Bonefish Grill is a tried and true classic. Can't go wrong! Let's start with the wine: they actually have a great wine selection like Cakebread on the white list ($69 x bottle) and Allomi cabernet ($57 x bottle) On apps you have to get bang-bang shrimp, their classic shareable app, and the calamari are also delicious. We liked all the entrées, hard to go wrong with any of the choices. Something I love about Bonefish is that they are willing to give you ONE chocolate chip cookie (as opposed to having you order the full size dessert) if you happen to be the one person with a sweet tooth (I will not confirm or deny who that was! -cough- me) so that earns high marks on service for sure. Believe it or not first time visiting Bonefish. We did not have reservations but were quickly given options to choose bar seating or a high top by the bar. Service was great to begin with... they did get a little busy so it became hard to check in after food was delivered. The food did take some time to arrive and although it had great flavor it was not hot. We are definitely going to visit again and hope to have a delicious hot plate! read more

I sat outside with my dog during happy hour. I had asked for a happy hour including food years ago, & it was finally here. The outdoor tent was nice and cool. You have to ask to be seated. I sat on a bench invisible with my dog by the door until I spoke up. Then the service was excellent; they were really nice. I even downloaded the app & received a free dessert, to go coconut pie. The rum sauce got hard, so it was just okay, glad it was free. The best thing I ate was kung pao Brussels sprouts, they were amazing! I couldn't believe how great they tasted, perfect slight char also. The tuna sashimi was light & okay. Bang bang shrimp were just okay; I don't like them as much as a decade ago, just okay. Celebrating our anniversary here!! The bar area looks like a spot I'd like to hang out at on a football Sunday afternoon! Great vibe. Also, very impressed with the white tablecloths. The food was pretty good. A little disappointed that I ordered the corn chowder with lump crab, and it tasted like it was poured out of a can. No flavor except the spicy peppers. I actually only took one bite and didn't care for it. Fish dip was delicious too! My hubby had the filet mignon, and it was not only perfectly cooked, but the perfect combination of smokey and salty. Visited this location to attend their March martini. Madness dinner. Upon arrival, I was seated at a joint table with others who were also attending the dinner. This was a fabulous experience, I can't wait until they host another one next month. The dinner included 4 mini martinis, a salad, 2 entrees and dessert. I loved the scallop and shrimp pasta. The Rockefeller butterfish was cooked to perfection but could use more flavor. The salad was good but the drunken coconut pie was my least favorite. It was just an overwhelming amount of coconut. If you have the opportunity, I would recommend trying this. read more

Me and my husband enjoy Bonefish. Our most recent visit was unfortunately a regrettable one. We understand it was Labor Day weekend but even still we went at an early hour and the restaurant was barely half full. Not only were they out of sweet tea, but other items and the complimentary bread were off the menu. Regardless, what make us upset during this visit was the lack of clean up. Even with a server and a runner for our table not once did they offer to take our empty plates away. Not one plate was taken while we had dinner as you can see even after check out. If I wanted to be surrounded by dishes we would have stayed home. I recommend to other guest to try the Bonefish by the Orlando airport we've always had impeccable service there. Sadly we probably won't come back to the Waterford location. read more

One of my wife and I's favorite places in East Orlando. The Bang Bang Shrimp and calamari are two of our favorite apps. The BFG Burger is also TO DIE FOR! Great seafood options, steaks and chicken options as entrees as well. Also if you sit at the bar, ask for Angelique, Leisha, Macie, and/or Angelica as they are AMAZING!! Kudos to Josh for always making sure his team delivers top notch service to their regulars. The only reason I'm giving this 2 stars is for the Appetizer and the Service from our server (not management which I'll address). The quality of the entree's was downright laughable. First, the positives: our server Courtney was amazing and was bringing water, salads, appetizers, all with a giant smile on her face. Well, at least we think so due to the masks being worn. The Fried Calamari was the only appetizer we could order as we're not eating egg/dairy ingredients (although she warned there could be cross contamination from the buttermilk for the bang-bang shrimp, which we've had in the past and is great). The salads were good too, although they seemed small. For the entree, we both ordered tuna. They had this delicious sounding key west tuna with avocado and shrimp on top so I was sold. My wife ordered the Ahi Tuna without all of the decorations, just mango salsa. The tuna was off. The initial entree round started off with a small piece of tuna (mine) covered in shrimp, hard avocado pieces, and cherry tomatoes (all was cold by design). The tuna itself had a funny taste and after 1.5 bites, decided it wasn't safe to eat. The other piece wasn't the best color, but didn't taste bad, but wasn't great either. The waitress apologized and had another prepared. After a short time (I wasn't keeping track, but was reasonable), entree round 2 came out. The color was still off, more of a shiny chocolate color (see pictures) than beautiful red Ahi Tuna color that I usually see. I cut into it and it was frozen in the middle. C'mon now! Sure, I like it rare and they sure delivered on that. In my many years of dining and ordering Ahi Tuna (probably 25-30 years now), I have never seen it A) Brown or B) Frozen and Bonefish accomplished both in the same piece of fish. I sent it back and she offered another entree, something to go, etc. to make it right and I declined as we were heading to some stores afterwards. They did remove from the bill. My comment about management is how does someone serve a customer 2 "bad" dishes, and not pay the table a visit to apologize. Our server was very gracious and upset that they messed up the food twice so I gave him a five out of five. But the kitchen is inconsistent. The manager didn't seem to care too much. We headed to this location for an event and immediately fell in love with it. We love the chain as it is and this one didn't let us down. We were greeted right away and given a set close to the bar area. Our server was quick and attentive throughout the meal. My go to is always the bang bang shrimp and a side of mashed potatoes. So good. You can also ask through the bang bang to be done with chicken if you aren't a shrimp fan or have an allergy (my husband has a shellfish allergy and they do the chicken for him without a problem). They have a really good happy hour, as well as, bang bang Wednesdays which are discounted pricing for the shrimp (or chicken)! You can also do a platter for $12, which isn't as readily advertised, but just ask about it. The place overall is clean and really welcoming. It gets the normal dim lighting at dinner time, so it feels more intimate. Overall: A+ Great service, food and experience. This chain keeps things high-bar. read more

