I haven't been to Bonefish Grill in a very long time. Two of my friends love Bonefish and recommended we stop in before a meeting. We happily obliged. We ordered a variety of items to include selections from the seasonal menu and several appetizers that we shared. We sampled the Bang Bang Shrimp, Kung Pao Brussel Sprouts, Sashimi Tuna, Crab Cakes, and the Imperial Dip. Our entrees included Lobster Ravioli, Shaved Brussels Sprouts Salad with Salmon, and the 8oz Chicken Breast with Broccoli. Of course, we had to have dessert. We shared the seasonal Cheesecake and Blueberry Crème Brûlée. Drinks included the Spirit-Free Botanical Breeze, Blueberry Sangria, a Martini and fountain drinks. My favorites were the Sashimi Tuna and Kung Pao Brussel Sprouts. The tuna was served with Soy and Sashimi sauces. The tuna alone was flavorful. However, with the sauces, it was even better. The sauces added another depth and flavorful profile to the tuna. The Kung Pao Brussel Sprouts were perfectly flash fried. The sweet and spicy Kung Pao sauce was an amazing addition! The Shave Brussel Sprouts Salad with Salmon was delicious. The salad was fresh and presented well. Bread service was also provided. The staff was friendly and accommodating. My father, daughter & I came for Easter. Aaliyah was amazing! She's super knowledgeable & very kind. I felt bad we had her running back & forth a bit more than we usually would with refills & stuff but it was super hot in the restaurant for some reason. The table next to us complained & their server said it's because they were near the window. Anyways. The crab cakes were better than last year but calamari was a bit soggy. Both were delicious tho so no real complaints. Love the blueberry lemon drop. The shrimp & scallops were very over powered by the grill taste. It wasn't a light char or subtle smokiness but it is called grilled shrimp & scallops so I blame myself. Overall it was okay food. We didn't complain because it wasn't bad just seems maybe a different cook or possibly different ingredients. But Aaliyah is the star of the show. She made the experience amazing. I stopped by Bonefish Grill for Martini Monday where all martinis are $5. I ordered the crushed pineapple martini along with the crispy cauliflower and the ahi tuna. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfect for a light bite. I sat at the bar and ordered appetizers and martinis, which makes for a really relaxed experience. The service is fun and welcoming. Came here last night with friends and enjoyed their $5 martini/margaritas Monday deal which was a great value! I had the dragonfruit margarita and it was a beautiful pink color with black salt on the rim.. delicious! For dinner I got their brussel sprouts salad with grilled shrimp and it was also delicious. The salad itself was a huge portion so that was a great value. The service was quick and friendly and asked if we were dine rewards members to get points. Where to go.... Bonefish Grill on Lake Underhill. This restaurant is always a safe bet for a nice meal. I decided to fly solo this afternoon and had a quick brunch, Bloody Mary and all. The menu features its own Bang Bang Shrimp that never disappoints and it expands to lobster, fish pasta, salads, chicken, and steak. They had two supplemental paper menus (not the greatest condition/presentation) one a special selection for two menu and a brunch one. The restaurant has a full bar ample dining room with booths tables and high tops. Outdoor seating available as well. I had a well mixed Bloody Mary followed by their bread which is served hot and with a well seasoned pesto sauce. Service is helpful and friendly. I ordered the crab cakes which are part of their appetizers. It was a serving of two nice sized crab cakes, I found the plating to be too simple. I also had the tomato bisque which was so incredibly delicious; however, both dishes served almost cold- room temperature. I will certainly be back to reorder the tomato soup/bisque. What an amazing time we had before our showing of Wicked For Good enjoying the collab of delicious martinis for the theme. I adored the wand and broom garnish on each one and the magical swirls of edible glitter in each one. The food was delicious as well. My favorite was the crispy cauliflower and the risotto. For desert we enjoyed an espresso martini which had a delicious chocolate and sugar rim. Our server was so sweet and gave us amazing suggestions. It wasn't the best espresso martini I've ever had, but it did have good flavor. After the drinks were brought out we were given fresh warm bread with olive oil and pesto for dipping. It was so good! There aren't a lot of choices for brunch. Only 8 choices to choose from. I went with the carprese frittata. It came with bacon and potatoes. It was tasty and very filling. My boyfriend and I went for Bonefish Merry Martini dinner, it included five courses with a cocktail (4 martinis and 1 glass of champagne) for $75. We were seated at a long table with other people who were participating. We started with a glass of Veuve Cliquot and lobster bisque. The bisque had big chunks of lobster in it and it was so flavorful! Next was a salad with nuts, brussel sprouts, feta and a balsamic type dressing. It was SO good! After that was mussels with linguine then after that was a 7oz filet with taters and veggies. Lastly we had a flourless chocolate brownie. We were shocked at the portions, I was expecting way smaller portions but we were very pleased. The martinis were "mini" but they really weren't that small, i'd say they were probably 4oz. or so. Overall, we were very pleased with the entire experience. The portions of the dishes as well as the drinks were definitely worth the $75 price tag. We recently hosted a rehearsal dinner for our son's wedding, and it was absolutely fabulous from start to finish. The staff went above and beyond from start to finish and our guest felt well taken care of. The service was attentive, friendly and professional. The food was delicious, and our guest were delighted about every meal. So here we are a week later and called the restaurant as the 75.00 erroneously charged still has not been refunded. Wife called the restaurant and talked to a different manager and was told that the charge was voided but not refunded as promised and told to go talk to our bank about it but it was a debit card used so the bank is not responsible for refunding the money Bonefish is. Now considering contacting the Florida States Attorney and filing credit card fraud charges against the restaurant, the manager Jamal and the server Paulette for giving us the correct check for our meal then charging our debit card with someone else's bill instead of ours then voiding the charge instead of doing a credit. This smacks of Fraud and will not rest until the people involved are arrested and charged with fraud. read more

