The food was alright. Stick to the basics for this place. My friend said that he thought the wings were small. I thought they were a fine size. The buffalo sauce was tasty. The really spicy sauce is very spicy and doesn't taste great. We got it on the side which was a good choice. Wing was well-cooked and tender. Bread and butter type of stuff. I enjoyed it. However, I had some of my friend's pizza. Would be fine for kids. I was not a fan. I know NEPA folks have different standards for pizza and it may just not be to my tastes as a born-and-raised Delawarean. (I'm not saying Delaware has excellent pizza). The burger was good. Nothing to write home about. Server was friendly. Cleared the clutter well and very personable. The key to this place is the ambiance and the beers. Great place to watch a game with friends. Perfect amount of patrons. Looks clean and cabin-like. Located outside of Lakeland orchards on the way south. I imagine the place would be receptive to larger parties if you called ahead. We were traveling through the area and looked for a local brewery for dinner once we arrived. I made a quick reservation on Open Table because I wasn't sure how busy it would be. Because of traveling through, we didn't realize it was karaoke night. It was very entertaining but very loud for a family-friendly dinner. I'm no pearl-clutcher, but people were swearing while singing and talking into the microphone in case that is not your thing. The beer was all very good. Probably the most pleasing assortment of beers we've had at a brewery in a while. I had the Whistle Wheat Ale w/ Blueberry. Among the table we also had: Gooseberry Gose, Smooph and Hillclimb Hustle. We ordered tasters of the Mango Habanero and Blackberry Jalapeño. All were delicious. The food mostly got thumbs up. The homemade pickles were SO close to being amazing. They were hammered with salt. I couldn't even finish one of them. Maybe someone went a little heavy with the salt on this batch. The Mushroom Swiss burger had the same issue: something in there was over salted. Not sure if it was while cooking the mushrooms/ onions or in the aioli. Someone at the table ordered the chicken sandwich and it.came out a bit overcooked. For the thumbs up: the Outpost Burger, the pizza, and the Blackened Chicken Fajita wrap. Giving 4 stars because the beer at the heart of the brewery was so good. The food was hit or miss but is worth a stop. Karaoke was funny but listening to the same three people sing over and over - maybe it's not the right entertainment? Or maybe it was a bad night and I'm just a random tourist swinging through town. Totally possible. read more

The good: This was such a spacious place! The waitress was attentive and helpful. You can order a flight of however many beers you'd like. We enjoyed the blueberry and orange beers. The food portions are insanely large and the food was really good! The bad: it was loud! They did have karaoke going on but it was the same 4 people including the host singing, kudos to them for trying but it was not very entertaining. read more

Making our way through the NEPA breweries. Breaker Brewing Outpost has a very nice vegetarian menu. So thanks for that. Place it big and clean. Waitress all we friendly and nice. We arrived around 4:30-5 and didn't have to wait long for anything. Which makes out little human very happy. Mac and cheese was great. Veggie Focaccia was good, Hummus and veggies tasty. That said we were there for the beers. 12 flights make that 11 bc I'm not drinking a seltzer, sorry but no. Beers were good. Unfortunately I didn't have a omg I love this beer moment. But that doesn't mean you won't love their beers. If you like a fruity sweet beer please do try this place. read more

Ok so we haven't been back to Outpost since it first opened. I'll start with atmosphere. Very nice inside wooden booths, privacy for fun times with your group of people. Plenty of seating. Bring a sweater. I can't say anything about the outside my son said he enjoyed it when he went a couple of weeks before us. Place is dog friendly. Even have a menu for our furry friends. Menu-I feel it is kind of limited. May only have one burger listed. Many creations on menu . A lot out of ordinary. I thought when we went back the old menu was still available which I found to be perfect. Bring back the Shepards pie. Over all it was nice to revisit. The menu wasn't what we expected. Very limited and limited choices. Beer selection is wonderful. Nice place to have or try a beer. Buffalo macaroni and cheese is good a bit overwhelming . There is a lot of macaroni. Taste is decent. Not incredibly hot. Skip the pierogi nachos. Not a fan. Somethings should not be mixed. At least not called nachos. Not a play on nachos. There is some kind of sweet sauce over it and maybe a piece of meat. The pierogis by themselves are good deep fried with potato filling. The wing bites were good but a small portion. We did order the smaller order but the pieces went from nice size bite to bits and pieces. If menu changes we will go back. If we want a go selection of beer we will be back sooner. read more

We love Breaker! This was our first time to the Outpost. They have very good happy hour beer prices until 6pm. The pretzel was good. The hummus with veggies & chips is garlicky deliciousness! We also shared the cheesesteak which was also very good but the fries were outstanding! Loved getting tasty fries that are served hot!! read more

Stopped here to have a bite to eat and some drinks. Upon arriving the place was clean. There were about 15 people in the place and 1/2 that in employees. Sat at the bar for approx 15 minutes while the staff played on iPads and talked to each other before we were even acknowledged. At that point we were slid a QR code and told the menu could be found here. No beer suggestions, no small talk, no nothing. Ordered 2 beers that turned out to be very fruity in taste. Oddly it was in the menu as a simple pale ale. Had my beer and then sat by an empty glass for another 10 minutes. At that point chose not to order food and move on. I will not go back. Don't see this place lasting much longer. read more

(4.5 stars) Made an online reservation. Table was ready with a high chair. Flight of beers was tasty, more hits than misses for me personally. Food was tasty (sandwiches, fries, appetizer pizza) and came very quickly after ordering. Love love LOVE the newly added television situation. Service was polite and very friendly. Not a huge fan of using my phone to access the menu, we all miss paper copies. We will definitely come back. read more

The hubby and I visited Breaker Brewing Outpost for the first time last night. It was their family game night that brought us in; it was the first time they had hosted this event and I hope they host again because we had a great time. For dinner, I had the roasted veggie wrap. It came with fries and the salad of the day, which was macaroni salad. The veggies in the wrap were roasted nicely and served with just the right amount of dressing to add some brightness to the flavor without making the veggies or the wrap itself soggy. The fries were hot and perfectly salted. The macaroni salad was also tasty, with some of the same veggies in it that were in my wrap. But the house-made pickles that came on the side were spectacular, easily the best pickles I've ever had. These crunchy discs of cucumber start out sour, almost sour enough to make you pucker, then evolve to a hint of sweetness that rounds out with a hint of garlic and dill flavor. I'd go basic just for the pickles. The hubby had a burger with the same fries and macaroni salad I had, and he was satisfied with it. It was a plain burger, so there's not really much to say except it's what he wanted and he was happy with it. I can't comment on the quality of the alcohol since neither of us really drink. They did have a nice selection of their own products on tap, plus a selection of cocktails and local wines. Staff were friendly, competent, and accommodating. read more

All the good things about Breakers without having to drive to Wilkes-Barre! Their peanut butter chocolate porter is one of my all time favorite beers. Their flatbreads are consistently delicious and the service has always been warm. A wonderful addition to the area. read more

Have been to the original in Wilkes-Barre a few times and loved it. Glad we tried the outpost, which is a bit more convenient for us location-wise. They do have an outdoor area but the day wasn't spectacular and they were doing a GREAT job inside following all Covid guidelines - 3 of us were able to sit at the bar socially distanced from other customers. Tried some beers, cocktails, and food - boneless wing bites and pulled pork queso were both tasty! They had some live bluegrass music at the time. Staff was awesome in every way! Really friendly waitstaff, however, had to ask for silverware, never received a knife, and no menus. I get that a lot of places do that now and you have to use a QR code but it's annoying. Salad dressing on the Caesar Salad was amazing if you like garlic. (I love garlic) read more