Bonefish grill is a pretty classic upscale date-night option. I love the experience and food, though this location has definitely been going through challenges. On my last visit, they were out of the two appetizers I wanted but charged me for one anyways. It took over an hour to receive food even though there were only six tables sat in a building with a 200+ person capacity. Between supply and staffing issues, I opted for desert at another location. I have to give it to them, though. The food was excellent! We ordered Lily's chicken and the fish tacos, and I have no critiques. Hopefully the other issues are resolved soon! read more

Service was not great. I got my usual, poke bowl and it was 90% rice, 5% tuna and there were 4 pieces of iceberg lettuce. Very disappointing meal and our service was so ehh it wasn't worth trying to get them to correct the meal. Won't be going back anytime soon. read more

I stopped into Bonefish before hitting the road to catch a game and had the bang bang shrimp, tried the mussels and fish and chips. I was stuffed to say the least. The bang bang shrimp was dressed a bit too heavy in the sauce and it was too heavy with mayo. The mussels tasted great but I had to discard about 6 of them because they wasn't opened meaning they were dead before being cooked. I didn't want to bother the kitchen in returning them but they shouldn't have served them. The cod was crispy and hot and fresh. Can never go wrong with Bonefish Grill. We were invited to a High School graduation party , there were 9 of us. They were very accommodating, even able to move the reservation earlier. We were greeted promptly and shown to our table. Part of the party was there already . Water was poured and menus given . While everything checked the menus out , a Bang Bang Shrimp and a Calamari were ordered to pass among the table. Both were fried to perfection, not over done and both were tender and flavorful. Two specials caught our eye; a Butterfish pan seared with a lemon butter sauce with lump crab on top ( opted for no creamy spinach on it). The two sides were green beans and the jasmine rice. The other special was "The Partner's Selection" ; Orange Roughy with lump crab on top with a lemon butter sauce. The two sides were roasted asparagus and jasmine rice. We did not wait long for our entrees to arrive , they arrived on hot plates and were hot. The Butterfish was flavorful, well seasoned and well cooked. The Orange Roughy was well seasoned, well cooked and flavorful. The waitstaff was very attentive. All around everyone had a delicious meal. read more

Had a recent dinner here with friends from out of town. The staff was wonderful and let us move to the patio to have privacy (although we were warned about the mosquitoes out there, I got bit a few times but it wasn't too bad) and it allowed my friends who had kids to be a little more relaxed. The waiter was good and checked up on us enough times even though we were outside. He was even able to accommodate some requests for the kiddos. The food here never misses. I love their bang bang shrimp app! I was very tempted to try some of their seasonal dishes but I stuck to their pasta which is always a win. My friend had the imperial cod and loved it. We even made it in for happy hour and got discounted drinks and apps. I was able to order a seasonal drink for happy hour that wasn't on the menu too. I am not one to write a negative review, but after some thought I think it's something to be shared. My boyfriend and I decided to come here to celebrate our anniversary of 2 years. Everything was great and so was our waitress until we received our food. We both ordered the filet and lobster with a side of green beans and rice. After I took my first bite I noticed a dark hair in my green beans. I informed the waitress and she brought me a plate to put my lobster and steak on while she got me fresh green beans. The green beans came back but were the same green beans I had originally. I know this bc I put pepper on them and the ones returned to me had pepper. I didn't eat them. I have been in the food service industry for many years and a table visit from a manager would have been nice, or even a discount on the meal. But we didn't even get that! Where was management? I understand things like this happen but for Bonefish to have the reputation it has I would've expected this to be handled differently. The steak had no seasoning on it and Also the espresso martini was horrible. It's not made with fresh espresso. We will not be returning. read more

I've been to this location a number of times and each time is incredible. The kung pao brussel sprouts are amazing. Even if you don't typically like brussel sprouts, these are worth a try. The bang bang shrimp (and chicken) is a MUST, and if you're craving a burger, the burger here is delicious and very filling. I've never had a bad meal here. Today, I tried the signature pasta with shrimp and this was easily some of the best grilled shrimp I've ever had. The service is always excellent as well. The hostess seated me quickly and my server, Angelica, was a dream! She brought drinks and food quickly and gave some great recommendations. I have been to various locations but my favorite in Central Florida is the Alafaya location. The service is superb and the way the plate is prepared makes the food look amazing. My favorite appetizer are the potstickers and I am a huge ran of the shrimp tacos. You also get bread with really good olive oil. read more
