Came here before a movie! It had been a really long time since I'd eaten at a Red Lobster. In fact, I didn't realize there were any open still. Our server was amazing - so knowledgeable on menu items and patient with all of my questions about the food, drinks and what they'd recommend. My crab legs were delicious albeit messy and the cheddar biscuits are still as good as I remember. I love the ice in the smoked old fashioned. Everything was really good and I hope they remain open. I heard that Red lobster came out with a new menu. So decided to go by and check out their Monday special. For $21, I was able to get a lobster tail and a shrimp scampi with a side. It was a really good deal and I would definitely come back for it. For $2 you're able to add a side salad. I always love their biscuits but I hadn't been here in a couple of years. However, with the new specials, I'll probably be making more appearances here. It did take us a couple minutes to get seated but they were pretty busy. Our server was nice and answered all our questions. The food came to the table pretty quickly and they kept us stocked biscuits. This location is similar to other Red Lobsters and looks the same inside. It was clean and had plenty of booths. If you're in the area I would say to check them out. read more

I've been waiting for a pretty long time to come Here. The stars finally aligned. Service was decent, when we arrived it was kind of dead but as we left the line was crazy. My wife enjoyed her Lobsterfest, I WANTED IT ALL, and my daughter had the salmon. Gotta say in all my years of heading to RL, this is one of the few times I enjoyed my food. Flavor Flav is always right, right? They get a bad rap about being mediocre seafood. And sure if you're in a coastal town, you can probably find better seafood at the ready. However, Orlando kinda blows for seafood and Red Lobster does a decent job at filling the void. First, their shrimp scampi is still the best shrimp scampi I ever had. Maybe it's because it was my first. You know what they say.... you never forget your first, especially if it's coated in hot garlic butter... or something along those lines. Let's talk about Cheddar Bay too. I wanna swim there! But those biscuits that they bring to your table! Yum. Eat them fast because once they're cold, they're not as good. They serve some of the best fish 'n chips too (their Friday special). They also have a wide variety of shrimp too (dragon, coconut, skewered, fried, etc.). Bubba Gump stole the idea! Even though it's called Red Lobster, I rarely get the lobster as the prices these days put me in the red. Plus, it's a Cockroach and they're smaller than the ones in Central FL, right? But just like Golden Corral, where everything is good EXCEPT the steak, everything other than the lobster is pretty dang good. This is a standalone restaurant so they have plenty of parking. They were not busy at all, but we did get there kind of early. Dustin was our waiter 10 out of 10 the best waiter we've had in the past two years. Definitely a casual restaurant great for date night or family celebrations The cheddar biscuits are served warm with a slight crunch. Everybody loves a fresh biscuit. We had the three for 20 shrimp dishes with coconut shrimp Walt's favorite shrimp and shrimp Alfredo. All the shrimp was cooked very well no complaints. My Husband upgraded his side to the lobster loaded baked potato, which is like nine dollars and it was a small baked potato with some lobster just tossed on top. Sam. Sam the weekend bartender. She is the sole reason I patronize Red Lobster. I don't celebrate Christmas & was in search of food service on Christmas Day. Red Lobster was open & Sam was at the helm. She is knowledgeable, professional & friendly. I too am in the food service industry. After meeting Sam & having a great experience that day with other patrons, I return on weekends when my schedule allows just to see Sam. She is an asset to the establishment. I honestly thought this location was going to go out of business with most of the other Red Lobster's. I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't at some point soon. The prices charged no longer come close to meeting or being consistent with the food offering. There is nothing on the menu that wouldn't be found better, and for a lower price, at other seafood restaurants in the area. Cheddar Bay biscuits. I love you, but I can't come to Red Lobster anymore. Definitely a change in food quality since actual Red Lobster went under. The "cheddar" bay biscuits now have a serious lack of cheddar. The server was very attentive and took good care of us. They didn't redecorate, so it looks like the same ol' Red Lobster we know and love. All the sea fairing decor and ambiance. It's always a nostalgic event when the fam ends up at a Red Lobster! This time we were there to celebrate my Mom's Birthday! This location is particularly nice and seems updated in the decor area! The service wasn't particularly attentive, but being there with family we mostly entertained ourselves and had a good time even though someone checking in to refill drinks and take orders did take an exceptionally long time. I had a shrimp trio with coconut shrimp, shrimp Alfredo and the dragon shrimp (a bang bang shrimp knockoff). All were good and of course I ate far too many cheddar bay biscuits. We also tried the tiger shrimp cocktail and those suckers were lovely and huge and chilled perfectly! Finally we split the crispy Brussels sprouts among the table and they were also very good. It's not fine dining at Red Lobster, but it's reliable and feels like childhood somehow...so I would go back, but I don't dream of it (except those biscuits...those are dream worthy). read more

