assortment of beers we've had at a brewery in a while. I had the Whistle Wheat Ale w/ Blueberry. Among the table we also had: Gooseberry Gose, Smooph and Hillclimb Hustle. We ordered tasters of the Mango Habanero and Blackberry Jalapeño. All were delicious. The food mostly got thumbs up. The homemade pickles were SO close to being amazing. They were hammered with salt. I couldn't even finish one of them. Maybe someone went a little heavy with the salt on this batch. The Mushroom Swiss burger had the same issue: something in there was over salted. Not sure if it was while cooking the mushrooms/ onions or in the aioli. Someone at the table ordered the chicken sandwich and it.came out a bit overcooked. For the thumbs up: the Outpost Burger, the pizza, and the Blackened Chicken Fajita wrap. Giving 4 stars because the beer at the heart of the brewery was so good. The food was hit or miss but is worth a stop. Karaoke was funny but listening to the same three people sing over and over - maybe it's not the right entertainment? Or maybe it was a bad night and I'm just a random tourist swinging through town. Totally possible.
