Our dinner and entire evening was ruined from the start by an extremely rude hostess. She overheard our family mentioning surprise that there were only two servers and a bartender working while many tables were still dirty. She asked whether we wanted a booth or table; when we said booth, she abruptly tossed four menus onto a nearby table and walked away without a word. We stood in the middle of the dining area assuming she was coming back to wipe down a booth, but she never returned. The single star is for our server, who immediately read the situation, asked if we'd been abandoned, and then provided excellent, attentive service. She was professional and kind and deserved far more credit. Unfortunately, the hostess's attitude set a terrible tone and should not be what guests encounter in a customer-facing role. read more

I'm not sure what was the worse -- the food or the service!! We ordered the Fried Cheese Curds, Fried Pickles, Jalapeño Boneless Wings, Parmesan Garlic Boneless Wings, the Buffalo Ranch Chicken Sandwich and the children's Chicken Tenders Although the waitress was friendly, she didn't have a clue. She forgot everything, we had to ask multiple times for plates, sugar for iced tea, etc. we also had to wait about 30 minutes for the appetizers to be delivered. The Fried Pickles and the Cheese Curds were just ok. They were very salty. You could actually see the salt on them. Both orders of boneless wings were terrible and also very salty. The Chicken Sandwich was terrible. The chicken was so rubbery I kept on checking to see if it was cooked and it was. I could barely eat half it was that bad. The chicken tenders on the other hand were so overcooked they were very dry, tough and chewy. This is my son's favorite restaurant. They were out of chicken tenders. He has a food aversion and food allergy so they said they can just bring out plain chicken. When they brought it out it looked just like kids chicken tenders to me. So that was confusing. I didn't get my fries until the end of my meal. I had to ask about them . I have been to may various locations, so the slow service to be acknowledged after sitting down was expected. The quality of the French fries was not. I put up with the service because I enjoy the thin French fries. Last night the fries were dried out like Moab desert. The food was slightly better than most bar or pub food but pricey. Some of the menu options required an "additional" purchase for instance if you wanted additional sauces it was an additional $, no bottomless drinks (non alcoholic). The portions were generous but sauce flavors were average and I'm quite sure the "medium" sauce was the same as Red Robin's Buzz sauce. Again, no signature dishes and really no reason to pick BWW over any other casual pub eatery. Being in the Scranton area there are great local pubs serving some really great signature dishes. I'd check them out first. One side note, the chairs in this BWW were the most uncomfortable spartan things you could ever sit on giving new meaning "hard wood" a milk crate would have been more comfortable. Stopped at this BWW on a road trip and it was not great. We went around 9 and the sign says closes at midnight so you'd think they'd have time to make the food fresh or least hot, but everything was pretty cold and the fries were stale. Service was quick & friendly and the place was pretty empty. The brisket tacos, if the meat was warmer would've been rlly good. As a HUGE fan of Bdubs, wings, and March Madness, I was very excited that I was able to come here for some games and a beer on a work trip. Unfortunately when I sat down there were no TVs that had the March Madness tournament games on. Since they are a sponsor of the tournament I expected them to have the game on, but was sadly disappointed. It took me talking to 3 different people and a manager to get one game on. At one point Judge Judy was on the audio, NO GAMES. The food was decent as expected, but I went there specifically for the games. I read others review of service there, I've only eaten inside this one twice and both times were NFL playoff game times and the service I received was always satisfactory and our food always arrived on time. Having lived in many cities in the US where Buffalo Wild Wings are jam packed, this one is usually not overly busy. Why is that? It's not because the wings or sauces suck. The three best places for wings in this area were Chicken Coop ( burned down) Quaker Steak ( forced to move by landlord) and Hurricane Grill In steamtown (mall died). Then they bring in Buffalo Wild Wings at another crappy mall and people in this area don't like it because it tastes good People in this area like soggy, vinegar soaked, Luke warm, nasty wings from these crappy old forge style pizza places and swear by places like Kelly's and Nina's which all suck. Food in Scranton is pretty much all disgusting and these people love it to have something to be proud of. Buffalo Wild Wings is the only place I've tried up here where the wings aren't disgustingly soggy. I don't mean by sauce either, they are soggy like someone boils them or broils them. Absolute garbage. It'll be a shame to see this place leave on the account all the people in this area who eat cardboard pizza with ketchup and American cheese on it. read more

Slower than slow. Apathetic is the best word that describes this place. That about sums it up.

I went to place , it was absolutely terrible service, food was alright but overall it was not a great experience. My waitress said it was really busy but the tables next to us was literally empty. I didn't even get a real cup, I got a flimsy plastic one and I got a damn set of plastic silverware to go with it . Overall I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone! We also showed up at the start of the Villanova game and we still have not gotten our food yet until the second half of the game was nearly over. My child was starving waiting for almost have an hour just for a waitress to come to our table. We had to walk over to apple bees and got a way better meal and service 10 out of 10 would not recommend coming to this shitwhole. Lastly the food was so damn expensive like do they think everyone that goes there is a millionaire like god damn. Lower the damn prices and maybe you'll get more customers but even if they lowered the prices I still wouldn't go because of the shitty service. The food was also as cold as the damn ice in my drink. I've been going here since they opened n it's been nothing but downhill anymore and I didn't even realize that was possible a few months ago but they outdid themselves with another terrible meal. I order food to go and they tell me 1:00 so I get there at 1 and then I stand for about 5 minutes trying to get someone's attention. Finally a girl comes over that I didn't even think was working cause she was sitting at a table with her friend walks over n goes "oh u have a mobile order?" And grabs it out the cabinet. I go out to my car and the food is so old. I don't understand this place at all nowadays and they actually get me so angry. On Saturday July 11, 2020, my parents and I decided to switch from our local bar's wings and order from our nearby BWW instead this time(as the bar making the flavor I liked)and I know I've had and liked the sweet BBQ wings when visiting my nephews in Delaware. We ordered through the app for delivery. Dad ordered 10 traditional sweet BBQ but they came with very little sauce on them. Mom ordered the "Less than ultimate" nachos with no jalapeños but the nachos were very bland/wet and the topping, only chili and some sour cream, had little taste to it. Also the dish advertised 2-3 dips which were not delivered. I did order the sweet BBQ wings but decided to try the honey BBQ too. So, I ordered 10 traditional, splitting sweet BBQ and honey BBQ sauce. Well, I got 5 sweet BBQ traditional and 5 honey BBQ BONELESS??! Not sure if the order was rushed and not checked for accuracy before delivered or what? We might have to order elsewhere or go back to the local bar next time which is usually every other week.
