Jam Room also features a large collection of albums that you can play to set the proper mood. One of the adults in our group is gluten sensitive, so the cherry vanilla cider was a big hit. I went for a pint myself! It was just the right amount of sweet with big flavor. I liked the brown ale the best (not a surprise for me). And Jam Room has cool people behind the bar! We made great conversation and were able to just relax. I ended up taking the brown ale home in cans and it held up just as nicely. Another company sells food inside the brewery, typical pub fare like fries and pizza. It's always nice to have a food option; we do not always get that in New Jersey. Definitely check out Jam Room!

It's a light, refreshing beer with the perfect hints of cucumber and watermelon and it is absolute heaven on a hot day. The lime lager was also excellent. We took our drinks and went out to the patio area under the tent where they were doing the pizza vending. There was a nice vibe in the air: a mix of folks and ages, but everyone just chilling and having a fun time. Bugs weren't too bad! The outdoor pizza set up is John's of Arthur Ave, which we have always had as to-go, but wow, they are bringing their A-game here with the outdoor ovens! The pizzas are INSANELY GOOD! Like, Razza-style impressive. We were seriously blown away because it's nothing like what we've had in the past from there. We ordered their white pie with ricotta and the "Bronx Bomber." DAMN. Perfect char and chew on the dough, and while we know that the ricotta on the first pie wasn't homemade, it practically tasted it. The BB pizza was outrageously delicious as well: loved the meat and banana peppers with the hot honey, which we're normally not a fan of, but it was perfect here. Cannot say enough good things about the pizza! Overall, a wonderful visit despite a heated conversation about world events at our table! Four very happy stars and we hope to have just as good of a visit next time, which will hopefully be soon.

We ended up buying a 4 pack of each to bring home with us. I was so pleasantly surprised by their BBQ offerings. It is very easy to mess up BBQ, but this BBQ was so wonderfully prepared. I have been to so many breweries and BBQ joints that serve dried out, over-sauced meat. The offerings from Smok'd were all excellent. During our first visit we ordered the brisket sandwich and the pulled pork sandwich. The brisket was super juicy and tender. The pulled pork was also juicy and tender. They offered BBQ sauce on the side if we wanted. During our second visit, we sat in the vault. This brewery is in a location that was formerly a bank. The vault was a nice secluded spot. We ordered the ribs and brisket with street corn salad, mac and cheese, and beans. The ribs were fall off the bone tender and the brisket had a beautiful smoke ring. The mac and cheese was super creamy and had a wonderful taste of childhood. It was perfect for a day that had a -23F windchill. Overall, great beer, great food, and great staff. The Kung Pho Brussels sprouts were probably the surprise favorite -- crispy, flavorful, and something different from the usual brewery menu. The beer selection was excellent as always, and the atmosphere is relaxed, welcoming, and fun. My kids love to hang in the vault and play board games. Definitely worth stopping in if you're in the area.
