Now, having moved away from Pennsylvania decades ago, I haven't been able to find kielbasa that is as good as that from Schiff's from my childhood memories. So, during a recent trip "back home", I stopped by Schiff's to stock up on kielbasa. Our daughter also requested that we pick up its necessary accompaniment, horseradish. My family loves both the regular white horseradish (spicier) and the red one that is prepared with beets. Schiff's also has an excellent selection of other meats: a deli with sliced meats, cheeses, and specialty salads; fresh fruits and vegetables; ethnic foods such as pirogies; and more.

Their meat made for the BEST filet Mignon shish kebabs I have EVER eaten. They also make artisanal charcuterie from what I could see, and had some super special thick cut bacon that a previous customer was raving about, who was also picking up a special ground meat order he requested to be made with specific cuts of meat. Paul, his wife and family are just charming and very welcoming.
