I actually hate to give this 4 stars because the beer, food, and venue is 5+ stars. The service…read morehowever was abysmal. The child that was serving us did not tell us that the kitchen was closing at 7:30pm on a Thursday and we could not order any food past this time. We tried to order an additional round of food at 7:40 and were told we could not. Thankfully, at that time we asked how to order takeout beer and they told us we better hurriedly go up to the main counter since it was last call for takeout beer as well. When we went to order crowlers of the beer that was not available for takeout in cans, the "bartender" audibly sighed before telling us each one would take 5 minutes to complete. Again, beer was great, food was great - shoutout to the kitchen for the curry ketchup specifically - front of house is hurting your business.

So this is our first time here, and I didn't like it at all. The food wasn't that good. The music…read morewas way too loud. My chicken was so overcooked that it was too hard to cut with a knife. The lady came over and she said she was gonna comp my meal. I told her she didn't have to do that because I did eat the spaghetti, or atleast my son ate the spaghetti, so she gave me twenty percent off or at least she said she did, on my receipt, It says fifteen percent off. $2.70 off. Yeah, I don't think we're coming back here. I should have took the full comp off the meal. I was trying to be fair but in the end, I feel it wasnt fair at all. There was a whole piece chicken that wasn't cuttable or chewable. I posted on my facebook and people replies that the food wasn't so good here. I'm actually shocked at my own experience. Because usually when a parking lot is always packed. It's a good sign.

The hotel itself is cozy, full of charming little spaces, and we truly felt pampered throughout our stay. It's pet-friendly (huge plus!), and everyone was incredibly kind to my dog--he had the best time exploring the hiking trails with me. The vibe is very relaxed, peaceful, and the perfect place to disconnect from the world. Now for the real star of the show: the food. We did the tasting menu and it was so good. I loved the intention behind each dish and how they highlighted seasonal ingredients and the local farm sources. My personal favorites were the mushroom dish and the venison--both were phenomenal. The staff was warm, attentive, and did a great job walking us through each course. A few small observations: The dining room was a little too dark--I love seeing my food, especially when it's so beautifully presented. Since it was my birthday, I expected a bit more than a lone candle. No cookie, treat, or even a candle placed on top of dessert--it just didn't feel special. Dessert wasn't for me. It was somewhere between a milkshake and ice cream, but with a strange mochi-like texture and an overpowering amount of lavender. It felt like eating soap. The quail course tasted amazing, but the presentation wasn't appealing. It looked a bit messy, and leaving the head on (even though it wasn't edible) felt off. That said, everything was incredible--thoughtfully crafted, delicious, and visually stunning. I thoroughly enjoyed every bite and the whole experience. Highly recommend--can't wait to return!

This review is for the restaurant only…read more Made a reservation for dinner on a weeknight. My party of 4 was a little early, so we had a drink in the tavern downstairs first; bartender made a great whisky sour. For dinner, we did the a la carte menu. I tried: + Cabbage + Ricotta toast + Grilled broccoli + Mangalista pork chop + Ricotta dumpling + Cheeseburger + Spiced cake The highlights were the cabbage, pork chop and burger. Overall I thought the food was excellent, though I wished they offered sides (especially some type of a potato for the burger). Would have gladly paid for additional sides a la carte.

Service, beer, food, location -- all are amazing!…read more We were greeted right away upon arrival and had the food-ordering process explained to us, including where to order food versus where to grab beverages. The indoor ambiance was fun and casual, with comfy seating options as well as more traditional dining tables. We would have enjoyed sitting inside, but the weather was just too perfect the day we visited! There were plenty of great places to sit outside, including a patio and picnic tables scattered throughout the property. There's also plenty of green space for dogs and kids to enjoy, plus hiking nearby. I honestly wish we lived closer so we could enjoy this place more often! Oh, and did I mention the best burger I've had in a while?! It was thick, juicy, packed with flavor, and absolutely delicious. Great beer, great food, great atmosphere -- definitely worth a visit!

It was a nice hike and we had a nice time exploring. It's an out and back so it drops you back at the brewery. Had to wait a bit on line for beers and 45 minute wait for food. Thankful they had a veggie burger and my husband got the grilled chicken. Both came with fries. We enjoyed the outdoors by the pond where the kids were searching for tadpoles and fish. It was a great time to hike and then to sit and relax with. a beer. I got the Hex Hazy IPA and loved it.