My family and I had planned to have dinner at another restaurant, but due to the long wait, we decided to head to Bonefish instead. We were seated right away, but the walking space between tables was quite narrow, which made it a bit challenging to move around. Moreover, there was a large party with a crying baby next to our table, which made it difficult to enjoy our meal. I politely requested the host to move us to another table away from the crying baby, and they were kind enough to honor my request and moved us to a quieter area in the back of the restaurant. We ordered the bang bang shrimp, which was cooked to perfection and paired well with the bang bang sauce. The portions were good enough for the three of us. We also ordered a Moscow mule, Coke, and unsweetened iced tea, and the waitress was attentive enough to keep refilling my brother's iced tea. However, the fish we ordered, including the cod, Atlantic, salmon, and my butter grouper, was very heavily salted, which was not to our liking. I informed the server about this, and even though they apologized, it was still disappointing. The presentation of my grouper was not worth the price, and it looked like pieces of the fish were thrown on the plate. The risotto came out, cold and mushy, reminding me of cold porridge. my partner thought my risotto was mashed potatoes. However, the asparagus and broccoli were cooked to perfection, which was a nice surprise. I have been to other Bonefish locations before and have had a better experience. I hope this was just a one-off incident, and my future visits will be better. I would be hesitant to visit this location again, but I still have faith in Bonefish and will consider visiting other locations in the future. read more

Bonefish Waterford Lakes: I ordered off the "winter special" menu and got the grouper. The fish and accompanying sides were good, but the much touted smoky tomato butter sauce was basically non existent. The advertised picture shows a heaping helping of the sauce, which was delicious and made the dish, but the portion on my fish was about a teaspoon, which was good for about 2 bites. When I requested more, it took so long to get it that my fish was cold and everyone at my table had finished their meals. Our server kept saying it was coming, but it never did. He also said the manager would visit, but it took her about 30 minutes to finally show up. She apologized for the late arrival and brought out an additional tablespoon of sauce. She stated that all the sauce was frozen and that's all that was thawed. This occurred on a Saturday night at 7pm. This situation went from bad to worse instead of better. The fact that they would bait and switch on a signature dish is unfathomable, especially on a sauce which is inexpensive to make! Based on this, I CANNOT recommend this location! read more

I've been here a handful of times. I always get the bang bang shrimp as an appetizer and the caesar salad to start. My experience here has generally been good, a few hiccups occasionally with service or just ordering a special that I didn't like (personally not a fan of their Kung Pao dishes). I haven't found an entree that I would order again until my most recent visit, off their regular menu, I tried the scallop and shrimp, and it's now my favorite plate at this restaurant and I'll be ordering it again! This particular Bonefish Grill location is basically on the corner of Alafaya Trail and Lake Underhill Road. It is in a rather nondescript strip mall that looks like it is more designed for housing businesses geared around the medical field and services. I came here for a takeout meal of lobster tails with a Caesar salad and bacon mac and cheese. I got here just about in time for my food being brought out, but I did notice that the interior was pretty nice with a bar to one side and seating both inside and outside for dining. The restaurant itself is attractive and would be a pleasant vibe to dine in. I will say that if you are heading into Waterford Lakes, getting out of here is somewhat a pain. Probably the easiest way would be to cut through Waterford Town Centre. As for my takeout meal, the lobster was decent, though a bit small for the almost forty dollar price tag. The Caesar salad could have used more dressing and the bacon mac and cheese was little more than macaroni and cheese with almost whole slices of bacon thoughtlessly thrown on top. All on all, Bonefish Grill is a good restaurant option if you are craving seafood. All in all, I will give it four stars. read more

I love this place. From their appetizers to the entrees and all the way to dessert. And normally, I'm the type to go somewhere else if I want dessert! But not this place. The dessert is worth it. Particularly their carrot lava cake, so make sure to make room for it! For appetizers, I recommend the bang bang shrimp, the Mussells Josephine, the crab cakes, and the calamari. Of these options, my favorite is the bang bang shrimp, and second favorite is the mussells Josephine. My favorite entree is their wood grilled chicken. Well, I'm glad I am on a diet because for some reason my entree was $28 for the tiniest piece of bland fish I've ever seen and a thimbleful of mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes were supposed to have garlic in them but did not, from what I could tell. Anyhow, the bang bang shrimp was banging as usual and my husband's $18 entree of shrimp, scallops and pasta was delicious. He begrudgingly shared it with me since my food had no flavor.
