Almost all of our food was terrible. The chips were sonstale they bent under their own weight if you shook them a little. The chicken fajitas were the worst I've had anywhere. Got the $5 pretzel app, I guess the regular warm pretzel is $8 and change, 1250 calories vs the $5 app 1650 calories. So good doesn't even taste like a pretzel, it's AMAZING. We stopped here for a late lunch. Have to say it was pretty good. I had the whiskey rib's. I would say very good, like the sauce and Cole slaw was good. My wife had the fish and chips and said it was one of the best she's had in a while. My friend had a burger, said it was good, not great. And his wife had the whiskey chicken sandwich, said it was very good. Service was good, just had to ask a couple times for extra tartar sauce. But overall good service and the staff was nice. We came here to celebrate my daughter's bday. I ask the hostess if they sign "Happy Birthday." She said they do but don't have enough employees yet. I said okay no biggie. Didn't care either way. Well after we were done eating waiting for the check our waitress came over and surprise my 3 yr old daughter with Ice Cream and candles and even sang "Happy Birthday " to her. I stopped at TGI Fridays about a month ago. We were seated and left alone for almost twenty minutes. Some of the wait staff looked at us, but never came over to take a drink order or anything. So, we got up and left. What I assumed was the manager because she had a different colored shirt on than the others asked why we were leaving. I told her because we were never waited on. She said oh I'm sorry and let us walk. I thought maybe she would of tried to get us to stay and personally help us out or something. We booked a table for 5 people on their app on Saturday, we didn't have to wait for the table which is good and the waiter was nice but the food took forever to come, probably around 40 minutes. But the food tasted good and when we complained about the waiting time the manager came to us and apologized and we also got free desert. The food is what you'd expect from a Friday's. Mostly packaged, pre-preped items that require minimal cooking. I do have to say their new soft pretzel appetizer with beer cheese sauce is pretty awesome and something that my girlfriend and I will stop in for on a regular basis. Hopefully they'll keep them on the menu. As other reviewers have stated, it does smell a little off inside. Not overpowering, but you get this weird scent when you walk in the door. I would have rated three stars, but the service is usually pretty terrible compared to other Friday's I've been to. We were greated quickly by Lois. My husband forgot his reading glasses and she was very helpful. She even checked the lost and found to see if there was a pair he could use. My husband had the sizzling chicken and shrimp. The food was seasoned very well and came out hot and timely. I had the ribeye and grilled lobster tail. The ribeye was phenomenal! Had a delish garlic butter sauce on it and it was cooked to my request. The tails however were not good at all. Mushy...not cleaned well and did not taste good at all. I am rating this restaurant one star for the fact that our party of 5 ( 4 adults and 1 five yr old grandson) was seated promptly outside, but that good experience ended there. Drink orders were taken followed by a 20 min wait for an appetizer order ( not delivered, just the order taken ) . By the time our appetizers arrived, we noticed that 2 other tables were getting their entrees and they had arrived 15 min after us and had 6 people in their group. We had a sudden feeling that this was going to be a longer evening here than expected, lucky for us our grandson is very patient. We had to inquire twice about our order after 45 min. passed ( hamburgers and 1 order of Mac and cheese was our order, nothing big! ) An apology was given by our waitress stating " we are backed up by pickup orders". However, the other 2 tables were not affected by this as they were eating,,we were still waiting. 15 min later our order arrived lukewarm. We did receive a visit by an apologetic manager who offered us future discount cards , however they were not valid in our area ( Upstate NY and South Jersey) , so she offered $15 each off of our separate checks. However, when the check was given nothing was taken off!! By this time we had been there for 2 hours, not exactly fair for a patient 5 yr old and hamburger orders. [ in addition, our grandson received his Mac n cheese in a hot bowel, I had to transfer it to my plate as he was trying to cool off his fingers ] . I use to come to eat at this location for years but then the service went down hill food,service,management terrible. Them one day I decided to give this place another try and to my surprise everything was excellent food service . Thanks to new management the new manager jenell is amazing everything a good manager should be she treated me and my family like her own greeted us made sure food and service was good. I've often seen my waiter or waitress texting or checking their phone by the soda station in the middle of the restaurant ( food side), just hanging out, when I've wanted a refill or needed something. Went in for dinner with my son last night (Saturday). The wait was fairly short for a Saturday (10mins) and we had a table. The waiters/waitresses are friendly and usually go out of their way to provide great service! I left my Stripes card there one day and the manager kept it and returned it to me the next time he saw me there. Although the prices are highly inconsistent (that's obviously a corporate thing), the food is consistently good.
