They provide a bib and gloves! As well as the utensils to crack the shells.

Oh I curse the day I tried sea food boil! Cause It's just so good!. I have gone to all of the sea food boils around UCF area and I believe Humgry Crab reigns supreme. I have gone about 6 times to Hungry Crab and here is my review: Service: 10/10. The max wait time when full was about 10mins. Once seated the waiters are fast and friendly and help you our if you have never done a sea food boil. Food: 8/10. I have gotten the Dungeons Crab, the Snow crab, the Shrimp and the Crawfish. My go to is the every day special 1 lbs of Snow crab and half lbs of shrimp for about 36$. I always get the hungry crab sauce. The food is delicious. My only reason why I dont give it a 10/10 is because sometimes the shrimp and crab is iver cooked. Which makes it harder to peel/crack their shell and pull. Overall, i believe its it worth going. I give it a solod 8.5/10

Hungry Crab is a casual spot offering delicious plates. First time visit for me, as I stopped by with family for dinner. They mentioned this place a few times, so I figured, why not try it. Our server was super friendly and attentive. Our drinks and meals arrived promptly. I went with the half pound combo as it was plenty of food for one. Their cocktails were on point too! Sadly, couldn't give it five stars as the dessert menu was lacking (only two options). Overall solid spot and worth the trip if you're visiting or new in town.

My husband and I love the Hungry Crab. We had not been in a while so, last night we decided to order and pick it up. I placed an online order. It was easy and simple, but I never received a confirmation email back. My husband decided to call and ended up placing the order over the phone. As soon as he hung up, we started driving to the restaurant as our order was going to be ready in about 15 mins. We got to the restaurant and as soon as I came in I was greeted by the host. Our order was ready for us to take home. I made payment and on my way I went. We were about to leave when our favorite server, Jing, was leaving. She saw us and came to say hi. Pickup experience a 10. This seafood restaurant is very chill. They always have good music playing. The staff is great and y heir food is amazing.

Have been here multiple times before, each time has always been great. The past few times the restaurant has been very busy, but waiting times aren't too long. We get the daily special of 1 lb of crab legs and 1/2 shrimp (no head) and it's the best deal! Food is always delicious, sometimes you have to work for your meat though. We got lucky today with some great meat pulls!!

$15 Snapper with fries. So so good!

I was really impressed with Hungry Crab. I was in the mood for fried fish, and I was going to a movie nearby, so I figured I'd give it a try. I am so glad I did! I went with the fried snapper basket. Four pieces and fries for $14. Not a bad deal. The fish was delicious! Full of flavor and seasoning (my mouth is watering just thinking back on it). The fries were on point too (y'all know I'm the Fry Snob). I'm looking forward to trying more menu items, but it's going to be hard to pull away from the snapper!

Hungry something drink - oj,pineapple juice , passion fruit , and Bacardi ? Wasn't bad but VERY sweet . Lightly poured .

The place itself is cute and great photo ops , however , it's the worst place we've eaten in Orlando for seafood . The oysters weren't bad but the red snapper was AWFUL , as was the coleslaw (inedible ) . We took one bite of each and left the entire platter there . Two tables near us complained they were going for burgers when leaving .

Hungry Crab is such a FUN place to eat seafood at! I went with coworkers and they loved the food and the experience. We ordered the special: 1 lb of one of the proteins and 1/2 lb is free! It comes with 1 corn and potatoes, more than enough for 1 person. Oh! And we ordered it with ALL the spices We also ordered the coconut shrimp as an appetizer, which was delicious. Service was quick and very nice. We will be back

I came to the Hungry Crab in honor of Mardi Gras. Growing up on the Gulf Coast, I always did a huge boil for Mardi Gras, but since I came to Orlando, I couldn't find a place within the first few years, and then gave up. Well, I try and better myself every year, and this year I said no more! I was going to find a place for my hot, spicy seafood. I did some research, and decided to give this relatively new Hungry Crab location a try. Well thank goodness that I did. This place was incredible. The inside was very interesting, because it's nestled in the skeleton of an old Chinese buffet, but that left plenty of room for huge pirate ships and giant statues of Johnny Depp. Very cool space inside. Service was great. The mix 'n' match nature of the menu had us asking a lot of questions, but our server helped us navigate our way to the correct answer. That, and they kept the refills of excellent sweet tea coming the whole time. As for the food, oh man, it was very good. I forgot exactly what the menu item we ordered was called, but it was a combo meant for two people. It was moderately spicy boiled crab legs, shrimp, crawfish, clams, and mussels, along with some corn and potatoes as accoutrements. The seafood was all cooked pretty good. I want to go out of my way to say that almost all the boiled seafood I have had in Orlando, cough or Melbourne cough, ever has been severely overcooked. If you're an offending seafood owner and are reading this, please call up Hungry Crab and figure out what they're doing differently than you. Anyway, it was cooked good, it was seasoned good, and there was just the perfect amount of spicy, garlicky butter at the bottom of the bucket for you to sop up with the corn, the potatoes, whatever you want. So good. Overall, so this place is just dynamite. Maybe it's a chain, but they're a chain and other places are not for a reason. I plan on coming here every Mardi Grad like clockwork.

Bella was amazing!!! She helped our party of 15 all by herself. She didn't forget anything and she always recapped before she walked away. The food was awesome. Dungeness crab special was enough for my daughter and me to finish. The drinks were good, too. I had a Watermelon Cosmo and it was perfect. The huge crab fixtures are great photo backdrops. I will definitely return!

Pros: The ambiance is a lot of fun! It's semi-fish tank vibe provides a lot of fun things to look around at, including a giant Jack Sparrow! Service was nice. She prepared us well for our messy meal, and kept the drinks flowing the whole time. Food was excellent. We have a hard time finding good seafood in Orlando, so the good cook on these delicate little morsels was really a nice surprise. Cons: No cons. Just prepare to get messy. Thank God they give you a bib. Lol. Tips: I feel like you'll have a good experience no matter what you order, but try to get a combo, because it's fun to switch back and forth between things you're eating. Bring a hair tie.

Not bad, your typical crab joint if anything. Nothing extremely out of the ordinary or special. I will say that the drinks were pretty nice and the service was excellent as well as we were checked on several times throughout the night. The waiter gave us the suggestions as far as what's good and we just took our time consuming drinks while enjoying the company. So it was actually a decent place to go and check out. Like I said it's another crab joint so I wouldn't be pressed to go back again unless I'm in the neighborhood and it makes sense.

Other than that, the food was great. I sampled a few items of the apps that people ordered. From what I can remember, the truffle fries really stood out. For my entree, I got the chopped elk medium cooked. It was fantastic. Very delicious and almost tasted like a really beefy meatloaf. Not gamey at all. The sauce drizzled on it was so savory. I wished there were more mashed potatoes underneath because those were amazing too. It was also a very big portion. Definitely recommend. The club also comes with a lot of extra perks, which makes the experience even better. My coworker and I recently decided to go for happy hour (Monday-Friday from 3:00-5:30 PM). Since we're both wine club members, we wanted to do our wine tasting before our dinner reservation. I definitely recommend getting there earlier in the afternoon if you plan to taste. We arrived around 2 PM, and the tasting area wasn't packed yet, which made the experience much more enjoyable. If you plan to do the tasting, I suggest setting aside about an hour so you can really enjoy it without feeling rushed. After our tasting, we headed to our table for our reservation and ordered a few items from the happy hour menu while continuing the wine fun. Overall, Cooper's Hawk is a great spot for gatherings, date nights, or even meeting up with coworkers for happy hour.