I had lunch today at the Red Lobster in the Waterford Town Center since I was in the area, and I liked the location. It was lunch time on a Thursday, so it wasn't too busy and the service was very quick. I started with their iconic cheesy biscuits and a house salad with vinaigrette. I had the Lobster Pappardelle Pasta since the server recommended it, and I liked it. I think there could have been a bit more lobster meat for the price, but still very good. Overall I had a good experience, and since it's been some time since I've eaten inside a Red Lobster, I'd say it was worth the reminiscing! read more

Today is Veteran's Day and around 2:15 pm I thought that I would get some Shrimp and rolls from this restaurant. Walked in and informed the hostess that I would like to order to go and was directed to the bar area. There were several people waiting at the bar when I sat down. There was no one working behind the bar, so I started to look around for the bartender, but no one showed for 15 minutes. When she did show up behind the bar, she didn't acknowledge me or the others. She went to the printer and started making drink orders and left to deliver them. She was gone for another 15 minutes while more people started to show up at the bar and wait. When she showed up again behind the bar, I said "hello" and she turned around and started to make drink orders again. I have been waiting for 30 minutes by this time, but I know that others before me have been waiting longer. I'm wearing my US Army Veteran's ballcap and I can see that the others sitting at the bar are also Veterans. So, I decided that I needed to speak to someone in charge to let them know how disappointed I was of the lack of customer service. I spoke with Mr. PJ Carbone the General Manager for the restaurant and let him know what was happening at his restaurant. He did not apologize, he instead asked me what he could do for me? I told him he can teach his staff Customer Service and to consider customer as a valuable guest. I can see if the restaurant was busy and the tables were all filled that the waiting would be normal, but at 2:15 pm on a Tuesday with an empty restaurant with 3 servers just standing around, the lack of customer service is unacceptable! If this is the New Red Lobster business model of customer service, this is shameful. BTW - I went to Bonefish Grill down the street and was greeted promptly and was able to get my order of Bang-Bang Shrimp, sides, and rolls. It was delicious and I was actually wonderful to be treated like a customer that they wanted to server. As for my family and I, we will not be going to another Red Lobster restaurant. read more

My family is a big fan of Red Lobster, especially the Cheddar Bay biscuits and the stuffed mushrooms. We've been to six Red Lobsters, and this one near the UCF campus has been the best. It is very clean, the service was great, and the food even seemed to be prepared better than in other Red Lobsters. I recommend you try it if you also love Red Lobster. read more

Red lobster has always had my vote because there biscuits are always so addicting, warm, buttery and soft. I've had them for Soo Soo long, but over the years it has changed and I can safely say from all the locations I visited they all just seem so different. This particular location was quick to sit us down and bring us our drinks, but then it slowed down heavily. Almost an hour later they took our food order and then took about 20 mins more to get our food. It was crazy to the point that I pretty much lost my appetite. For the most part , I still enjoyed my meal and the mango ice tea was great. Really still love that the service was still good even though there was about 20 of us jam packed in one room. We gave them another chance on August 15, was pretty busy so we sat at the bar. After 45 minutes I asked the bartender where I food was and she stated it's out , I see it. We thought we were about to eat. My grandpa chose Red Lobster to celebrate his 92nd birthday. This was his first time dining at Red Lobster. Everything came out better than we expected. The cheddar biscuits were just how I remembered them. My dad ordered the Ultimate Feast, mom ordered the salmon bowl, grandpa ordered the surf & turf with lobster tail, filet mignon, loaded baked potato, mac & cheese, and a side order of sea scallops. Went in for lunch and everything was comfortable. The server and host seemed in good spirits and I didn't hear any servers complaining (I think we were near a server station so I would notice). My friend did something off the season Crab menu and I did the daily special. Not things came out and tasted fine, though I was a little concerning for part of the color of my lobster tail and the amount of butter for the shrimp I had was a lot. Went to Red Lobster in Waterford Lakes for lunch today. Had the lobster roll which was delicious. The lobster meat was flavorful and not bland. I added the warm side of butter which was included. Came with fries which were cooked perfectly, slight crisp on the outside and soft warm potato on the inside really good meal and Alayna our server was great, very kind and checked in on us to make sure we didn't need anything and sent us home with some cheesy biscuits. Definitely recommend this location and hopefully you get Alayna to take care of you (although everyone there seemed very happy and friendly). read more
